Possibly the most insensitive piece of "comedy" on the internet. Nothing funny about them stripping the couple's decisions to fame seeking and ignoring the real politics of their marriage and stay in EU (or anywhere in the world for that matter) .
I think if you don’t like in UK (or maybe even EU), we don’t really care that much that they are royals. It’s just another couple that can be made fun of, which is what’s happening here, joking. No one watching is taking this seriously, we don’t believe Megan just want to be friends with Jennifer Anniston. We don’t even think they are moving to LA. It was just jokes. I don’t find it insensitive at all, but I think people who take the royal family seriously and are into all that might see it differently. But the truth of the matter is they are just two humans moving country.

The British media has absolutely been horrible to this couple, I for one don't care about the Btitish royalty or any royalty for that matter, its obscene that in this day and age such a useless institution still exists, however the way she has been treated by the media in the UK from day one is absolutely horrendous, I do hope sincerely they don't turn her into another tragic Diana, poor girl, she did not know what a horror show she marrying into.

And why is it such a big deal that they are moving? It’s their lives, who cares where they go.
It's a big deal because what they asked for was not to retire and make their own way, but to forego £100,000 of the several million given to them annually if they didn't have to do the work and could use the cachet of the name to sell stuff. This has been in the works for some time, as evidenced by their trademarking and creation of MWX Trading.
In theory, royals aren't meant to take freebies or merch, but the friction seems to have revolved around Meghan's total disdain for this, and she appears to have been merching for, amongst others, Jennifer Meyer, Stella McCartney and H&M. The family looks to have been subtly trying to have her adverts pulled because she was using Remembrance Day and the baby to make money. The humanitarian then appears to have thrown Jennifer Meyer under the bus, to take the heat off herself.
Remembrance Day wasn't the only time they disrespected dead soldiers for money, however. Harry was invited to a memorial for dead marines, as part of his role as Commander in Chief, but turned it down to go to a Lion King premiere. Despite reportedly being paid 3 million to attend, Harry used it as an opportunity to hustle a Disney exec for a job for Meghan. The 3 million seems to have been given to their foundation for, say, animal causes. However, they are really using foundation money to pay for Harvey Weinstein's PR company.
The PR strategy seems to be one of victimhood, which is where the racism line probably came from. To be fair, I did read one comment (out of hundreds of thousands or more) with a really offensive word, but that is not the origin of the criticism. If you read the reactions, you begin to see that they're almost exclusively about narcissism and are aimed at him, too. It's also incredibly insulting when we're aware that she is the one who described herself as Caucasian.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, and there are much more sinister aspects, but I'm uneasy reading comments that show people don't know the truth, when the 'victims' have been trying to limit the freedom of the press in a manner Kim Jong Un would envy.

@Joe S Particularly since Meghan is a Diana obsessive. In the engagement interview, she claimed she didn't know there was a "global interest" in the family and that she "didn't know much about him". Totally outrageous lies, disproved by photos, her words, and stories from friends and their parents. The biggest giveaway is a picture of her holding a "Harry's still single" mug. It's funny that, just today, she's throwing the brother she must have fantasised about marrying for decades under the bus.
If anything, it is probably her unrivalled encylopaedic knowledge of Diana that helped her separate him from every friend and family member, bar a couple that are trying to make money off the back of them (and bow to her). This is not a love story for the ages -- like everything in the Strong Caucasian Humanitarian Supermodel's life, it is based on massive deception, and the marriage is likely the result whatever coercion was used by Meghan, Markus, Jessica and Doria at the Invictus Games, when they turned up uninvited (again). Now, he is no literally no longer allowed to talk, walk or stand without her approval, and responds to commands from her hands and knows to let her push him out the way. Markus Anderson is allowed to do what he likes.
There's evidence to show exactly what is going on, and that this scam is premeditated, but I really don't think some people will care whatever they find out. Even if they realise they were making money out of South Africa.
