I have some shirts and would love to have one made for my son but I am afraid I will mess it up wish I could get you to make it for me. That one was beautiful. I don't understand how you do the banding where it is on front and back and the border.
Thank you so much for this video! I'm attempting my first quilt and you were EXACTLY what help I needed! Thank you thank you 😊❣️ I subscribed and rang bell you best believe!
Hi, I'm very new to sewing. I have done it before, but always needed help on certain things.Well My father sewed all my things, but passed when i was 14, I should have had him teaching me. I'm going to follow everything in your video. I was wondering if you had any preferences regarding a sewing machine? I am going to buy one for this project. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Piper- I am so glad that you’re here. I would recommend getting a machine that has a walking foot. Most brands have them included with the machine, however, there are some that don’t. Just make sure it’s noted in the contents. 😊 Happy Quilting and Sewing! 🧵
@@TheCraftyAuthorsomeone told me to look, I believe it was for an automatic threader. I bought one machine, had to return it because I was told I had to have an automatic threader.
@@piperf7082 well that’s just … false news lol I have an auto threaded and haven’t even figured out how to use it 😂 I find it so much easier to manually thread , but everyone’s different 🤷🏼♀️
Pam- I'm sure it is possible. I have not made one that way as I think it might be difficult with how stretchy the t-shirt fabric is. It might be something really cool to try though.
I would like to know the same. And whether it’s a rag quilt or not, if they are old t-shirts, is there a good method to remove the ‘balling’ on the shirts?

Hello! This is perfect timing! I have a friend in Aurora that needs one made for her daughter. I don't have time as I'm working on one for my daughter. If you are not interested do you know anyone who will make? I'll also ask on your FB page. Also, does the 2.5in die work on the Go Baby? Thanks so much. Rochelle
Hi Rochelle- At this time I wouldn’t be able to make a t-shirt quilt. We are getting to close to the holidays and I have a lot of projects that I have going that need finishing. I am flattered though. 😊 I don’t know anyone in our area that would be interested. Feel free to ask in the group, I think that might be the best place. As far as the 2.5” strip die, I don’t think it works in the GO Baby, but you can check on AccuQuilts site and it should be able to tell you what fabric cutter that die is compatible with.
I use 906F....it is just a bit lighter. TShirt Quilts are heavy as it is. Therefore, I like to use something just a bit lighter to help keep the weight down.
I received them as a gift from my father in law when he purchased my heat press. Here are some other Teflon sheets that I have used. amzn.to/3kxCfyD Please note: this is an affiliate link and if you purchase through it, I will make a small commission.
What a Masterpiece. Amazing

If the shirt is already ironed does it need parchment on top and the binding on back ?
What do you use for the back of the blanket 6:49

Thank you and welcome! 😊
Gorgeous! Amazing work.
How did you sew the quilted pieces together
Hi my name is Tammy and I was just wondering if you make the t-shirt quilts for individuals and how much you charge
Would you be able to use sweatshirts and teeshirts together? Your quilt looks awesome! It is going to be a great Christmas 🎄 gift!
Thank you, Darci! Yes, you could use both t-shirts and sweatshirts, just be sure to use stabilizer and be forewarned that it will be very heavy. 😊
That is beautiful. Looks like a lot of work
Great job!!
Thank you, Debbie! It really was but it was worth it. 😊
Looking for your video on binding the T shirt quilt Thanks
Looks good 🙏🏽❤️😷
Thank you, Candy ❤️
What brand of teflon sheets did you use and where can it be purchased at
That’s beautiful . Do you make them for people? I would love one .
Thank you. I only make quilts for family at this time. I do have some that I sell in my Etsy shop, but not the t-shirt quilts.
Hi there! I’m excited to make this quilt. I could use some more instruction on how to quilt as you go....any suggestions ?
Tanya- I have a tutorial on how to do Quilt As You Go. You can view that here: ruclips.net/p/PLC26UuejwRbpOHGIu_HsClFNDK6LyIWAU

I’m going to try that stabilizer I use pellon sf101
I really liked it. It worked great!

@@angelstauffer9493 Thank you. I’ll have to give that one a try.
Does the stabilizer make the quilt stiff?
Hi Janet- No, the stabilizer used is different than embroidery stabilizer. It’s much softer and still stabilizes the knit fabric.
Love it!!
Where do you get the Teflon ironing sheets?
I received them as a gift from my father in law when he purchased my heat press. Here are some other Teflon sheets that I have used.

Is it heavy?
Yes. Very.
What would you estimate this took you in labor hours?
It took me quite a while to make this one. If I had to estimate hours, I’d say it took me about 40 hours from start to finish.
How much did you charge?
I didn’t. It was a gift for my nephew. 🤣

Hi Anissa!
Hi Linda! How are you doing?
While it’s super clear you know what you are doing this video is missing wayyyyy too many steps.
I can tell your sister isn't a quilter.
LOL! She definitely is not. 😂
