he is an outcast. Someone who does not fit in society like a normal person, that's why he becomes clark kent. Yet, he is the truest symbol of hope. He is the one who sacrifices for the greater good. People can not understand how lonely his duty is, but nothing will stop him for doing what he needs to do. The greatest hero

This might be the single best superman scene ever on film. It encompasses everything Superman is. He is heartbroken flying up. He does not brood. He does not cry. He does not go into exile or hide, What does he do? He Immediately helps people. Listens to the entire earth and helps those who needs it. Truly amazing. Lois wrote "why the word doesn't need Superman" this scene is here to show us why it does.

      Matthew 11:15
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Are you saved? Where will you go when you die? Heaven or hell?
The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that who reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell.
      1 Timothy 3:16 KJV
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
      John 1:1,14 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us,
      1 John 3:8 KJV
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
      Hebrews 2:14-16 KJV
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [15] And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [16] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
      Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
      John 1:10 KJV
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT.
      John 20:28-29 KJV
And Thomas answered and said unto him, MY LORD AND MY GOD. [29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
      Acts 16:30-31 KJV
...what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
      Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
      1 John 1:8-10 KJV
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

"He does not go to exile or hide"
I don't know, about that. Do you even know why Clark had the fortress of solitude to begin with in the comic?
Or why instead of losing his sanity, Bruce noted that Clark enjoyed solitude and silence in the dark side of the moon?
Even someone like superman can get tired. He even seek help from a psychiatrist to deal with all the loses he suffered during imperiex's invasion, the loss of his father jonathan kent, or when he lost all the kryptonians in kandor. Just when he thought he's no longer alone.
That's what made clark human. It's okay to cry and seek help once in a while.
I'm not disagreeing with yah btw. Your point is well articulated.

      @cfd3384 4 года назад +3

@@rnspurgn3015 No the movie was pretty good, I found the pacing to be a real problem. It was too slow and quiet, with a couple of chaotic and loud scenes... it wasn't cohesive enough. I think with some better editing and a few re-shoots it could have been 100% better. The concept of creating a new continent out of Kryptonite was genius!

    • @PurooRoy
      @PurooRoy 3 года назад +2

@@cfd3384 pacing wasn't the only problem. Superman looked like a parody because of that terrible costume which is ironic since Batman got such a good costume just a year ago, there were no action scenes and Superman only gets beaten up, and there was literally no story except Superman comes back. It would have been good if this was a completely new story like Man of Steel, but it's a sequel to Superman II.

You tend to forget. This is an established Superman based on the Christopher Reeve movies. Henry Cavill is a newborn Superman. Just cuz he's wearing a suit doesn't give him the experience. It's not that man of Steel was heartless or didn't care about people. He just hasn't got the experience Superman Has in this this film. Both movies are good for what they are. Although I couldn't agree with you in one area, I didn't like the direction snyder was going to go later on with Superman. Superman should never turn evil.

This clip is poignant. Superman hears that Lois never loved him -- that's got to hurt -- then he floats above the planet and listens to all the agony of the world below him. I don't know what anymore anyone could expect from a super-man. Yeah, this reflects true heroism and sacrifice. He continues to be a protector of the planet after having his heart ripped out. The movie didn't get the recognition it deserved. I also loved John Ottman's score that blended so well with the original John Williams' music.

It had great scenes and potential. The film rubbed people wrong for several reasons: Superman spying on a family in their home, he has a child out of wedlock (he’s a dead beat dad), he’s sad and serious most of the film (a problem people also had with Cavill), and not much action. Dealing with an “island” isn’t very exciting or fun to watch. Something should have come from that like an alien monster. It needed more action and more fun.
Especially true when little kids watch it. It’s difficult explaining to your 7 yr old why Superman is sad and why he’s not with his son. Also Superman gets beaten twice in the film, there’s two death scenes that are difficult for kids to watch.

Although I didn't like this movie, I can say this is the best scene in the movie. This is why. It's a powerful scene symbolizing Superman hearing all of the world's suffering and having to deal with this every day. Since he can hear everything, it's like Superman's head is Pandora's box. That's heavy...

See this is what makes superman so great and unique among the other heroes. Sure he's a part of the justice league and the other heroes are back on earth and other planets fighting and living. But it's superman that floats in silence among the very people that he feels an outsider to, and he listens to their problems and answers their calls. He's on a league of his own.

This very scene is the masterpieces this particular one. It’s just the way he expresses his loneliness, the music, the narrators voice and the atmosphere is just way of the limits. A lot of people struggle to find their path in the life so that’s why that feel this way, but he thought, he does what he supposed to and still he feels that there is missing something. Perhaps it’s not the purpose that person should be looking for but for the place we all call home.
