Definitely the Shimoda. I liked the Atlas Athelstan but my biggest long-term complaint is the camera storage area is very shallow and it was a tight squeeze to fit larger mirrorless bodies and lenses into. I like the flexibility of the Shimoda system.
@@BrendanWiltse Thank you so much for your reply. I was about to get Shimoda Action X30 anyway, but still was wondering about Atlas Pack Athletic bag as the web site was alluding to an upcoming sale ( Black Friday ). Now I can comfortably just go with Shimoda and not look back. Shimoda is also over $100 less than Athlete Pack, which helps a lot for me anwyay. Thank you 11
Correction: The pack weighs 4.8 lbs with the medium mirrorless core unit installed, not 6.8 lbs.
And, I also wanted to add that I enjoy your review and the landscape posts. Thank you
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you! My goal is to post content more regularly in 2024.
Did you consider the Shimoda Explore 30 v2? I believe it is lighter than the Action x30
Between Action Pack Athlete bag and Shimoda X30, which one do you prefer?
