The giant buddha statue is one of the largest statues in the world with him lying down. It is a really cool place to visit if you want to escape the city for the day.
Fukuoka is one of the top largest cities in Japan. So if you're a city person and love to explore all the different Japanese style shops, this is the place to visit.
