  • In this video I replace the drivers side door on a ford super duty f550
I attribute my successes to god and give him the glory.
“See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

For a self proclaimed non body man, you did an excellent job. Like you said it is a work truck. It will soon be covered in dust and the townspeople will never know.

Aside from the sticker being missing it’s hard to tell with the road film on there now. 😁

No problem, thank you for watching sir. I feel blessed right up until I feel like I’m being taken down a notch and humbled a bit. Sort of a message to remember where the talents come from.

As I said before you have good content, a person pays attention you’ll get knowledge from your videos. Most people have no idea the number of parts to be removed to get a major part off. Not to mention time. You answered some questions I had for certain items you removed especially the harness connection. Thanks for taking time to video.

Thank you. Every maker seems to have a different trick to get there connectors apart. I’m glad I was able to answer your question, thank you for your support.

Jason, don’t count yourself short. The paint job turned out very nice. As you stated yourself - It’s a Work truck! Plus the weather in your part of the country does not treat vehicles very kindly. Thanks for posting and sharing.

Thank you I appreciate that. I was a bit over confident in the beginning and the dust in the air kept landing on the door. I think it would have been pretty good if I could have kept the dust out.

Thank you. A lot of these videos are the first time I’ve done the task so they are a learning process for me too.

I went into it thinking it would come out better then it did and was quickly humbled with all the dust that got in it. I learn a little more each time. I was thinking of getting a small inflatable spray booth for small things like this.

The trucks over 10 years old. The paint wasn't going to match the faded paint. You did a good job!

Thank you. I had high expectations but unfortunately over estimated my capability. That’s how you learn though.

Hey I think given the conditions you have to work with it came out good enough. With out a paint booth its tough. Its is a town work truck, so Im sure soon enough there will be enough dirt and dust that is will all look the same. 👍 So I say job well done.

I can’t say I’m proud of it, But it’s less obvious than the white one. Besides I’m just going to say someone else did it anyway. 😁

Quit beating yourself up it looks fine and more importantly it has a one piece window glass. Good job on making those round holes square, too many people have forgotten about files.

I’m over it now. Yeah a solid piece of glass is a good trade off for some dust in the paint. I’ll get it on the next one. The files did a pretty quick job of adding corners, a sharp file is nice to work with.
