gracias por compartir su conocimiento, thanks for sharing your knowledge, can you talk something about the old's a604 body valves and its failures? thanks again
Biggest problem with those is the solenoid switch valve, this valve has 2 functions, works with the low/reverse solenoid and when the valve moves into another position it works with the lock-up solenoid. If it hangs up you will get code P1776
Very interesting Gary, I own a 2021 Ram with a 6.7 Cummins and a 68 RFE transmission. I have heard lots of people talk about problems and wondering if you have any advice that will help keep these transmissions in top shape during towing and maintenance that you feel would benefit this transmission.
Gary Ferraro Hello. My Audi A3 8p shows p1707 004 interférence in mechatronic module And - gear5 P0735 000 incorrect ratio Can I fix this problem with VCDS coding or something like that just to stop coming up this problem. Because when it’s cold, until 80-90 C it doesn’t start. The previous user said it’s he never changed the oil. Man while I do think you are possibly a good mechanic I can’t help but provide constructive criticism, use the right tools for the job like snap ring pliers, and oil filter wrenches or at least use channel locks the right way. Otherwise good job and info.
you are the best ... thank you
Awesome! I now want to find one to practice in. Is there a part 2 of you putting it back together?
There is not ,sorry

Great video with good teardown information and tips! So the scan tool says one thing but experience tells you something else.

0871 is the solenoid switch valve wore
P0871 is a pressure switch rationality code for the overdrive pressure switch, basically it's open or closed at the wrong time
Ever bigger question: Why is a 4 year old transmission needing an overhaul? Junk transmissions to begin with.
MUY BIEN AMIGO.
How long of a flat screw driver are you using?
