Great discussion guys! This was the last album I picked up of theirs (minus the 80's albums), I agree with you guys honestly. I think it's their weakest of the later albums, not horrible, but not amazing. I think the first half of the album is great, songs like Goddam electric, Yesterday don't mean shit, Revolution is my name and Death rattle. But the second half really lets it down, lots of average forgettable songs. So definitely a half and half album for me🤘🏻🤘🏻
What about Immortally Insane? IMO the best song that ended up being a bonus track on the re-issue. Remixed my Terry. That opening Dime Riff is heavy AF
Great album, not just a breakdown, chug fest, like you you guys obviously want. This and Great Southern are the only 2 albums I care to listen to these days...
@@hectorThechilldudeonacouch I will say Hector, I do miss the breakdown, chug fest albums of OVERKILLs career, man the last 4 or so albums are so mehhh.
the bashing of Phil is exhausting. The guy made a comment in the 90s that he apologized for. Let’s move on I can name musicians far worse in attitude then him. He had his issues with alcohol but which musicians haven’t. Just my opinion. I enjoyed all their albums.
I understand Phil has said some dumb things but you never hear bad things about him from fans or fellow musicians. If he were a bad guy you would have a lot more evidence to support it than just him saying some stupid things from time to time when he's out of his mind on alcohol or something else. He also comes off as someone who tries to inspire people and give them hope. You don't see him shitting on people for no reason other than Metallica back in the day lmao. Other than that he's pretty positive and always gives other bands some shine. He's not like some bitter guy full of hate that hates to see people succeed. He just lets his substance abuse get outta control which is still 100% his fault.. Even in the video where he gives the Hitler salute...you can tell he's fucking blackout drunk as soon as you start watching the video.
It’s wasn’t terrible for me, but just “not as good” as their other ones from CFH on. To this day, I HATE that drum sound Vinny had going on. I was glad Rick Ruben fixed it in the remix.
It's an ok album but i remember it being a bit disappointing to me. It just doesn't have the fire & fury of the earlier stuff. Some of it sounds almost like recycled old stuff and kinda lazy.
Such a shame we lost Dimebag Darrell. That horrible tragedy in Columbus should not have happened! December 8th this year will mark 20 years since Dimebag was shot and killed onstage.

Did you go to the half reunion?
I love this album to.
Good
Pantera is always best legend
What do you think of the reunion?
Idk The riffs are insanely memorable, production was stellar. If some think it's bad that's fine, but I don't think it's bad.
Its an ok album, but had mixed reviews and fewer sales.
Yesterday Don't Mean Shit alone locks it up there for me. Some drunk dude.
