Beautiful van build, and I like the idea of using pins to keep things stable. The only way to improve that I think is to attach the pins to strings so they don't get lost when they're pulled out. Very well designed and built! Thanks for the tour.
I like this vanbuild the best I've seen of about 50. Plain, simple. Love minimalism.
Now that is my DREAM VAN.... NEVER have I seen a better set up for my needs at least. Love it !!!

I totally love the layout for this van! If I had a van I wouldn't want a bed in the back like I have seen in so many vlogs I would want it behind the driver's seat like this . Also I love the dual purpose of the couch . KEWL!
I have been watching him as he did his build.... he was very patient with his design...knew exactly what he wanted and even have to reduce a few things be at he wanted it to be done correctly....took his time... and his perfection of his build shows.... GREAT JOB

Without a doubt, one of the best van builds I've ever seen. The extra length van let him do some creative and ingenious design features that someone in a shorter van couldn't replicate. I love the bed being on the side with a clean fore to aft aisle between the bed and the kitchen. Well thought out, well done! And Brian, a great interview and tour on your part.
I prefer the open center aisle and side bed setup. Nice work! ✌🏿

I have seen hundreds of different campervan layouts and this is by far my favorite.
Loved how when he picked Woody up by his legs and put him on the floor he just went back to sleep.
Wow...great job! We are in the process of converting a 2017 Ram 2500 High Top Promaster into a camper! We are filming each stage of the process and watching tons of videos on youtube along the way to get new ideas!! Thank you for some great ideas!!

Very nice build! Looks great. Having the bed on the side like that gives clearance from front to back, opening up the space. Love it!
Nice! he needs one of those cutlery baskets ,just screw it down in the far corner of the bench,sorted!,Frees up his sink.
Took lots of notes from this one and think it's one of the great solo bachelor builds out there.

With a clean, streamlined and beautiful looking wood build like this - a woman (new girlfriend for example) would have no problem traveling/living in this. It looks more like an custom, well built RV. The trick is having everything enclosed with drawers and cabinets, which takes away from being an eyesore of clutter.

Could you ever see yourself getting a van and set up like this one? I know you like to live as simplistic as possible, but I think it would be super cool for you to get a sweet set up like this one at some point. You deserve it! Are there any aspects of this van that you could definitely see yourself doing something similar? You gotta get some some sweet color changing LEDs on the inside roof of your van at least lol
That was a really cool way to convert that van. Woody is so cute! It's amazing to see all the different types of ways you can turn something into a working and livable place inside a vehicle. Awesome job!

I don't know why people gave a thumb down, amazing work , he could make and sell them, this was well though designing, he made sure he will not hear anything while driving , but in my case I like t be warm I would had added a little Dickenson heater , would be easy for him to do the way his propane bottles are install. love the video , and that little wired griff so cute and calm lol

I love the Vanderbilt even though he's not the van dweller and is a weekend warrior but it's all the same to build is awesome I love it it's individually done and it's not manufactured built which is why I like it he didn't self like I did mind myself I tell people the same do your conversion van yourself is unique when you do it yourself..
Been in the van 100% since 2010.

Indeed there may be weekend warriors aspiring to be full-time. I guess if they are interesting and you enjoy their content then you could watch them evolve into full-timers. Once you have the bug there is no turning back. I could never live in a house. I would just be bored and walk around in circles all day 😂. The outdoors is my living room.

@@VanderingAbout you said it's all right I agree with you when I have my full apartment I was complaint doing nothing to talk and crap about going out but never end up going anywhere cuz I got so used to stay the night in their house once I built my van and you back to my van you're right there's no staying in there now...

Thanks for doing another single-bed van build! They are hard to find, for those of us who just don't need a full time full bed. I keep looking for bunk-bed builds, like a couch where the back lifts up to form an upper bunk - very rare.

Nicest & cleanest looking van build I've seen. Only 2 problems for me: Can't stand up & no toilet. But it's his van & not mine. That's what makes America great-everyone can live they way they choose. Woody was my favorite part. He's a mellow pooch. Thanks for the tour.
Yeah I'd have thought in a van that long, a toilet cubicle with a shower would have been very doable
A lot of craftsmanship. Am going for the same floorplan with an extended Chevy 1-ton. I'll have minus double digit cold to deal with at times. Let you know how that goes....

I'm thoroughly impressed. The design, fit and finish, and organization is impeccable. You just don't see this very often. I know Craig is enjoying his creation, as well he should be..The pimped out lighting is the only thing that would scare me away, LOL...

I like the sleeper berth, Food prep and cooking area layout, but I would have more open shelving so I would have something to stare at on rainy days. Woody looked like he owned the camper it wasn't moving anywhere without him.

By far one of the best builds I have seen. I am looking for a conversion type van to do something similar but I realize that it's out of my realm of physical possibility to do something like that myself. So please if Craig ever decides to sell this van will someone let me know?
