All of their videos are fairly abstract and pretty much just art for the sake of being art. Maynard is one of the guys in the suits at the beginning and Tricky (the rapper) is the guy in the second half of the video.

I would stick to doing just studio album cuts. Once you’ve experience the sound and feeling of Tool then you can immerse yourself in the visual. Tools sound is colors and visuals for the mind. In my humble opinion the only visual first time experience of seeing Tool perform is 1993 Sober, it’s been remastered so the sound quality matches the performance of Maynard’s ability to absorb you into his soul and you ride the bands connection thru their instruments! It’s your journey and you have to discover your path & incorporate Tool into your universe! Rock On Stay Safe!🙏🤘🤘🤘

The lyrics have always seemed to me to be about "Why am I alive now, in this body? Where was I before I was alive? Where will I go? What does it mean to exist for a finite time?" Deep stuff. All this pain is an illusion
Hi! I love your reactions and I love TOOL lol. They are my favorite band but I will suggest to stay away from their music videos. You can watch them after you’ve digested the song. Their videos can be very distracting from the actual music bc of how uncomfortable they can make you. Keep the TOOL coming though :)
