This song was the surprise highlight of the last time I saw Tool live.
I saw where they were inserting this song in the set list. I think they played The Patient in stead at my show. Which was pretty epic.

Nice reaction video dude, keep up the good work ! :) As a die hard fan of Tool, I would suggest Lateralus (check the meaning before, it's heavy stuff) and Parabola. H too. And Prison Sex. It's too hard to choose, there's so many! Also may I suggest the latest from Arch Enemy- The Watcher , it's really good and a renaissance for the band IMO:)

My take on this is that this is allegorical to the story of the Two mothers and one baby in the book of Solomon in the bible. One mother, who rolled over on her child and killed it in her sleep, wants another woman's baby, and to claim it as her own. The other mother, the real mother, implores King Solomon it's HER baby. Solomon orders the child split in two and each half handed to each mother. The real mother protests and says "no give my baby to her". The King recognizes this as the true mother, whereas the other mother says "fine-sure-do it". The mother is given her child back and the other mother I believe is executed.

Have you listened to TesseracT? They’re the melodic version of Meshuggah, absolutely fantastic. Altered State is a 10/10 album.
