Thank you for pointing out technical issues. It seems we are losing focus of that. So much on arrangements now. Can you actually play and execute and maintain the power and control is huge for me as a musician

I was in the band in 2016 and I still remember how the crowd went crazy on that first note from tourist

Steven…..first Crankfest was in 2016 and n New Orleans This ☝🏾.
The next was when AssKorn and Terrible Dega were added.
The last one was in Mumford stadium in 2019 when they replaced AssKorn with TSU. First two in New’s Orleans and the last being in The SU campus.
As you see the reoccurring theme has been JSU v SU pretty much.
SU home field advantage did nothing for their overall outcome in either year. First two…..Meh 🫤 could have gone either way between The Boom and The Jukebox
2019 was truly “Boomfest” Hands Down!
He didn't give JSU their 4 points before the song neck 1:15:54. JSU's score board never changed from 56 to 60 at 1:17:04 . Then he gave JSU 4 for neck which would have been 64. The final score for JSU was suppose to be 69 after big ballin which he gave a 5.
The final score was suppose to be JSU 69 to SU 68.
the second crankfest was at TSU in their gym in 2016 as well
I could be early a year but Crankfest started in 2015 with Txsu and SU

Other schools was invite in 19! Telladega, Texas Southern, was invited! Next yr Alcorn was invited to the mix!

When you hear " Do what you wanna” or any second line song in New Orleans that usually means it time to go or party over. But JSU kept playing 🤷🏾♂️
That would be true if it were a party…..SU played it because they were ready to go. They also felt like the back and fourth was getting redundant and the crowd needed a pick me up.

I'd prefer no gospel tunes. I can't relate to them since I dont know any. I was watching a battle of the bands where the announcer was saying "how many of y'all love god, raise your hand if you do" right before a band played a gospel song. With all the religions in the US, I think its ridiculous!

JSU’s mistake was 💯% on the director he always conducts so weird to me it’s awkward and off beat he always seems off tempo I don’t know is it just me🤷🏾♀️

Can we stop giving staple songs such high scores? I mean it is too safe in my opinion. When it comes to Crankfest give me creativity…I want the new new ish…leave the leftovers at home.

Staples become staples because they a great arrangements! why would those be left at home?
@@KmacFIRE Staples are safe so leave them home. I want new pin smoke and nothing less. If I want to hear staples then I would go to a game. This is a battle.
