Thank you very much for your dedication, understanding and never ending support! Can you, please, advise on a few issues: I have diabetes so I am afraid to eat pineapple because it’s loaded with sugar. If I have it occasionally will it help? The same thing with citrus fruit. I love all citrus fruits but eat only grapefruit and lemon. Is camomile tea and dandelion tea the same? I think it’s the same, but can you confirm please? I have camomile tea every day, sometimes 2 times a day just because I love it hot or iced with lemon. Many thanks in advance!
It's astounding to me how little the lymphatic system is discussed in both medical and naturopathic circles. There are some who talk about it, but for the most part it is overlooked and underappreciated. It is, after all, only THE most important function of filtration, detoxification, purification and healing in the entire human body. There is more lymph fluid than blood in the human body for a reason. Dr. Samuel West was a pioneer for health, healing and lymphatics in this field. Keep that lymph moving always to assure optimal health and healing. Thank you to this amazing woman for being on top of it. Bravo!

Paul, I've just been diagnosed with lymphedema and I want to try some of these additions to my diet. Did you get any types of physical therapy/ massage treatments for your legs?
Love how you give natural alternatives verses putting people on prescribed drugs, that can in turn cause an effect on your organs after years of taking
Thank you for your feedback! We strongly believe in the power of natural remedies and prefer to recommend them over prescribed drugs whenever possible to minimize any potential long-term negative effects on the body.

It’s not completely clear yet because there’s some underlying issues my functional doctors are helping me tackle, but I can confirm the foods you mentioned help a lot and I will continue to incorporate what you’ve mentioned. Great video!

From time to time I have cranberries, citrus fruits and fermented foods and I'm trying very hard to increase my intake of them as well.😁
I love garlic! I put it on almost everything. I do eat sauerkraut every day. I also take a milk thistle/dandelion supplement. I also eat healthy fats daily like today I had half an avocado. I use turmeric supplement for pain/inflammation as needed. My husband takes a ginger supplement. I have some ginger. I think I’ll make a tea. Thank you for the information.

So I’ve heard the rebounder( exercise trampoline) is a great way to promote drainage also? I’m buying one today!! I eat most the foods you Mentioned in this video but need to step up on my dandelion tea looks like. Thx, very informative.
Yes, rebounding is a great way to promote lymphatic drainage and can be a fun and effective addition to your wellness routine. I'm glad to hear that you found the information in my video helpful, and incorporating dandelion tea into your routine may also be beneficial for supporting lymphatic function. Best of luck with your rebounding practice, and feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!
Yes a rebounder is the way to go for lymphatic drainage. It is the gravity of going up and down that helps with the drainage. You don't even need to do high jumps. Just keep your feet planted on the mat with slight bended knees and bounce on the spot for some minutes. I also do some jumping jacks. I'm glad I got a good make of rebounder with bungee springs as it is silent and won't disturbe my flat neighbours!

Thanks, right now I drink applecider and lemon in large glass of water. Everyday on empty stomach I take 2 tablespoon of pur virgin olive oil. Followed by drink. I eat everyday a small cup of Greek plain yogurt with either blueberries or strawberries. I drink oolong tea with cinnamon. Also later cup of ginger tea along with green tea. Any further , I'm beginning to eat and drink cranberries. I have thyroid and lymphatic issues learning a lot about the Vegas nerve.
Thank you for sharing your current diet and health routine with me. It's important to continue learning about your health conditions and finding ways to support your body, such as through the vagus nerve. Keep up the good work!
Hi I just watched the 10 powerful foods video. Did you introduce the food in order of best to last or are they all equal in their ability to help the Lymph system?
Hi. I am a GA girl! And I love my morning lemon water, sweetened with organic stevia or local natural honey. To me, it's like a summer in a glass morning treat. I enjoy it before my breakfast. I juice 1/2 a lemon, added to 8 oz. room temp. water. I add 5 drops of liquid stevia or 1/2 pkt. of stevia powder. Sometimes I add ginger (fresh or ground), or cinnamon (fresh from stick, or ground), or turmeric (ground). I have found that it gives me so many benefits like a morning coffee. I tend to get cysts when I consume coffee, but not with my lemonade. It clears the morning brain fog, and energizes me. Since I was a child, my lymph nodes have always been large and lumpy, especially in the bend of my elbows and back of both knees. Sometimes they swell and get sore. I've addressed this with my physician, he agrees that they are larger than normal, but assures me that my 'numbers' are good from my blood tests panel so I shouldn't worry about it. That's when I have begun researching and learning about the lymphatic system. And so, in my research, I stumbled upon this video of yours. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching about the different herbs and foods. One last thing....I have recently become aware of the magnitude of nutrients dandelions gives us. I have tried the store bought tea, and it didn't taste good. Can you recommend some ways to use dandelions. We have fresh dandelions growing in our yard, and we don't use any sprays on the yard, as our yards are pasture land. Can sweeteners be added to tea without it compromising the nutrient values? Thanks so much for your time and input. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Hi Dorothy! It's wonderful to hear about your love for morning lemon water and the benefits you've experienced from it. Lemon water with stevia or honey sounds like a refreshing and healthy way to start your day. It's great that it provides you with energy and mental clarity. Regarding your lymph nodes, it's always a good idea to keep an open line of communication with your physician and monitor any changes or concerns. As for the dandelion tea, fresh dandelions from your yard can be a fantastic source of nutrients. You can make your own tea by steeping the leaves or roots in hot water. Feel free to experiment with different combinations of herbs or add a natural sweetener like stevia or honey to enhance the flavor without compromising the nutrient value. Please feel free to arrange a meeting with me so that we may talk about your health and well-being objectives and discuss your questions in more detail bit.ly/3EmExdU
I have been having lemon water to. I put little chunks with peel in my water and been adding some cucumber pieces. It’s very good and refreshing now in the hot weather. I am trying to drink more water in general and this helps to achieve that.

Do people ever drink a blend of dandelion and nettle tea? Is there anything wrong (or unpleasant) about that? I watch a lot of nutritional and health-related videos and just discovered yours recently. I'm already a big fan 🙂
Yes, people do drink a blend of dandelion and nettle tea. In fact, it is quite popular due to its many health benefits. There is nothing inherently wrong or unpleasant about it, although it may have a slightly bitter taste. Thank you for watching my videos and being a fan! Let me know if you have any other questions.
I bought some nettle tea about a year ago, had no idea what it was for but I just love tea! Having recently been diagnosed with lymphedema & paying a visit to a therapy center, I found myself wondering just what more I can do to address this malady buz, guess what, NOTHING was mentioned about diet changes &, of the 10 items listed here, I absolutely KEEP 8 of them in my home & will be incorporating them into my daily regime starting, like, today! A lot of these are on my list for taking for general health mainly related to inflammation, but some of the characteristics that garlic and dandelion, have in particular or higher pH balance instead of being more acidic, which is also conducive to gut health
Thanks for sharing your insights! You're absolutely right that garlic and dandelion can offer various health benefits, including their potential to support gut health due to their alkaline properties. Maintaining a balanced pH level in the body is indeed crucial for overall well-being, and incorporating these foods into your diet can be a great way to promote a healthy gut environment. Could you speak on the Benefit of Purified Ox Bile for the Lymph system.. I had my gallbladder removed and years later I was told by a doctor that I should be taking Bile. How does Bile benefit the body and especially in relation to Lymphedema? Thank so much.
Purified ox bile can help improve digestion and aid in the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, which is important after the removal of the gallbladder. Bile also plays a role in the lymphatic system by aiding in the transport of waste and toxins out of the body. However, there isn't sufficient evidence to support the use of purified ox bile for lymphedema. It's best to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the most appropriate treatment for your specific condition.
Hi there, I also had my gal bladder removed and have started taking 500mg TUDCA about 45 minutes after my most nutritiously dense meal of the day which has been far more effective for me than ox bile salts were. I’ve seen major improvements in hair, skin, nails and most importantly, waste removal! I highly recommend the TUDCA supplement for my fellow gallys.

Hi i really enjoyed your video, im new to the lymphatic system and love to research. I am also a person who loves natural remedies. I regularly consume the majority of these, im new to dandelion and have not tried nettle. I do have a question about the cranberry though , know most juices have sugar but i have found some that don't and are actually on the bitter side. Are those ok because I don't find cranberries aside from Thanksgiving time or the sugary dried fruit. Thanks look forward to hearing from you 😊
Hi Viridian! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and are exploring natural remedies! You're absolutely right about choosing unsweetened cranberry juice. The bitter taste is a good sign that it's the real deal without added sugars. Keep up the great work on incorporating these natural options into your routine. Your body will thank you! Interesting! I normally take turmeric daily, but had stopped and have been dealing with swollen feet ever since. I just started looking into lymphatic massage, and after doing one yesterday, I felt a little nauseous and lightheaded, so it's time to get serious. Thank you for the information. Subscribed!
@MizJilly I'm glad you found the information interesting! Turmeric can have beneficial effects, and it's worth considering reintroducing it into your daily routine if it has previously helped with swollen feet. Lymphatic massage can also be beneficial for promoting healthy lymph flow, but it's important to listen to your body's response. Feeling nauseous and lightheaded after a massage session could indicate a need for caution or adjusting the intensity. I take electrolyte powder too. In my body it has a lot to do with uric acid. I did not know about bromelin. I do have that as a supplement, which I have not been taking much. I will see if it makes a difference.
It sounds like you are already taking steps to support your health and manage your symptoms. Bromelain may also be a helpful supplement to consider, and I'm glad to hear you have it on hand. Remember to speak with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplements, especially if you have any medical conditions or are taking any medications. Best of luck!
Thank you for this list. At 74, I've just been diagnosed with lymphoeda in both legs/ankles post breast cancer/node clearance surgery 22 years ago. I also have angiomyolipomas on both kidneys, one on each. Would dandelion tea harm my kidneys please. I am in the UK.
@janettidswell2092 You're welcome, and I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. @@NaturalHealthResources Thank you, I will have a look at that. I have just bought a vibrating plate machine specifically for lymphatic drainage and must use it on a low setting only for 1 to 3 minutes twice a day. I'm hoping it will help. I also have a handlebar stepping machine which I have stopped using for now. Feel quite sad that I'm on a long NHS waiting list at a local hospice where the lymphoedema nurses are - they cannot tell me when I'm likely to be seen. It is a progressive condition so I'm not getting the self-management plan the NHS website says they provide after diagnosis. This is a ticking time bomb which the powers that be need to heed.
It is important to consult with your healthcare provider before adding any new supplement or herb to your routine, especially if you are taking medication. They can advise you on any potential interactions or contraindications with your medication, including Losartan and dandelion.
I have a serious question. Would these dietary changes help in a case where you’ve had to have some lymph nodes removed due to cancer? If you have lymphedema in the leg due to removal of some lymph nodes in the groin, can lymphatic drainage be improved or is that something that just cannot be reversed?
If you've had lymph nodes removed due to cancer, it's important to consult with me bit.ly/3EmExdU before making any dietary changes. Dietary changes might still have a positive impact on overall health, but they may not directly affect the lymphedema caused by node removal. Lymphedema management often involves specialized treatments and therapies.
I will be adding the dandelion tea. I didnt see green tea on the list?. Cranberry juice has sugar. What other way if I cant get to the cranberry spread. Will cranberry sauce help?

It's astounding to me how little the lymphatic system is discussed in both medical and naturopathic circles. There are some who talk about it, but for the most part it is overlooked and underappreciated. It is, after all, only THE most important function of filtration, detoxification, purification and healing in the entire human body. There is more lymph fluid than blood in the human body for a reason. Dr. Samuel West was a pioneer for health, healing and lymphatics in this field. Keep that lymph moving always to assure optimal health and healing. Thank you to this amazing woman for being on top of it. Bravo!

Hi I just watched the 10 powerful foods video. Did you introduce the food in order of best to last or are they all equal in their ability to help the Lymph system?
They are all good , find a way to incorporate them into your meal plan

Subscribed!
@MizJilly
I'm glad you found the information interesting!

I use dandlion extract, polyporous extract, suck on fresh ginger, drink ginger tea, take a black garlic supplement or eat garlic in fat yoghurt, listen to edema/lymph and kidney frequencies.
@janettidswell2092
You're welcome, and I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. It's important to be cautious when considering new remedies or treatments, especially if you have existing health conditions. Dandelion tea is generally considered safe for consumption,

Thank you
You're welcome
I was told because I take Losartan for blood pressure I should not use dandelion of any kind. Is this true?
It is important to consult with your healthcare provider before adding any new supplement or herb to your routine, especially if you are taking medication. They can advise you on any potential interactions or contraindications with your medication, including Losartan and dandelion.
This is good to know. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
I have a serious question. Would these dietary changes help in a case where you’ve had to have some lymph nodes removed due to cancer? If you have lymphedema in the leg due to removal of some lymph nodes in the groin, can lymphatic drainage be improved or is that something that just cannot be reversed?
There are some good massage videos to help.
I recommended unsweetened cranberry juice concentrate, which is more concentrated and can be diluted with water according to your taste.
Thanks for your video ❤
