Thank you very much for your dedication, understanding and never ending support! Can you, please, advise on a few issues:
I have diabetes so I am afraid to eat pineapple because it’s loaded with sugar. If I have it occasionally will it help? The same thing with citrus fruit. I love all citrus fruits but eat only grapefruit and lemon.
Is camomile tea and dandelion tea the same? I think it’s the same, but can you confirm please? I have camomile tea every day, sometimes 2 times a day just because I love it hot or iced with lemon.
      Many thanks in advance!

It's astounding to me how little the lymphatic system is discussed in both medical and naturopathic circles. There are some who talk about it, but for the most part it is overlooked and underappreciated. It is, after all, only THE most important function of filtration, detoxification, purification and healing in the entire human body. There is more lymph fluid than blood in the human body for a reason. Dr. Samuel West was a pioneer for health, healing and lymphatics in this field. Keep that lymph moving always to assure optimal health and healing. Thank you to this amazing woman for being on top of it. Bravo!

Yes a rebounder is the way to go for lymphatic drainage. It is the gravity of going up and down that helps with the drainage. You don't even need to do high jumps. Just keep your feet planted on the mat with slight bended knees and bounce on the spot for some minutes. I also do some jumping jacks. I'm glad I got a good make of rebounder with bungee springs as it is silent and won't disturbe my flat neighbours!

Hi. I am a GA girl! And I love my morning lemon water, sweetened with organic stevia or local natural honey. To me, it's like a summer in a glass morning treat. I enjoy it before my breakfast. I juice 1/2 a lemon, added to 8 oz. room temp. water. I add 5 drops of liquid stevia or 1/2 pkt. of stevia powder. Sometimes I add ginger (fresh or ground), or cinnamon (fresh from stick, or ground), or turmeric (ground).
I have found that it gives me so many benefits like a morning coffee. I tend to get cysts when I consume coffee, but not with my lemonade. It clears the morning brain fog, and energizes me.
Since I was a child, my lymph nodes have always been large and lumpy, especially in the bend of my elbows and back of both knees. Sometimes they swell and get sore. I've addressed this with my physician, he agrees that they are larger than normal, but assures me that my 'numbers' are good from my blood tests panel so I shouldn't worry about it. That's when I have begun researching and learning about the lymphatic system. And so, in my research, I stumbled upon this video of yours. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching about the different herbs and foods.
One last thing....I have recently become aware of the magnitude of nutrients dandelions gives us. I have tried the store bought tea, and it didn't taste good. Can you recommend some ways to use dandelions. We have fresh dandelions growing in our yard, and we don't use any sprays on the yard, as our yards are pasture land. Can sweeteners be added to tea without it compromising the nutrient values? Thanks so much for your time and input. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hi Dorothy! It's wonderful to hear about your love for morning lemon water and the benefits you've experienced from it. Lemon water with stevia or honey sounds like a refreshing and healthy way to start your day. It's great that it provides you with energy and mental clarity.
Regarding your lymph nodes, it's always a good idea to keep an open line of communication with your physician and monitor any changes or concerns. As for the dandelion tea, fresh dandelions from your yard can be a fantastic source of nutrients. You can make your own tea by steeping the leaves or roots in hot water. Feel free to experiment with different combinations of herbs or add a natural sweetener like stevia or honey to enhance the flavor without compromising the nutrient value.
Please feel free to arrange a meeting with me so that we may talk about your health and well-being objectives and discuss your questions in more detail bit.ly/3EmExdU

Could you speak on the Benefit of Purified Ox Bile for the Lymph system.. I had my gallbladder removed and years later I was told by a doctor that I should be taking Bile. How does Bile benefit the body and especially in relation to Lymphedema? Thank so much.

    • @NaturalHealthResources
      @NaturalHealthResources  Год назад +3

Purified ox bile can help improve digestion and aid in the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, which is important after the removal of the gallbladder. Bile also plays a role in the lymphatic system by aiding in the transport of waste and toxins out of the body. However, there isn't sufficient evidence to support the use of purified ox bile for lymphedema. It's best to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the most appropriate treatment for your specific condition.

I'm glad you found the information interesting! Turmeric can have beneficial effects, and it's worth considering reintroducing it into your daily routine if it has previously helped with swollen feet. Lymphatic massage can also be beneficial for promoting healthy lymph flow, but it's important to listen to your body's response. Feeling nauseous and lightheaded after a massage session could indicate a need for caution or adjusting the intensity.

It sounds like you are already taking steps to support your health and manage your symptoms. Bromelain may also be a helpful supplement to consider, and I'm glad to hear you have it on hand. Remember to speak with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplements, especially if you have any medical conditions or are taking any medications. Best of luck!

Thank you for this list. At 74, I've just been diagnosed with lymphoeda in both legs/ankles post breast cancer/node clearance surgery 22 years ago. I also have angiomyolipomas on both kidneys, one on each. Would dandelion tea harm my kidneys please. I am in the UK.

You're welcome, and I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. It's important to be cautious when considering new remedies or treatments, especially if you have existing health conditions. Dandelion tea is generally considered safe for consumption,
I recommend you check out my masterclass on LYMPHATIC FLOW.If you suffer from pain, swelling, or fluid retention, learning how to stimulate lymphatic flow can provide significant relief and improve overall health. www.letyourlymphflow.com/

@@NaturalHealthResources Thank you, I will have a look at that. I have just bought a vibrating plate machine specifically for lymphatic drainage and must use it on a low setting only for 1 to 3 minutes twice a day. I'm hoping it will help. I also have a handlebar stepping machine which I have stopped using for now. Feel quite sad that I'm on a long NHS waiting list at a local hospice where the lymphoedema nurses are - they cannot tell me when I'm likely to be seen. It is a progressive condition so I'm not getting the self-management plan the NHS website says they provide after diagnosis. This is a ticking time bomb which the powers that be need to heed.

I was told because I take Losartan for blood pressure I should not use dandelion of any kind. Is this true?

It is important to consult with your healthcare provider before adding any new supplement or herb to your routine, especially if you are taking medication. They can advise you on any potential interactions or contraindications with your medication, including Losartan and dandelion.

I have a serious question. Would these dietary changes help in a case where you’ve had to have some lymph nodes removed due to cancer? If you have lymphedema in the leg due to removal of some lymph nodes in the groin, can lymphatic drainage be improved or is that something that just cannot be reversed?

If you've had lymph nodes removed due to cancer, it's important to consult with me bit.ly/3EmExdU before making any dietary changes. Dietary changes might still have a positive impact on overall health, but they may not directly affect the lymphedema caused by node removal. Lymphedema management often involves specialized treatments and therapies.

I recommended unsweetened cranberry juice concentrate, which is more concentrated and can be diluted with water according to your taste.
