"Muay Thai Training - Developing World Class Striking" is from none other than multiple times Muay Thai World Champion, globally renowned striking coach and head instructor of K-Star Legacy Muay Thai in Birmingham Damien Trainor. In this video taken from the full length volume he goes through some of the ways he likes to coach how to knee effectively with his students.
    An instructor who has a huge social media following, and for good reason, people in the know all around the world are keen to stay up to speed with the constant stream of amazing coaching tips and advice he puts out. Developing someone from a being a novice with no martial arts experience through to becoming an athlete with world class striking is no easy or straightforward task though. Damien has formulated his own system of fundamental Muay Thai training over the years to ensure that he can achieve just this aim.

    Technique Development. An in-depth look at the mechanics and methods behind the delivery of all fundamental Muay Thai striking techniques.
    Solo Training. A complete framework for training solo as a complete beginner or as a coach instructing others in a tier based system of striking development.

    Blending Ranges. How to seamlessly transition from one range to another whilst remaining effective with your strikes and defence during shadow boxing, pad work and sparring.

    Power Pad Work. A multitude of different pad work drills to develop your power at every range and increase your speed of recovery.
    Low Kicks. How to develop power and frequency with the low kick in pad work and then how to use it repeatedly to deal with aggressive strikers in sparring or fighting.
    Defend & Counter. Learn the road map for ensuring your defence is tight and effective from day one with Damien’s framework of progressions for countering attacks.
    Give & Take. Attack and defend drills you can utilise with a partner to allow you both to work on different systems during the same training session.
    Sparring. How to introduce sparring and take it a point where you can spar confidently with anyone in the gym through a series of isolation drills.
