Adding more mobility sounds great; plodding around in circles to kite zeds on high difficulty could feel repetitive. I would love it if they identified the "good" kiting routes in a map and added in destructible terrain so that the same path could not be used repeatedly like in KF2.
Thing is, it was always fun kiting in this game compared to uh.. well… cod?. Lmao… people brainlessly love that game tho. Get what you mean but yeah no kiting in this game def felt different and was never actually bad tbh.
Compared to the level of detail they went into for kf2 gun design, its truly a let down to see “realistic space gun” design, it goes with the direction of the environment they chose which makes sense but just not as satisfying being in a scifi when it could easily feel real using an ak47. Also i hope they get some feedback from others that the movement is a little clunky for a modern fps. Still super excited for it I’m just a big critic bc I’m a big fan, cant wait to kill some zeds with the shotguns bc they actually look satisfying to use.
It wasn't just that? @@friendlyreaper9012 higher difficulty did have mob behavior/spawn changes, but it was also just higher damage and increased health as well, which got boring after a while.
I see what you mean. They did it pretty well in KF2, we just want enemies to take reasonable damage, while scaling the difficultly via better and adaptive AI, and real difficulty over something cheap
KF2 had possibly the best difficulty mechanics in a game of its type. From the lowest difficulty to the highest, the health of enemies went up by about 2x. That's really not a lot, and it certainly didn't make them "bullet spongey". You know what DID increase enemy health by quite a bit? More players. A difficulty 1 match with 6 players would have higher health enemies than a Hell on Earth difficulty match solo. No, enemies didn't really scale their health much by difficulty. What they did scale by to the high heavens was numbers, aggressiveness, speed, and movesets. Attacks didn't just do more damage at higher difficulties; they added multi-hit combos, strings of rapid attacks, would charge in to hit you, would dip and dodge your fire, etc. Enemy BEHAVIOR changed far more than enemy health did.

Early 2025 can't wait. And we have kf1 darkness in kf3. I hope they add perks you want to play to any characters and mode for perks with characters hero based mode, missions objectives, endless wave, zed and humans, new perks. And to bring classic kf1 and kf2 characters like soldiers, cops and skully and Miss For... Chicken skin all of them.
Oh boy. KF2 stole thousands of hours from me. Like a moth drawn to light, KF3 and myself will be meeting and I can’t wait. It’s been years since I’ve thought about this. Tripwire supports their games for years with free maps, guns, and it’s always worth every penny. Can’t wait.
I want to say this... WHY does no one take Left for Dead 2 as inspiration for gore and feeback??? I mean come on?!!! LFD2 has the best tear and impact feedback that would suit Killing Floor PERFECTLY!!! KF3 weapons look and feel cheap and underpowered?
I don't think so, to be honest early access KF2 was miles better than what it ended up as. Half the arsenal didn't feel like badly made modded guns and copypaste sci-fi slop bullshit, the maps actually fit the theme rather than being yet more high-tech hallways with glowy lights everywhere. And ALL the guns feel like peashooters in terms of sound design and weird wobbly animations compared to KF1. But the monetization is also a huge contributor to why I have zero faith in this game and the company behind it. They've showcased that they're willing to scam their audience and skip out on quality for a quick buck, which they will absolutely do. The shooting in this video feels even less punchy.
The reason why I had the amount of hours I did for killing floor 2 was the satisfaction of shooting the hordes. If that is all in check, this game is gonna rock.
If there's any game I personally love the weapon design of, it would be SAS 4's (by ninjakiwi) weapon suite, top down zombie shooter, explosives galore, bouncing disc-shooters and electrical arc weapons that acted like the ghostbusters ray, alongside the uniqueness of things such as the microwave gun. Medic in KF2 was pretty fun to play, managing both killing zeds and the health of your teammates was a nice balance, although I am a worried if the likeability of the class will be reduced given that the appeal of playing medic in KF2 was to combat the permanence of being dead any given round, if that is gone, hopefully the nuance of reviving players will be dedicated // biased to the medic.
along with when will we start to see some more recent footage? It's all pre-alpha I assume they have advanced a good bit since when these original gameplay shots where taken. Could be completely wrong but i bet its looking a good bit more sharp now even though this pre alpha footage looks quite crisp.
I've been dying for a ultra violent wave survivor for a while now. No game but the old cod zombies and kf2 has been able to top that. Hope this game comes out unscathed.
this game looks so good that I belive even cod black ops producers (activision) should learn from them. Cant wait to play this game, its on my wishlist steam months, well done to devs.
The movement and gun customization to me is the best part about this, not even the visuals. KF2 not really boring really fast because all the guns were always the same and the movement was VERY basic.
Very true, mobility was the one thing that lack in kf2. Just basic normal running, using the double barrel shotgun for extra jump height and jumping on top of scakes and fleshpounds.
i really like how they've added more mobility for the players this time around as i did find kf2 to have instances where you just basically HAD to face-tank damage. i'm just hoping this doesn't turn out to be another payday 3.
Cant believe ik saying this, but its too gorry... its like red paint everywhere. And the gruesemness is a little over the top. Idk maybe im getting old. Or maybe because of the highly emproved graphics, things are starting to get a little too real.
Not bad but they should add a hub where players can trade attachment, weapons and resources needed to craft. Then go on expeditions to gather that would be sick
I may not have KF... But I do have KF2... Since I have played KF2 for a long time... And I'm seeing this KF3 seeing 2 new characters, new weapons, and mods... Things are just getting interesting, and I finally want to see crows be crawling around the ceiling and fleshpounds... Breaking through the door and shooting zeds parts off and like 💪 and 🦵 off including there heads... I'm excited and waiting for killing floor 3 And my favorite weapon this may sound small. i like pistol guns. Don't mind me, but I still recommendly use big guns Additional... I hope they keep 6 player co-op. I hope I see everyone there And k f three is like illustration of DOOM and COD including B4B
Zombies and their variety are good but the matter is what kinds of mode will be there. How about this is? Alpha team vs Beta Team vs Zed a.k.a killingfloor's 땅따먹기 With proceeding 1~3 waves, alpha team and Beta team can collect zed virus vaccine and after 1~3 waves that a team completed to gather vaccines, the team can make zed team as "Ally" and zed and the human team will defeat the other team within short wave(May be 1~2 waves) If a member od human team who got all vaccines is taken down by the other team, they can revive as Zed to revenge until the enemy team will be wiped out. And Original mode is "Survival" as known as Battle Ground; Each players is enemies to each other while zeds are attacking survivals. Survivals will get basic weapons at the beginning and by killing each other and zeds, they can acquire Doshes as currency and exp for level up. In this mode, if there is Zed rush waves, it will be awesome!
This game coming out in March 2025 kinda bums me out but I'll be a bit more patient since they haven't really broken course on timelines unlike other major game studios. Between this and a couple of other games I want to get into next year, I'm excited. Haven't played games seriously in 4 years.
Love the game but always fail to get into the gameplay loop, since the horde is so strong, I always hunk down and just shooting at the endless horde, which really make thing boring. But now it seems like moving is the way to go, I might pick this up when it release

LFD2 had set, predesigned areas of body gore using elliptical masks. KF3 has dynamic body modification.
Just able to hear gary busey help you on the 2nd one for Christmas was fun and funny
The crawlers now will for sure trigger arachnophobia for some haha
I missed KF2 but wished I could play KF1. Now eventually all of us brothers will get to play KF3!
Bro that looks absolutely sick, i love the direction! I have been playing KF since 1 so that is gonna be SICK!
It boils down to how they monetize the game. KF2 was amazing, but man did they fuck up on the monetization.
Yea zero MTX is the way forward. Id rather spend my money on physical goods than on useless digital shit lol
@@MagnitudePerson If a game has MTX I skip it.
@@b.w.s3165 free weapons being HRG copypastas was shameful and sad
I hated the obnoxious cosmetics and celebrations, they killed my experience
1:17 That's the best sentence mankind has ever produced
whats the graphic card minimum requirement will be?
I'm really curious what they have planned for their OST. The set they had in KF2 were absolute bangers.
Man i just need a closed alpha or beta already.
along with when will we start to see some more recent footage? It's all pre-alpha I assume they have advanced a good bit since when these original gameplay shots where taken. Could be completely wrong but i bet its looking a good bit more sharp now even though this pre alpha footage looks quite crisp.
Definitely liking the move towards mobility.
Flesh pound looks like they took some inspiration from the Kool aid man for this one lol
Looks great. Huge step in terms of gameplay.
so this is like how killing floor 2 started to take advantage of the next equipment avibale
DUDE WHEN DOES THIS COME OUT
I've been dying for a ultra violent wave survivor for a while now. No game but the old cod zombies and kf2 has been able to top that. Hope this game comes out unscathed.
My only issue right now is the animation quality, I'm hoping they get fixed and active ragdolls get added closer to release
But have they mentioned if they're removing specialists from the game and reinstating perks as a class?
i just want character creation/customization would really give players a reason to keep coming back to unlock stuff for thier character
That gore ❤
this game looks so good that I belive even cod black ops producers (activision) should learn from them. Cant wait to play this game, its on my wishlist steam months, well done to devs.
It's Beautiful
The movement and gun customization to me is the best part about this, not even the visuals. KF2 not really boring really fast because all the guns were always the same and the movement was VERY basic.
KF3 looks like a nice upgrade for sure!
Very true, mobility was the one thing that lack in kf2. Just basic normal running, using the double barrel shotgun for extra jump height and jumping on top of scakes and fleshpounds.
Genuinely hyped for this game... Make gaming great again...
Looks like a cool upgrade from KF2...I really hope they will also give Red Orchestra a Third Part :)
i really like how they've added more mobility for the players this time around as i did find kf2 to have instances where you just basically HAD to face-tank damage. i'm just hoping this doesn't turn out to be another payday 3.
Can someone tell the devs to make a variety for blood splatter and make it like when shot blood on the wall can be animated like serious sam 3.
Hot take! I'm not a fan of futuristuc weapon, but kets face it. Imma get this game either way.
This is something i imagine when someone says bigger and better. Bigger maps, more enemies and even game mechanics? Bonkers
Cant believe ik saying this, but its too gorry... its like red paint everywhere. And the gruesemness is a little over the top. Idk maybe im getting old.
Or maybe because of the highly emproved graphics, things are starting to get a little too real.
Definitely looking forward to trying out the new features.
is there more charactersAdded ? or character creation?
i really hop they remove this specialist system i wanna play foster and be a gunslinger ffs
I hope they add more to the gameplay loop. Can't wait 😁
Been waiting for this, played both prior games, still do.
I just hope they don’t nerf the gore
For how early the game is in development this looks promising
But did we get specializations back? I dont want a hero shooter Dx
Not bad but they should add a hub where players can trade attachment, weapons and resources needed to craft. Then go on expeditions to gather that would be sick
You guys better add weapon customization I swear to god that’s all this game needs
looking forward to more complex levels
despite it is no longer KF core gameplay but rather a hero shooter... it still kinda badass
Would be nice to as a engineer to put up small barriers or barricades to block them if it gets to much
I’m so pumped about literally everything except the specialist system and the possible monetization behind it
They need to let players build maps..
Put a map builder in the game
I going for sure buy that game when it is released. Finaly good metal music and blood multiplayer
I'm excited and waiting for killing floor 3
And my favorite weapon this may sound small. i like pistol guns. Don't mind me, but I still recommendly use big guns
Additional... I hope they keep 6 player co-op. I hope I see everyone there
And k f three is like illustration of DOOM and COD including B4B
Zombies and their variety are good but the matter is what kinds of mode will be there.
How about this is?
Alpha team vs Beta Team vs Zed a.k.a killingfloor's 땅따먹기
With proceeding 1~3 waves, alpha team and Beta team can collect zed virus vaccine and after 1~3 waves that a team completed to gather vaccines, the team can make zed team as "Ally" and zed and the human team will defeat the other team within short wave(May be 1~2 waves)
If a member od human team who got all vaccines is taken down by the other team, they can revive as Zed to revenge until the enemy team will be wiped out.
And
Original mode is "Survival" as known as Battle Ground;
Each players is enemies to each other while zeds are attacking survivals. Survivals will get basic weapons at the beginning and by killing each other and zeds, they can acquire Doshes as currency and exp for level up. In this mode, if there is Zed rush waves, it will be awesome!
So basicly doom with other Style/models and altered gameplay?
If it's not made for a "modern audience" that doesn't exist and that will probably be good
Just say some racist shit. We all know that's what you mean.
This game coming out in March 2025 kinda bums me out but I'll be a bit more patient since they haven't really broken course on timelines unlike other major game studios. Between this and a couple of other games I want to get into next year, I'm excited. Haven't played games seriously in 4 years.
where is zed time? is it in the game
Love the game but always fail to get into the gameplay loop, since the horde is so strong, I always hunk down and just shooting at the endless horde, which really make thing boring. But now it seems like moving is the way to go, I might pick this up when it release
I miss the beefy feeling to the weapons from the first game, I dont know why they would remove that
No more perk guns?
No more perks. Its a specialist/hero based system. No perk system = no perk weapons. Massive stepback
@@INF2.160 but at list a single character Will be a firebug, another single character Will be a swat, etc. Am I right?
@@andressaniba from what I remember, yep pretty much. Also, doesnt seem to be any melee or atleast they havent shown any melee weapons. Just hitting people with the stock of the gun
Wish they had an SP mode, I don't have friends.
It has sp
Looks like the zeds are not even trying to kill you...they move so slow
