My Favorite Flash Accessory // JCC STANDARD HOTSHOE ADAPTER

Just needed to make a video this week so in this one I share one of my favorite flash accessories, the JCC standard hot shoe adapter with multiple inputs & outputs. Mine has the hot foot, as well as the hot shoe, PC sync port, and 3.5mm port. You can also buy it without the hot foot for a few dollars more. It’s available on Amazon for only about $10 USD. Thanks for sharing, such a simple and cheap solution for adapting the godox trigger to any type hot shoe 😎👍, now I can use my Nikon x2t on my friends Lumix s5 (hope it will work) if not, it's only $13 .. no biggie 😁

No, it would need a center pin or a PC sync port. Doesn’t appear that camera has either of those. Thanks for watching!

Would a flash work, mounted on this? I have a film camera and I was wondering if I could connect a pc sync cable to the hot shoe adapter to trigger a flash.

Hi thanks for the video . There are two version modals which i found in the web. JJC-9 and JJC-8. Which one should i get for off and on flash trigger ?

Hi thanks for watching! The 8 is what I have shown in the video. It has a single pin connector on the shoe that allows pass through from the cameras hot shoe. The 9 does not have a single pin pass through connector but rather has a 1/4”-20 threaded hole to mount to a clamp or light stand or something like that. Hope that helps!

Do you know if that would work on a Canon Rebel SL3 and a Pulsar wireless trigger? The hot shoe on the Canon is not a centerpin connection (I’ve learned it the hard way after purchasing a bowens lighting set)

Not sure, though not likely if the camera’s hot shoe does not have the standard center pin. If it does have a standard center pin, it should work regardless of how many other TTL data pin connectors it has.
