Fantastic job Tyler. Fancy a weekend away with the boys with 4WD'ing being the hero. Not drinking, not talking shit, not campfires or even cooking. Just good old driving, planning your line and enjoying company with friends. I would drive with you anytime. Cannot wait for Part 2.
Great work, all the vehicles did really well on extremely difficult tracks, and the nav seems to have really good crawl capabilities very impressive, enjoyed watching, looking forward two part two........
Love this channel way Better then the others, covers a lot more aspects and the videos show more of what’s going on, it’s not all about the channel hosts, even the cooking segments are better, new subscriber here, binge watching all the videos.....thanks from nz
Just got my first 4x4 recently 2001 Pajero, not the ducks nuts but good enough to learn, in Coffs local, been out England’s a few times but yet to hit that 3 bears trail, it’s epic. Love the vids mate.
Yeah the NAV! Watching all your videos from the beginning, love your content and this is definitely the best yet! Hopefully I'm getting my navara end of this year 💪
At 34k views, not sure why there isn't 33,300 more likes.. come on crew, help the man out - this was epic and he clearly ran several marathons up and down the hills to film it for us. Smash that button. Stay safe dude, last thing you need is a maxtrax to the head, even 10+m back!
Great video. That Hilux looks like it has 1mm of down travel at static ride height. It would probably do a lot better if the front end was cranked down a bit.
Yeah he's going to get it sorted this week mate, not something you notice when you're driving it but then easy to see when you get it filmed in slo motion haha
Tyler, if you don’t hug the lantana on the creek drive at the end it’s all bad. Went up there just after New Years. 15mins from my place. You could’ve crashed here. Plenty or room for swags, water views by the pool and a dedicated beer fridge. Have a look at beers gears & LowRange for the creek drive
Yep we had a bit of trouble on that bit of the creek drive in part two haha we tried to hug the lantana but myself and ryan both slipped in, Dad was the only one who managed to hold the line
With your old mans Mux I think you need to turn traction control back on after you select low range... just a thought might be worth a try if hasn’t already tried. Great vid hanging for part two 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Mate !! That Navara surprised the heck out of me. With the mods you have done it has make your Ute a heavyweight contender in the off road department. Respect ✊.
Mate love your videos, got a nav my self with all the bells and whistles including front locker and id still be scared attempting commando, would love to get up there later in the year
That was wicked, great driving by all. Can tell the video doesn’t do it justice as to how steep it would be in person. Bet you had to stay hydrated with all the nervous sweating going on 😂
Great video mate! Love it. That Lux's front end looks shagged haha. And the poor vd dust buster sounds terrible if your infront of the exhaust, probably be the fuel pump/injectors, but it sounds shagged hahaha
Another narly track video Tyler. I really enjoy watching your adventures. Good to see you all set up now in your new Navara. Does the Mux have any difflocks?
Hey mate, nope I don't keep any maps but Commando trail is on google maps I'm pretty sure, its on Mount Coramba. And Three Bears comes straight off New Englands Road, couple of kms up it on the right, can't miss it
Thanks mate, sure was! We were looking at that before. He said it started when he put the 33's and new suspension in but he also said he took the front sway bar out, so I'm thinking thats why? Because the front has lost all its stabilisation with no sway bar?
@@TylerThompson90 I doubt it would be the sway bar. That has no effect on the alignment. How big is the lift? I'm not the greatest with IFS but I'm thinking more likely a steering arm or control arm issue.
@@TylerThompson90 If it is 3" & he didn't do the control arms & steering arms I'd definitely be thinking that's where the problem is. Could be it needs a diff drop to bring the axles & cv's back into line to. Tell him to throw it on stands & just make sure nothing is bent or flogged out before sending it to a specialist. Hopefully it doesn't cost him too much to get sorted. Again, awesome video mate. Definitely worth the wait 👍👍
another great video as always, good to see a few different cars in the convoy but man do them 70 series cruiser suck off road, no point in a vid v8 if ya can't get up a Little hill ahahah
It might just be the sound on the video mate, couple of people said they over a year ago on an older video but had it check over and couldn't find anything and sounds normal in real life
Whoaaa nicely done. That looked like a hell of a track. 👍😎 Love your Navara-built Tyler, and like to see you enjoy the results of that effort. Why the Cruiser makes those knoking engine noise? Sounds pretty unhealthy to me? Ceep on exploring, greets from 🇩🇪, Björn
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video :). I think it might just be the sound over the camera because it sounds find in real life and he's had it checked over and can't find any issues

Yep I did see the turn off there to Koala trail, looks pretty insane from the vids I've seen but might check it out next time I'm there. Na didn't do 1st and 2nd bears, didn't know they existed haha are they nearby?
@@TylerThompson90 yep, where you enter England's and then turn right at the top, 1st bear is a little side trail on the right, it weaves around some off camber logs and then back to the main track, then 2nd bear is about 50m up and it takes you through a mild rutted left turn and up to a neat little clearing you could camp in if you wanted. And then as you return to the road, 3rd bear is the one you did. :) I've done it twice in my Xj, yet to do it since adding 33s and a front locker.
Fat Guts1971 yeah, i wonder if there is a simple fix for this, Nissan is on top here with this one. Surely its just a simple program change for Toyota.
I saw a vid just the other day where a y62 patrol had a bypass system plugged in that operated the diff lock in high or low range, with or without TC on. Seemed to work great. Could be a fix for toyotas? I am thinking a front locker for my fortuner to overcome the issue, but bypassing the system and engage the rear locker while TC stays on would be a cheaper fix. I think the vid was 4x4 brothers but not sure. I will see if i can find it and post a link in this reply thread.
