The 2nd meal was really creative! And I appreciate that there was no meat in there (except the dilis). Sigarilyas is one of my favorite vegetables ever
i think it’s 20 pesos for a serving. for a family of 4 that’s around 80. which is still not a lot but i think it’s enough for some bigas and tinola lol
Can't help but comment. This is such an interesting and relevant segment. Super duper helpful for our kababayans, plus relevant given the rising prices talaga. huhu. More of these, please.
Very relatable. This is a daily challenge for many filipinos. Love the episode and the first dish. Although the sigarilyas one can't be called sisig if its not sour or soured. Im sure its tasty though.
150 budget meals is crazy, Grabe presyo ngayon! More content like this but make it more realistic. I love the 1st and 3rd dish. But still kudos to the team!! More food & travel featr 2025.
I love all 3 dishes and I have been thinking of adding more dishes to my meal prep and I want to try all 3 especially the 2nd one, The winged string bean sisig looks awesome as I usually just make gising gising for it but that gave me a good idea. I would love to see more of these in a series especially meal prep ideas for 1-2 people.
Thank you for this content! more of this po sana🥰. For me po as a "soloist" kapag nagbabudget ako pang ulam 120-150 for a meal hindi ko na sinasama yung bawang, sibuyas at bigas, I make sure available na yun sa pantry namin.
Mabuti episode! Covered three different meals that look great-different profiles with plenty of gulay! Love that part. The average price per meal (P121) challenge sounds even tougher than this one. Do that!
in my experience na nakailang lipat ng matitirahan in just a year from city to province/small town wala naman maxado pinagkaiba ang presyo sa mga bilihin mahal na talaga ngayon lahat😅
i can cook for two whole caldero of 2 diff ulam for 150 pesos and that is for 6 people tanghalian and hapunan… there are alternative protein source 😊.. that sotanghon menu i can cook that for just 70 pesos… bec a kilo of togue in commonwelth market is just 35 pesos
Remember one bright government body said " If you spend more than P64 for three meals a day, you're no longer considered “food poor.” This was based on the data from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA)
grabe tLaga government. if they can help our agriculture talaga. hays. 20 pesos is too much ano kwek kwek lang? hays. rice and meat palng kulang na. but anyways thanks sa idea for 150 pesos. to more this kind of content pls
These chefs did so well budgeting their ingredients, pero just as they said, ang mahal na ng bilihin. It's not normal, it's kinda sad that the government expect people to eat a 20 peso meal, with disregard to nutrition. Let's not romanticize being madiskarte in this aspect too much because it's unfair that the people are suffering so much from inflated food prices. Please, please vote properly on the next elections, we have to start taking a step towards a better ph.
The fact that the costs of the seasonings, the gas (lpg) and the water used is not yet added...it is still a money down....P20/meal? the govt should take more than a second review... obviously they never suffered nor experienced to be really poor
The 2nd meal was really creative! And I appreciate that there was no meat in there (except the dilis). Sigarilyas is one of my favorite vegetables ever
i really like na may different categories sila for students, family, and solo working/living. more of this please. ❤
Galing ng concept nitong video. Hope this becomes a series po :)
Yes tas mix mix ng pairs and type of dish :)
20 pesos per meal is delusional.
Edit. I love the 3rd dish. Filling, Veg, Protein and no rice.
how can there be love when there is no rice?
The government IS DELUSIONAL.
i think it’s 20 pesos for a serving. for a family of 4 that’s around 80. which is still not a lot but i think it’s enough for some bigas and tinola lol
20 pesos is disrespect to the filipino people..shows the gap of our govt. officials towards the common masses

I love this segment.... another episode of this please. Thanks in advance. 😉
Love all 3 recipes but especially the last one as I have all these in my pantry right now….gonna make it now….thanks.

Glad you enjoyed the veggie recipes!
I think more people should have their own little backyard garden, or if living in urban areas, the plotted plants.
Moreeee. Pambaon sa amin ng kapatid ko. Hahaha.

Sam and Seth, that was creative!

SECOND DISH THE BEST
It's a favorite too!
Chef Martin is my favorite
Can ya'll do more videos around vegetarian cooking?
5:22 TIL: you can use a strainer to strip malunggay leaves QUICKLY 🤯
oil may be a pantry staple but it's an expensive ingredient esp when deep frying
isa pang 150!!!!! or yes yung 121 pesos na per meal pls thank you
EYY HEALTHIER IN 2025 😮
"May di ba ko binayaran?" Bro, I snorted my coffee out off my nose. It hurts! XD
In NZ dollars 💵 it’s $4.56, delusional prices but Seasoning prices are not included though in this segment!👀🤔
🔥
That coffee may potentially be more expensive than the 150 dish 😅
nakapag japanese rice ka pa 😂
grabe tLaga government. if they can help our agriculture talaga. hays. 20 pesos is too much ano kwek kwek lang? hays. rice and meat palng kulang na. but anyways thanks sa idea for 150 pesos. to more this kind of content pls
The government itself set P9000 budget for food but they are paying 6000 for teachers under local government.
tricia chua and bini sheena collab when
🤤
that looks like a kalingag leaf, not laurel. correct me if i'm wrong tho

if sisig bat walang sourness akala ko ba ang sisigan sa kampampangan is to add sourness?
Japanese rice?! Pano napasok sa 150 budget?
💙💙💙🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
suprised that no one got eggs, o pati ba itlog ngayon mahal na?
Mahirap eh budget ngayon ang 150 for a family meal.

ang saya ng may mga allergy
20 pesos per meal lol hotdog cguro na ulam. or siomai na 10 pesos each lol wala pang rice.
Bok choy??? Petchay 'yon 'di ba?
I cannot think of any "healthy Filipino food." Most of it is swimming in oil. I can name a lot, but you know what I mean.
sinigang? dinedng? nilaga? its there if you look.
You know you can trim the fat or use leaner cuts, right?
You cook healthy meals but why All that is cooking is looking unhealthy and out of shape 😅😅😅
OA talaga nitong lalaking naka-black cap!!! Chaka!
