19:27 👈 Best part of the episode 😂 The Gratitude we owe to Panlasang Pinoy! 😊 Saved many 1st timers in the kitchen, and now “partly” contributing to Tadhana’s Michelin recognition. Featr should “Featr” Panlasang pinoy! Looking forward to that video! Kudos to everyone!
16:50 Nakakaproud toh. Full circle moment. Medyo na shock pa si Erwan. As a fan sa mga content ni Erwan at ng FEATR noon pa, para bang si Chef Frances at ang Tadhana ang isa sa mga patunay na malaki yung impact na ginagawa ni Erwan at ng FEATR on showcasing the Filipino cuisine to the world and most importantly sa atin mismo.
This a real gem of an interview....this should make you proud as a Filipino and very humbling and inspiring...Kudos to Erwan and his team at FEATR to showcasing Filipino talents and culture...
Awesome episode! I love Frances energy and how authentic she is to herself. Its people like her and FEATR that is doing their best to highlight Filipino food.
I been watching great contents from way before this channel became FEATR without realizing I was subbed. I did today and I must say the last few episodes were specially worthwhile. Props to the team for producing meticulously curated stories that were unmistakably Filipino but unlike any we’d seen on tv. This is a tv show or so it seems. Keep the content coming. Onwards and forward!
The first time I knew about Chef Frances was on bon appétit as someone who wants to reimagine our native dishes into fine dining cuisines and then in Good Morning America episode 6 months ago. I love how real she is, her grit to achieve everything she has now and the continues success of Tadhana. And now watching here at Featr, my usual YT channel to binge on whenever I stop our Netflix sub hehe. Kudos to you, Chef! Thank you for making Filipino food known to the world!
I'm just starting my career as a casual fine dining chef sa sydney and salamat Chef Frances for that, it was really inspiring. As always, FEATR videos are always award-winning level
Thank you for a heartwarming episode. I have always been a fan of FEATR but stumbled upon Chef Frances in another video somewhere. This episode was such a nice surprise collab, one that felt like home.
Adding chef's resto to my nyc itinerary. So priveleged to be able to travel and I make it a point to try our own cuisines because people need to know how good it is.❤ can't wait for more proud pinoy contents🎉
I'm so stunned by how humble chef frances is, kudos sayo chef 🙏🏻❤️ At kudos sa featr, for featuring this kind of content, I'm a fan talaga🥰🙏🏻❤️ #panlasangpinoy
Hi Erwan, I've been following you for a long time. I love your classic style, very informative and putting Filipino food and culture in a decent high level. I appreciate and love being a filipino watching your videos. Please continue putting pride to our "Filipinoness." But there's one wish i have if I may express it to you. Specially on this video Frances keeps speaking tagalog and I really, really wish that you speak more tagalog and just let your team put a caption of english below. I know you are not so fluent with the language, but it will be more authentic if you speak our own language. Am saying this with love and respect to you. Hope you'll be alble to read my comment and consider this in the future. Love you Erwan, wish you all the best and God bless you more!
Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, tagalog is not my first language. Yes, I grew up in the Philippines, but in an environement that prioritised learning French and English. I didn't choose what languages to learn when I was born, just like you. Yes I'm learning and slowly getting better, but I can't fully be descriptive, express myself and be eloquent in tagalog. Some of these videos require that from me and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to make the story justice if I can't coherently express myself. I hope that explains things a little. - Erwan
Kung nang galing ka sa kitchen na bakbakan ang labanan at maraming nakaka amaze at nakakatawang bagay masarap kausap to si chef frances. Nakakamiss mag work sa resto hehe
Maybe Featr can do a world food trip of Filipino restaurants just like what you do around the Philippines. See how Filipino food adapt to local ingredients and tastes. Say a Pinoy restaurant in Dubai compared to another one in China.

The nod to our moms/titas when they dine out and would say “I can cook that at home” is an homage to our culture as a whole as well! Ganda!!!!! 😂🫶🏻
