Just the sweetest most romantic flower. I have to give this a try for my friend in Connecticut who has huge masses of hydrangea blooming around her house! I hope I can do it justice.
Harriet - you tell Ant that we don’t mind at all hearing you talk about the weather. The sound of that fabulous rainstorm was almost as glorious as watching you paint those beautiful flowers!!! ☺️😉❤️
The colour of the hydrangeas and the technique in the painting of the vase is so clever and effective....what a wonderful tutorial. Thanks Harriet, for another half hour of pure joy and inspiration. Have a great weekend 😁🙏
"A world of grief in pain flowers bloom even then." Given the shocking events in America in the last few days I find a heartsease in the gentle, whimsical beauty of your painting. Truly...thank you.💞
Absolutely Beautiful ❤. There’s something about Eucalyptus that is calming to me, with or without flowers ☺️. Thank you so much for sharing 🤗. From the Piney Woods of East Texas USA
Harriet these flowers are Gorgeous….I don’t know how you do it always teaching us all new things your so patient with Us ….God Bless you I so appreciate you
Sometimes I just go to your videos to just make me happy with your voice❣️Your creations are wonderful! And now that I can draw although guided…it is such a joy to continue with watercolor techniques I’ve learned and know that every painting is individual and unique. Thank you for teaching us well 🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽 Mia
What a lovely experience to watch you paint this, as well as listening to the joy you find in your painting. When we create something beautiful, it encourages our hearts and minds.
Beautifully done! I adore this one. Also, love hearing the rain in the background. It is soft and relaxing. Many thanks for sharing your wonderful skills and delightful personality. I’ve been a follower for a few years as you have always been inspiring and helpful. As of late it seems like you have used your game even more. You are such a joy! Thanks again from the USA!
Love the subtle colours, Harriet! Thanks for sharing techniques for creating mottled glass vase, as well as advice on composition and creating depth with shadow. So much to learn and practise!
Absolutely gorgeous. The colors are so beautiful and antique looking. I'm in love with this tutorial. I'm going to paint this in stages then put it all together to get it right. Thank you 👍 💗 👍
Amazing ❤ love this so much! Thank you Harriet for the great tutorial. And yes the #4 is definitely my workhorse brush. Love your proart brushes. Thank you so much!
Lovely. Visited the Monet Exhibition at Gardens by Bay (Singapore) Saw the lovely hydrangeas and really wanted to paint them, now I can do so with your help. Mamy thanks. God bless.🙂
Really gorgeous, all of it! Love the ethereal quality of the hydrangeas. I wish you'd have shown us a little more of how to fill in the petals between the complete 4-petal blossoms -- did you paint single petals, or 3-petal flowers, or side-angle flowers? And I noticed that you left a narrow white space between all the little flowers, rather than overlapping them and using shading to differentiate. Maybe next time provide a little more explanation on how to do that.
Hi Jane the download link was there on the order page after you checked out. But remember that patrons get four free downloads on the patreon home page
Hello Harriet, I have a problem painting without a reference photo, I would appreciate if you could place a reference photo at the corner of the screen. Thank you.
I always love your tutorials, but it's so hard to see your drawings. Because they are so light period it would be so helpful if you could make them darker and then erase them after we get them drawn period thank you so much for sharing all your talents with us period it's always very helpful. Hi, very often there is no reference, these are compositions I've made in my head. You can always google the individual flowers.

Hi, my drawings are always extremely minimal because we do all the important stuff with the brush.
