So lovely. Thank you for sharing. Could I use hot press paper?
Yes, absolutely! I normally use hot pressed too
Thank you so much for this it is absolutely gorgeous. I see you have a book is it available yet?
It is available for pre-order. Will be released on June!
what would be a good substitute for the green per? i dont have that one. Or how could i make the color would also work
I Googled it and am told you can get a similar Hue from phthalo green and sepia... but I haven't tried it. ❤

My to favorite green mixes are Phthalo Green + Burnt Sienna (or +Sepia) mix with Sepia will be almost the same as perylene green 💚
I don’t know how she gets the outline lines so thin and crisp. Mine just bleed… Wonder what size brush she is using
It comes with practice! I use mostly 6and 8 synthetic brushes by Søstrene Grene
One more ? Is your parang dry when you outline those edges? Thanks!!
👏👏❤❤🍀🍀❤❤👏👏☘☘
Thank you!
Don you have one for digital watercolor
No, I don’t paint digital watercolor ☺️
Pretty effect, but it looks more like fabric than nature. Like a nylon flower because the outline and the folded down parts are darker instead of lighter. In nature the flower would be lighter on the edges where the light catches and darker in the deeper parts and under the folds rather than on top of the turned down edges.
I get what you mean but it's definitely "her" technique, even if it's unrealistic. Bob Ross used to paint clouds on a plain instead of a one point perspective. And now his paintings look "different" to me. But that was definitely "his" technique.
Painting…an interpretation always.
It's a very artistic representation of bluebells, one of the most successful bluebell paintings I have ever seen. Very beautiful and imaginative. If she wanted to make something in a realistic style, she likely could have, or simply just taken a photo. Instead she painted something very unique and special. And she did explain in the video that this is an effect that makes you feel like you can see the complete construction of the flower, which of course, you cannot in real life.
Not meant to be nature, it is supposed to be as an x-ray image of flower would appear.
I think the title says it all…it’s a technique and a beautiful one …❤
