To see your planet which you and your fellow guardsmans fight for break and burn, what would you think then? I'm sure some guardsman saw hopelessness but you know it yourself. If you were to give up and wait for death then every battle and every death would truly have been for naught, so you pick up your lascannon and fight on, inspiring and driving your fellow guardsman ever onwards! You may have lost your planet but you haven't lost Cadia! You now no longer fight for every inch of ground but instead fight for every evac ship saving your comrades and civilians off the planet, and this is why the Planet broke before the guard, it's because you were never fighting for the Planet in the first place, you were fighting for the people, the Imperium behind it, and the Guardsman beside you. Driven only by Faith for the Emperor
P.S. a game based on Cadia would really give me Halo Reach vibes
Really... Necrons... they are the master of this universe *once* , but humans will never give up, when we have "chance" we will do *something*
*Tyranids? Oh not those bugs again...*
Tau? *Dafaq*
“Flesh fails and faith flickers...” holy fuckin cannoli how ominous could you get
So the Necrons stop the immaturium from taking over the material universe?
they are capable yes the necrons are actually one of their greatest threats because alot of their tech was designed from the ground up too combat or negate the effects of the warp as that was the only real tech that worked against the old ones. so potentially however, they failed here and are kinda to busy with war to actually focus of choas
Tj Caranese ironic, the necron hate the warp, they build tech to hold it back. The old ones hate the warp, the make the nids to wipe it clean.

Here’s an idea: make multiple warhammer games that all tie into each other
Mobile candy crush style game: represents the munitorum and how well one player does reflects resources in the other games
PC grand strategy game: it’s your job to direct the fleets to where they need to go as well as developing planets
Gothic Armada: Fleet Battles and convoy escort
RTS: direct troop movements on battlefield scale
FPS: Individual troop movements
I hate that they have the Necrons talk all the time now. The whole "Silent as the Grave" thing is completely overlooked. Didn't they get stripped of the soul and thus all emotion, why the tone? What the hell is with that Necron Lords voice? He's supposed to be a grim fucking reaper!
its just the lords they maintained their character to an extent the rest are mute automoton. its been set in the lore for years now
@@ABorderPrince Isn't that just typical.
That depends on what Dynasty they are. There are some like a silent reaper, like the Necron Lord in DOW 1.
One of the reason why they aren't really much of a threat compared to Tyranids or Chaos, is that different Necron Lords have different agendas; It actually makes sense, they are the most advanced and most intelligent race in Warhammer 40k, it wouldn't make sense if they have no ego or would just love killing everything.
1:51 The Vengeanful Spirit!? No! It just can't be, that ship was destroyed during the Siege of Holy Terra.
No, it disappeared, not destroyed . This is officially the flagship of Abbadon the Dispoiler.

the animation reminds me of good ol' DOS games at times.
it is better to work with the xenos, then let the traitors win. if we must parlay with those willing to get rid of chaos so be it. the emperor protects!
HERESY!
@@ABorderPrince It's heresy either way, and I'd rather not let the Ruinous Powers win.
A good question. The xeno has it own goals, and will only aid so long as chaos remains a larger threat then the Imperium. It means accepting an inevitable betrayal, and in the long run will likely lead to a disaster of equal horror to what we face now. Of-course, you actually have to survive to have a long run to worry about, so perhaps its necessary for now.
The animation when they are talking looks goofy
Cadia broke before the line did. Moment of silence for the fallen, please.
Aghhh the cinematicks in BGA aghhh they always felt so cheep to me ...

Is it heresy If Imperials and Necrons work together?
Oh absolutely it’s heresy, was anyone looking too hard? I think not

I think i found a mistake in the intro... at 4:22 we can clearly see on the left side the chaos marine killing a guardsman. SO we know the black armored marines are enemies right? Wrong. At 4:24 another chaos marine (female) also armored in the same black style is burning one of the demons. Pls correct me if I get something wrong.
There's no female marine, she's a sister of battle
Marrvyns Willames but if she is a sister of battle does that mean she belongs to mankind? Because she is standing next to a chaos marine guy without any worries while simultaneously burning the demon

6:28 can someone explain me why they considered to kill creed?
"Their purpose is revealed: They contain the Eye of Terror. If they are destroyed, the immaterium would claim all. The Imperium would be no more. The pylons must be safeguarded, they are our only weapon against the encroachment of chaos... but I need time to study."
The pylons contain the Eye of Terror and were even closing it when Cadia was destroyed. If Creed told the Archmagos that he was not allowed to study the pylons before Cadia fell, the Archmagos would kill Creed and study them anyways, because that's how the Adeptus Mechanicus deals with fleshbags
@@konac7191 Kell were probably watching Creed's back in that meeting. I doubt Cawl would have made a move against Creed before Kell blowing his head off
Admech is the sole single reason the Imperium has industrial capacity to wage its wars, i.e., survive. Not even Inquisition can step up to them, so if they deem Creed to stand in a way of a mission of such criticality as life or death of the Imperium, you bet they won't give a shit who to slap dead in order to get it done.
