Bought a used HD softail not too long ago and it had the heel shifter on it already. At first i didn't use it at all. Recently I've been working it in slowly. There are still some "glitches", I will reserve my opinion until I give it a good amount of time. At my age (67) its tough to create a new habit. Honestly, I still miss kick start. Thanks guys, good video.

Thanks for the input. It took me some time as well but after you get use to it, it's great. I don't miss kicking anything lol. Tony

Always Remove the Heel shifter. Toe shifter only is just fine for me.
I like being able to slide my foot back on the floorboard from time to time.

I found with the H&T my boot got wedged between the 2. I have to change the angle of my foot. But it's my first, and I wasn't wearing proper boots.

Thanks for the input. We have another video on a fix for that. A swift shifter.
