Whenever I buy fish, I always buy whole fish, and keep the head, and tails for broth. I only use oil to sauté the onions, garlic, carrots, eddoes, ochroes, green bananas, bell peppers, a whole hot pepper, and pumpkin; I then add water, and lets it cook for sometime. When it's almost cooked, I add the seasoned fish, a thinly sliced tomato, and some Golden Ray margarine, and let it cook, until the fish is properly cooked, then I burst the whole, hot pepper to get the flavor. I like my fish broth, just as broth; thin, NOT thick! I've enjoyed watching your friend cooks! Thanks to the both of you; God bless!
Just how my grandmother thought me oil / butter well back then was golden ray that’s frowned upon now lol , cook the tail and head with the mirepoix for a while to get a really good fish flavor I loved his method but I love dumplin in meh fish broth ....
First time making fish broth. Followed your recipe and it came out great. Many thanks Kwesi and Renee. All I have to do now is get my special enamel bowl .😁
Nice video I’m cooking this over the weekend and girl you fine. Kwesi is awesome cooking. I’m from Ghana but lives in France and his name Kwesi is Ghanaian and means he was born on Sunday. My local name is Kwaku born on Wednesday.Kudos guy. I’m subscribing. Just wanna see your recipes and of course your beautiful smile. Greetings from France
Looks delicious! Feel to have some right now!!! However, at the end, when the dish was done the camera should have shown a good close up of the finished product both in the pot and in the soup bowl. Keep up the good work!!!
ive always heard about fish broth my mom n dad are guyanees but we are not..ive never had it... but after seeing this vid.. i will deff try..going suriname soon so wil bring some fresh red snapper .. lots of love from netherlands.
Fish broth without Golden Ray, green fig and a whole green pepper floating in the water cannot be called local. I like this channel btw keep it up guys.

I like one of the finishing touches to be a good squeeze of lime also, I love how he brings out the flavour in the fish
A good squeeze of lime is definitely essential to finish off a fish broth!

Teneisha Timothy dumplings in fish broth?
@Al Person okay
I love dumplings too! But how do you keep the broth from getting too thick? That's always my problem when it comes to soups.
