    My grandpa use to cook really nice fish soup and he would make nice silk dumplings. He passed away last year due to Covid-19 and I regret not sitting in the kitchen learning how to make all my favorite dishes he use to cook. Now I watch these videos hoping to find something similar. My heart hurts so bad and I am disappointed for not connecting to my roots through food. 😔

    That looked delicious! I find this looks very similar to how we Haitians make our fish broth, as well! I did laugh at the teens whom are pros at eating all the dumplings, as mine are too! 😂

    Love eating fish broth but so much work...I literally get anxiety making this...Lol Great job!
    My ex is from Colombia and they infuse coconut milk in theirs...It’s awesome...puts the fish broth on another level.

    Enjoyed the video, hoping to create something similar. My son and I fish and catch reef fish. Two fresh snapper heads with throats and bellies will be used for this soup in a big pot. I am a batchelor so usually my dishes are bagged and frozen for quick nutritious meal. Thank you for sharing...Mark.

    Split the green banana skin then pour hot water in a bowl put them in them split open up easy to peel

      Bandhani aka shadobeni aka Culantro (Eryngium foetidum) is a tropical herb that is popular in many Latin American, Caribbean, and Southeast Asian cuisines. It is also known as recao, long coriander, Mexican coriander, and sawtooth herb.
      Culantro has long, serrated leaves that resemble those of cilantro, but with a stronger flavor and aroma. Its flavor is often described as pungent, citrusy, and slightly bitter, with notes of cilantro, parsley, and sage.
      Cilantro or scallion is a good substitute in this recipe.
