I think this is the most useful video about English learning I've ever seen. Make example sentences personal to you. I used to memorize example sentences from a dictionary, but it was inefficient. I hope making sentences by myself will help.

    1. Learn only what has meaning to you
    2. Active & Passive vocabulary:
    Active:
-writing stories or other things which are personal to you.
-Using a new word several times in several different conversations.
-making your own example sentences.(make it true and personal)
    3. Learn vocabulary in meaningful phrases and sentences: different forms of a new word, collocations.
    4. Regularly review the words you learn: using digital apps like Anki and Quizlet, making flashcards

This technique has literally changed my whole perspective in learning English Vocabularies! I realised that I've been doing the opposite things all this time. I always want to learn words that I will USE but I keep doing the passive learning. Now, I know the right ways. I am very thankful for this video. Every video that I watch in this channel is so important and professional. Thankyou very much!

I try to incorporate new vocabulary in my everyday writing..
I look up unknown word, read its definition, then translate it into a simpler definition and compare it with similar word, then look up example sentences if I am not confident with my understanding of the word, then I try to use the word, then I learn from my error 😀

Your brain throws away the things that it doesn’t need. This is so so so true 😅
I think the English grammar makes no sense at times. I still remember to this day that my english teacher said the English language grammar is crazy.. 😅😅
We have “has, had, and have” and so so many words for just 1 verb..
In the Vietnamese language and Chinese dialects.. we have only 1 word for has which “c’o” and “dieu” and “dau”..
I think people have altered the English grammar as time progresses in history 😀
