You know they both did remarry. They were in love with their spouses. How do think they felt with so many people going about Tammy and George saying Tammy and George still love each other or they should be together, etc. Tammy and George divorced for good reasons. The abuse was too much. When abuse happens, the so called “beautiful” love story turns into a horrible love story. My biological dad abused my mother, my siblings and me. He nearly killed my mom and me when she was pregnant with me. If anyone were to ever say their love story was beautiful my mother would laugh and the tell you exactly how wrong you are.
People really need to stop calling it beautiful when really it was not. Look at their spouses and learn their love stories instead.

My uncle, Jerry Starr, played lead guitar for George back in the '60's. I heard many stories about George! But uncle Jerry always had the utmost respect for him. One thing is for sure ...there will NEVER be another George! What a treasure.

The thousands at this concert were truly blessed. I saw George Jones live in North Bay, Ontario, Canada in my younger days and was awe struck he truly is a legend. To see him and the beautiful Tammy together must be the icing on the cake lucky you. I hope they live for ever.

I just had the opportunity to watch the Showtime series and I could not stop until I watched every episode. These people sang what they lived and this is truly country music. I wish I could say as much about what we're hearing today that they're calling country music so far-fetched😢
