You know they both did remarry. They were in love with their spouses. How do think they felt with so many people going about Tammy and George saying Tammy and George still love each other or they should be together, etc. Tammy and George divorced for good reasons. The abuse was too much. When abuse happens, the so called “beautiful” love story turns into a horrible love story. My biological dad abused my mother, my siblings and me. How lucky to have been born and raised in Tennessee. I would love to have visited nashville to go into George jones museum and Ernest tubbs and Alan Jackson shops. Sad how so many shops and museums have gone. George left a fortune behind and his daughter Georgette was homeless and has now only just bought their first home. Shame on NS, George would have been heart broken knowing how she treated his and Tammy's daughter 😭 jealous women, she soon got Georgette out of his life. Money will not do NS no good. Karma
Tammy's good here singing this with Ole possum! But George Jones is a true 1 of a kind, never to ever be graced with his voice ever again! The Lord don't make those shoes anymore!

Who was more beautiful and distinctive than Tammy Wynette? Not putting anybody else in second place (Dolly, Patsy, Loretta), but she was so much a different element. Tragic to lose her so soon but performances like this show just how special of a performer she was. And her and George were like gasoline and kerosene together. Burning bright but burning hard.
