Their oldest child died back in 1972 and great grandpa died a month to the day later of a broken heart. My great grandma lived until 2020 and died only a few months before her 90th birthday. I miss that woman everyday more and more. She lived 48 years longer than her husband and she never dated or remarried. She truly stood by her man almost as much as she stood by God. I know they are together in heaven.

I am not a huge country music fan but my goodness this is a song that has stood the test of times. Yet another singer that truly had a gift from God to use her voice to make the world a better place.
