I’m 64 now and remember hearing this song when I was 12 yrs old! Listening to the AM country radio station momma would sing along and cry! When I turned 18 she told me how her and my father divorced when I was 4. The little J O E is my name and it was mommas story as well! Love you Momma !🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Excellent-videos! My five-year relationship came to an end a month ago. The love of my life chose to leave, and I can't stop thinking about him; I love him so deeply. I've done everything I can to win him back, but nothing seems to work. I'm feeling frustrated and can't imagine my life with anyone else. Despite my efforts to move on, I just can't shake the thoughts of him. I don’t know why I’m sharing this, but I really miss him).

I love this song. brings back so many memories. When this song first came out, my parents booked her for 2 shows at their business. Being the owner's daughter, I had the pleasure of not only enjoying the first show, but during the time before the second show I took her to my parents home so she could get ready for the second show. We sat and talked, just her and I for about 30 minutes. She called George from the phone in my parents living room. Showed me pictures of her little girls. Admired pictures of my little ones. I felt it was instant friendship. she was just so nice. and I got a song dedicated to me for me taking her to the house where she could get ready. listening to this song reminds me of that night so many years ago. she was a great singer and a beautiful person.

As a dj for WGNC radio in Gastonia in 1978 I interviewed Tammy on her bus. A fantastic interview. Great picture with her. I also got a photo with great singer Sue Richards. It was snowing lightly that January night. As Sue and Tammy were being led to the stage from the bus, Sue said, “Hey, Bob!” Tammy pointed at me , smiled, and said, “Hellooooo, Robert!” Someone beside me asked, “Wow, you KNOW her?” In September, 1982, 25th, I think, Tammy was at The Frontier Club in Gastonia, NC. Just a few hours after my girlfriend broke up with me at a pizza restaurant. I asked for an interview with Tammy. Her road manager said she was just out of steam but I could introduce her on stage. I wrote all I had to remember to say on my wrist. I said, “Ladies and gentlemen, get out your biggest, best, and loudest welcome for one of the greatest singers ever in country music…THE First Lady of Country Music….MISS TAMMY WYNETTE!” Tammy ran up to me, grabbed me, and kissed me and then launched into “Rocky Top.” That was Saturday night. The following Monday I went to work at WGNC and first thing….got fired. In one weekend I lost my girlfriend and job but DID get to introduce and get kissed by Tammy Wynette! I’m an old man now with a LOT of precious memories.

I never liked country but old stuff has changed my mind! People make fun of poor working class uneducated people. Label them "trash" many of them are very wise strong good people and have a lot of wisdom and intelligence not to mention are Godly. Blessed are the poor for their is the kingdom of heaven.
