I think you are very generous to share the ideas and techniques with which you make money. Many people would not do that.
True
Glad your enjoying ❤️
This is so true! I have learned so much by watching your videos alone!
Where would i get the recipe fir your chalk paint please.
Your channel is so inspiring!@OurUpcycledLife
I'll just drop off my "stash" and pick it up when you're done working your magic! 🤭
Wouldn't that be nice . . .
No, wouldn't that be lovely!!! we would sing all the way home. For those that are a lot younger than me, that was a song Julie Andrews sang I think in the Sound of Music, but it could be Mary Poppins. Anyway, it is a lovely old song and I just could not help but attach it to your response Donna.... hope you don't mind.@@donnabrasher3303
lol too cute!!!
Oh no!!! My stash is already too big!! Hahaha
Me too pleeeese😊
So many fun and amazing ideas, techniques and results! Thank you so much! One less item in a landfill is one less item in a landfill!❤
You are so welcome!
Is there anything that you can’t do?!?!? I love that you’re living your best life! TFS!!!
Yes! Thank you!
It is a bug catcher, my aunt had one…..memories ❤
I really want some ones old bug catcher now! 😂 this lady just works magic to create so much beauty, otherwise I would never be on the lookout for some ones old dead bug stash!
Glad you enjoyed!
That burning technique was amazing! I hadn't seen that one before.
I love it!
I REALLY like that you do so many projects!! I also love that you give plenty of instructions and product details but move at a speed so that the viewer does not lose interest.
Thank you so much!
I agree.
I absolutely love that burning method and have used it- it is amazing and almost magical
It really is!
The glass jar with the hole in the bottom is a fly trap. Flys can crawl in any direction but can only fly in straight lines. A mixture of borax, sugar or honey and water is pored into the gully at the bottom of the jar. When the flies land usually at the bottom opening after the luring smell of the water and honey they crawl in and drink the sweet poisonous borax water where they become trapped and can’t fly up or down to escape. It works quite well.
Yes exactly
I love when you do the multicoloured chippy paint. I haven’t tried it yet. I need to thrift the right thing to paint up.
I think the glass bee hive thing is a wasp catcher.
I love the salt wash! My favourite paint technique
The salt and pepper shakers would be cute with bride and groom photos at the head table or as placecard holders with family/guest pix for each person at a dinner.
Oh great idea
Love all of your artistic ideas.. beautiful
Thanks so much 😊
Okay, huge observation. You have some of the most important (in my opinion) traits for crafting. You love to upcycle, you're cost conscious, you're talented, and overwhelmingly patient. Your patience in developing your projects and your patience in responding to comments. You just seem to be a really neat and very kind lady. I'm learning more than crafting techniques from you and I'm grateful. Kudos. Continued blessings, dear.
Thanks so much for the kind words❤️ I appreciate it
Thanks for the inspiration. I turned a dead tree into garden markers with your transfer technique using polyacrylic. I had a blast. They turned out great

Really like the green/stone color pitcher vase. You were blessed to find the perfect ‘Oops’ paint and this uniquely shaped vase.
Exactly! I am so jealous of that paint color for $3! I just bought a similar vase, same sand paint, half this brown color and the top half is a dark blue, from hobby lobby. It was on sale for $12 from $45. I thought I had a deal but now I don’t think so!
Thanks so much 😊
Super brava ❤
Thanks for the great ideas! Everyone can apply these techniques to make items their own.❤

Love these creative upcycling ideas for home decor! Can't wait to try them out 🌿 #upcyclegoals
Glad you like them!
I think the younger as in millennial generation has more inner strength. They are faced with different emotional challenges and some that are timeless.
I see them like emotional
suffragettes. They will speak up for themselves. This is not a blanket statement because mental health is not one size fits all. I do admire their strength And as a older woman I wish that that spark had been planted in me.
You have wonderful ideas. Thank you for sharing. Friend from North Georgia Mountains
Thank you so much!

I loved the photo frame crackle technique you invented! Super cute. Ty

People love stuff for and about their pets, no matter what their pets are.❤️
That is some of the ugliest paper I’ve ever seen.

I agree but on the other hand for selling purposes they always do better ❤️
This was my first time watching you, and I loved your video. It's tempting me to check the bins again! ❤

Your bee hive is a vintage fruit fly catcher
Hi🎉
Darling, creative and sweet lady! Love your channel - but frankly I cannot input almost 3 hrs at a time. Suggest biting them up say like 4-5 ideas at a time. Believe you would get many many many more hits......LOVE YOUR CREATIVITY! THANK YOU FOR SHARING! YOU ARE AWESOME!
So glad you’re enjoying! You can skip around and watch in segments when you have time ❤️
The bee hive thing is a wasp trap. It needs a cork or stopper in the top. Add sugar water in the bottim.
Yes exactly 👍
Would love to know how you price the items you upcycle! I know that prices very depending on where you are at, but it would be a good guide to go by if you could give some examples of what you price things at 😊

Love everything Lol except for the succulent because I happen to be the only person in ALLLLL of the entirety of North America who dislikes them🤦🏻 which of course leaves more for y'all to love!
BuUuUuUt AnYwAyS I do love, doing the reverse transfer method but learned that the white glue I tried because I was out of the other annnnnd I'm here to say that there's a difference!😆
My whole design just slid right off the piece right in front of a friend I was just saying that you don't have to buy the expensive stuff.......it was like a slow moving nightmare......yup where I had to eat crow🙄 a giant piece of humble pie😉 Neener neener flavor but LoL we all know, we need those moments to keep life funny, at times when we might take ourselves a little too serious😏 and let's face it 🙃 that's how we find some of our favorite techniques and pieces!!!

Bee glass is a wasp catcher
It is a wasp catcher. I have one.
This video is too long for me. I tried watching it multiple times and even though I mark down my start/ending times, I just can't stay focused. I do like you creativity and have used several of your ideas. Hoping future videos are no longer than 30 minutes
Thank you for your inspiration!
Oh yes I have lots much shorter. Usually only have one of these a Month
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌻🌺🌹🌷

Glad you enjoyed
Warning: Word- police are out!!!😂
I suggest nailing that horseshoe to the block of wood using actual horseshoe nails. Just a suggestion. Enjoy your show your video lots of good ideas thank you!😊

I really liked the wood on the bowl and candlestick. I was so hoping you wouldn't paint it. I think it would've looked beautiful with just a really good coat or two of sealer or varnish. 😢
I noticed you say Polycrylic even when you're using Varathane sealer. I think you mean polyurethane. Polycrylic is a specific brand.
Have you ever tried black paper with white lettering and transferring onto a black piece?
The white will just show up as black from underneath as you can’t print white ink
That beehive thing about the 50 minute mark, I found some variations to be priced from a few hundred to a fee thousand dollars depending on age but apparently it was used to catch wasps or flies from what I found.
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed.
I wish you would just bring the wood back to life on more of your projects especially when there is woodgrain visible. Please?🙏
JUNK JUNK JUNK
I enjoy watching each one of your videos, you are so talented. I tried something and it didn't work for me. I painted a set of metal candle holders with primer and when it was dry I spray it with hair spay , then chalk paint, the end result was a mess. I'm sure I did something wrong.
Yes it won’t work with chalk paint has to be acrylic paint
Just an FYI. It’s a beautiful Terrarium not Teranium😬. Great job whatever you call it😮🤣
The bee hive is a wasp killer… just add sugar and water. The wasps go in but can’t figure out how to get out…not too cleverLOL
New to your channel. Would the stone type spray paints work on the salt and pepper shakers (maybe with a little dirt thrown in)?
Yes, it sure would. I have used that type of spray paint before but it is very pricey.
I have thrift purchases piling up in my living room now. I'm not sure if I should thank you for the inspirations or curse you ;-) One thing I'm unsure of, when you print off your laser jet graphic should you use it right away or does it matter if it sits a few days?
You can leave it for a time and it will work fine
@@OurUpcycledLife Than you.
The beehive piece, is a wasp catcher. The idea is the wasp flies up inside and doesn’t know how to get out.
Yep exactly
Love ALL Your Redos!!! But, How Do You Still Have Skin On Your Fingers...With ALL The Rough & Buff Reverse Mod Podge Technique??? 🤔🥺
TFS All Your Creativity With US!!! I LOVE THEM ALL!!!

I love these ideas but I I looked and looked for the recipe for the homemade chalk paint in the description. I’ve also looked for it in your other videos. It did take forever to find the description. Maybe you could give instructions on how to find it, maybe on every video since I’m not the only one having this problem. Thank you for your help.

Hello Ma'am. New to your channel, watched some of your shorter videos first and am pleased at what I've seen thus far.
I have a question for you... When printing the quotes, I have an EPSON WORKFORCE Printer. Will it be sufficient/ feasible to do some of these projects? I have some quotes that I'd like to try out/test run.
Thank you in advance for your help and reply. Much Success to you.😊
Welcome and so glad you found my channel here. Hope you find lots of great content. I am not familiar with that printer so it would just be something you’d have to do some trial and error and see if it works for you.
Alright. Thanks anyway ☺️
So when your print things do you print on just regular paper?
Yes
@@OurUpcycledLife thank you so much!
