Never before have I ridden a coaster that is just that downright "addictive". It is SO reridable, you just want to go again and again. I really feel that this is just all around as close as we have ever gotten to a perfect roller coaster. It is a perfect blend between speed, intensity and unpredictable elements; that combined with all the near misses due to the incredible theming makes for a HUGE adrenaline rush. The feeling of speed during the sencond launch is just unbelievable. After my first ride on this thing my hands were literally shaking for one minute after we hit the brakes. 10/10, wipes the floor with Helix and Blue Fire :D

Would it be awesome if the company behind Phantasialand did a new theme park in Ireland that is themed to different time periods and to get from one period to another, you go through a time tunnel? The themed areas will be Stone Age, Ancient Egypt, Pirate Oceans, Wild West, Middle Ages, Ancient Greece, Renaissance, Ancient Rome, Oriental Era, and Far Future. Each area will have one roller coaster and 5 flat rides. Wild West, Stone Age, and Pirate Oceans will have a water ride as well, and Middle Ages will have a dark ride along with the other rides.
Phantasialand once again proves how important good theming is, with Taron being the prime example and probably the best themed roller coaster in the world.
After having ridden it yesterday, I can say it's the best roller coaster of the entire park, previously held by Black Mamba. It's second launch is just amazing. Really, I strained my shoulders trying to keep my arms upright in there. The acceleration is just amazing and the sound it produces can be heard throughout Klugheim and nearby areas.
So inpressive that they were able to fit in two roller coasters in that tight space :) Also, that theming is just outstanding. I don't know if even Disney or Universal can compete with that level of theming.
This ride is awsome, the best Coaster i've ever ridden so far. The Theming is outstanding and the coaster has many airtime moments and so cool rapid Transitions, the Launches are also realy cool, the second is better (more intens, faster and also some nice near-miss).
I may be biased, cause Phantasialand is my Home Park, but Taron is the best rollercoaster that I have ever ridden! Words can hardly emphasize how awesome the experience is. It offers an amazing, intense, unique and long layout, with crazy launches, powerful Airtime, insane banked turns, rapid transitions, great Gs. and great speed. Taron is super compact, it dives over and under itself and changes the direction all the time. It's full of awesome near misses, rockwork and tunnels, which make you feel even faster than you actually are. Plus: it's super smooth and has awesome, comfortable restraints that make you feel very free. But it's more than the pure coaster, it are the theming, the overall atmosphere, the soundtrack the, the appearance, level of detail and especially how it's worked into the themed area that make the ride so incredible. Taron is Klugheim and Klugheim is Taron, if you know what I mean. Six Flags has the great thrill rides, but lacks theming and overall atmosphere. Disney has great theming, but lacks good roller coasters. Phantasialand combines awesome rides with out of this world theming, and I love it!
another great video CB am actually at Phantasialand as I write this in the incredible hotel Matamba. I've spent the day taking photos and uploading them as this entire park is breathtaking, and as for Taron? I have never spent more time out of my seat on any other ride so much so I actually began hooking my heels underneath my seat as it felt like I would fly out! So intense and yet so smooth this coaster lacks nothing in my opinion.
Going to be visiting Phantasialand at the end of October and am really looking forward to riding Taron. Probably my most anticipated coaster of the year. Great video!

oh children .. this had me shook! I live kinda near the Phantasialand and of course I’ve heard about the new 6 world records BUT I avoided to spoiler myself too much so I went in totally blind.. I was so foolish to expect a typical rollercoaster start and was kind of confused when it already stopped after slowly driving around the edge.. HOLY MOLY ... this catapult start... from 0- 100 or so in under 3 seconds ..
You have to wait like 2 hours in line for the ride but it's well worth it. INTENSE I would say, and the second launch comes as a nasty surprise for those not expecting it.

However, I then had an hours ERT in the dark and all I can say is Wow! Love the fast transitions and the powerful launches. At night, it’s the best coaster I’ve ever experienced. In the daylight, I still prefer Helix because I like inversions.
I thought Taron was themed to a dragon... anyway, I think that Taron is easily the best coaster in Europe and the best launch coaster in the world; probably THE best coaster in the world. Voyage is the only coaster that comes anywhere close.
I have to drive 2 hours to get in this park. I absolutely love it. The theeming is awesome and the coasters too. If you ever visit this park, stop by in Klugsheims restaurant. Its delicious. :P
Yes it lives up to the hype. The last time i wrote i was last year a few days before Christmas and it was wonderful. The ride is so action packed and fast whilst being one of the longest roller coasters i ever rode. The watercooled LSM launch which is not only the fastest but the fastest accelerating LSM in the world if im not mistaken is awesome and the sound it makes is intimidating yet wonderful. I love it but in my opinion a few inversions wouldn't hurt the experience.

One thing phantasialand is world class at : Theming. There is a bridge over the End oft the second launch , which leads into a small cave. Standing there is overwhelming
Coasterfan3657 I rode Helix, it's my third fave coaster. I like Taron more cus of the theming and intensity, but Helix is the smoothest coaster I've ever ridden.
I’ve just got back took my lad over there for us both to ride it 😊 omg what an absolute beast best coaster so far 9 times we ridden it. Plus on the front in the rain total different experience. Make sure you ride it later on in the afternoon because it’s true what people say it’s even better 😊
It's an amazing coaster, a great example of how a coaster can be low to the ground but still incredibly thrilling.

Coasterfan3657 I rode Helix, it's my third fave coaster. I like Taron more cus of the theming and intensity, but Helix is the smoothest coaster I've ever ridden.

It's not likely that the two coasters will share the same element, but I think there may indeed be a special or secret aspect to SW8.

Scariest ride i've ever been on. The launch gives you so much G-force it feels like somebody just stabbed a knife in you and wiggled it around :P

I’ve just got back took my lad over there for us both to ride it 😊 omg what an absolute beast best coaster so far 9 times we ridden it. Plus on the front in the rain total different experience. Make sure you ride it later on in the afternoon because it’s true what people say it’s even better 😊

I was there in july. At the start of the day, there was a 200+ minutes wait. When i decided to ride it, it was only 5 minutes
