This park looks to be one of the top three theme parks in the world. Every ride and coaster in this park looks to be world-class, including this rapids ride. Really hope to visit someday in the future. Thanks for the content.

I love how this ride states with a bazillion of warning signs that YOU WILL GET WET and people are still surprised when they get wet.

At River Quest you don't get wet, but you have to watch out that you're not drowning during the ride 🤣

Ich war nachdem ich das Fahrgeschäft gefahren bin sehr stark erkältet mit Verdacht auf Lungenentzündung durch den starken Husten den ich hatte obwohl wir uns danach unter die Föhns gestellt haben.
That and you know, the water.
This and the drop tower were the only rides we didn't do at Phantasialand and I'm still bummed about that. We definitely need to go back.
It's an amazing rapids ride, one of our favourites. It's worth waiting for.
This is probably my third favourite attraction in this park after Taron and FLY. And that's not because I don't like Chiapas and Black Mamba, because they are very good, but this thing is incredible.

First, gosh with this and Europa Park is it, Germany seems to be the place to go to if you wanna go to dope theme parks. Secondly, I often wonder watching videos like this, what it would be like to be the passengers in these rides? Like knowing that by chance and happenstance you find yourself part of a video watched by hundreds of strangers? That must be a wild thing to do to show your friends afterwards.
Phantasialand and Europa Park are both fantastic parks. Germany as a country is also beautiful 🙂 When filming other people, we always make a point of mentioning we are filming for RUclips, as not everyone wants to be filmed. Thankfully, only once have a group of people not been happy about it. Most look forward to seeing it for the memories, and quite often ask when we will be uploading it, or subscribe to the channel so they can see when it goes live.
That's a unique one - looks like you had the 'wet seats' for the ride! Haha

Thank you 🙂 Yes, we asked at guest services when getting our fast passes. There were, however, restrictions. We weren't allowed to film on Taron or Black Mumba, other rides were down to the individual ride ops. We could also only film using the GoPro chest strap which was a bit of a shame, as would have liked to have filmed this in 360 degrees with the hand strap. But it's better than nothing 🙂

Theming is great but the ride intensity could be a little better. Too many slow drifting moments and not enough swift current to give it the rapid feel.

You can get very wet, but it;s worth it. It's a lot of fun 🙂

San Antionio Version was none other but a castle log ride starring the Looney Tunes
How about panning around to see the interesting things on the ride? We can barely catch the various elements and theming. There are other POVs of this ride on RUclips that do a much better job of shooting the ride rather than shooting the riders. Lazy camera work.
@danceswithmules We had the camera attached to our chest on a chest mount. We weren't allowed to use the hand strap for safety, if we were, we would have filmed a 360 degree POV like we have on many other rapid rides. When the camera is strapped to your chest, movement is very limited.

It was a bit more than that! I was the one filming this POV, the wave went over my head and soaked me from head to toe.
I excepted a view of the ride, not just the people sitting in the boat. Very boring.
When a camera is strapped onto your chest, and you're not allowed to move in the boat, your are limited to what you can do / film unfortunately. If we were allowed to film with the hand strap, we would have shown a lot more!
