    Chiles should get her 0.1 added back (it was already decided the day of competition), and Barbosu should get her 0.1 added back (she was deducted 0.1 for stepping out of bounds when the video showed she didn't). That would place Barbosu 3rd and Chiles 4th. Instead, the FIG and CAS made the most convoluted decision that made it fair to no one.

      It's Sabrina Who Didn't Step Out Of Bounds Not Ana. Ana Barbosu Did In Fact Step Out Of Bounds & She Shouldn't Even Be In The Conversation To Begin With. This Is About Jordan & Sabrina. These Judges Are Just Ridiculous 🤦🏽‍♀️.

    • @mjamitche5245
      @mjamitche5245 Месяц назад +1

      They never disputed the step out of bounds within the 4 minutes they had. They could have submitted an inquiry. Whatever inquiry that was submitted was rejected. We don't know if the neutral deduction actually had to do with out of bounds. Jordan's inquiry was accepted and was within the time frame or they wouldn't have accepted it. The judges decisions should stand as is. Going back days later and disputing judging has never been done officially in gymnastics. FIG and IOC don't get involved in judging. They don't need to set this level of unprecedented involvement into the judge's job, up to stripping medals for judging disputes. It unprofessional and demonstrates corruption. If these judges have made mistakes, fire them. But you hired them and let them do this job. They can all be fired afterward. But, to get involved like this by re-judging the competition later by a boardroom full of people who decide to strip medals, is really dangerous.

      @@mjamitche5245The Romanians couldn't have disputed the step out because for some obscure reasons only the difficulty score can be disputed, and the Romanian gymnast was unfairly penalised for execution. Still that was completely the judges' mistake, and the Romanian gymnast (but another one) is the rightful bronze medalist.

    This is so ridiculous it really made the whole thing look like a joke, the Olympic commitee really needs to clarify wtf happened here or they can never be trusted again with holding fair sporting events of any sort. Why was the medal given to the Romanian, then reversed to Chiles due to her coach complaining and then reversed again? Wtf happened there, what exactly did her coach say? They need to do a LOT of explaining

    • @Creativelydetermined
      @Creativelydetermined Месяц назад

      Apparently the judges missed a skill set that Jordan did. It wants to coach make the complaint about it they went back and washed the tape and realized they did miss something. The judges admitted they made a mistake. But now the Romanians are saying that the USA Coach made the call 47 seconds too late. But if the judges did their job right in the first place. Jordan would be in 3rd

    Who cares what medals these gymnasts get. Gymnastics is a popularity contest. Judges determine the winners. You can have one judge score High and another judge score really low. Any event that requires judges do determine winner the results will always be questionable, perhaps
    Favoritism towards certain athlete or country.
