Bruh the fact that they eliminated the South Indian lady just because she couldn't speak Hindi even after suspecting the real mole just speaks volumes as to the bias in this selection of people towards the North of India
Bruh they eliminated her because she said curry not because she's south Indian and can't speak Hindi. I've literally lived my entire life in the south and even I was shocked and knew the second she said curry she was out. Yes that curry question really problematic like aren't foreign enough for this stereotypes 😮💨🙄🙄🙄🙄 I so done by her . I would have eliminated her first 😅
@@anc2092Curry is a very common term, as a south indian i use it to rever to sabzi as northern indians call it. The western thing is that curry is a dish when it is just a type of dish - ex eggplant curry or tomato aloo curry. In telugu the word kura is used like vankaya kura
@@dotio5664 I am not telugu but I have a lot of Telugu friends and none of them have ever in my life referred to anything dry as curry where sabzi is always a dry dish. @@anmoldwivedi5403 @parker4406 replied sarcastically. The "Indian group" was quite narrow-minded and failed to recognized people from South India, who cannot speak Hindi, as Indian.
Nah! Don't give wrong interpretation, she got voted out because she asked the stereotypical "curry" question. As being a Indian myself I didn't even know these many varieties of curry existed, I only ate besan+dahi ki curry, so if someone asked the curry ques. in 1st round I would be sus too
It clearly wasn't because of her being from the south but rather the use of the word "curry" which Desi people rarely do. That's hella suspicious and very weird for a Indian person to say.. even ye Chan could point it out🤷🏻♀️
For everyone saying no one in Indian says the word curry. The equivalent word in Tamil to "Kaṟi" and in Telugu its "Kūra", and these words are used for almost any dish except dals and fried dishes. Hence when speaking in English, its common most south indian states to use the word curry. In fact the word curry itself originated from the Tamil word "Kaṟi". So don't be too quick to come conlusions about the whole of India if you aren't sure about it (especially if its regarding something you aren't too familiar about) and considering the size and diversity of India, if you're sure about anything, you're probably wrong :)
Actually there are North Indian dishes also called Kari and there kadi and there is offcourse the kardi pataa(leaves) but no one calls dishes curries in India in general. Like if you go to a South Indian restaurant there won't be an option for curries.

For people who are confused , in south we call everything as curry as you call it sabzi. Like cabbage curry, potato curry, meen curry etc. We have vernacular one's to that like koora in Andhra and kari in kerala. Don't you guys have curry points in north where you can buy curry . We buy when we're lazy and we just cook rice in home.
I want curry points in Nagaland 😂.
I need them when i feel lazy to cook
I remember when i was young in Dehradun. I kept a small gas stove in my room cs hostel food sucks. I'd cook all the time but sometimes when i felt Lazy i use to buy boiled eggs from the hawker outside instead of boiling them myself. And then add them to the curry i cook.
This is exactly what people from southern region don't understand. They themselves don't even know how much they're unconsciously influenced by colonialists interpretation of their local culture. Whatever we're saying today is nothing but mostly a product of last 200 years of foreigners being invasive in our all walks of life. And yes, that's what you'd find if you have studied culinary history. If you read the cuisine books of Royal court in Souther region before 300 years ago, you won't find 'everything that has thick sauce texture being termed as curry'.
Many ignorants in other countries, especially in Western Europe and North America including in India as well have started associating every Indian dish with thick brownish sauce texture as Curry as all the Curry(Kādhi) paste based Indian dish do have thick brownish sauce texture. But not all Indian cuisines with thick sauce and brownish texture has Curry into it. For example, Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala have similar thick sauce brownish texture but both ARE entirely two different dishes.
@@aaradhyarawat7589 India has been influenced by many cultures even before the colonist.
Especially the ones that touch the sea. People from all over the World visit and settle for months +years for trading and there is exchange of not only goods but culture, tradition, cuisine.

Ethnically no.
Nationally, yeah

Bruh the fact that they eliminated the South Indian lady just because she couldn't speak Hindi even after suspecting the real mole just speaks volumes as to the bias in this selection of people towards the North of India
Bruh they eliminated her because she said curry not because she's south Indian and can't speak Hindi. I've literally lived my entire life in the south and even I was shocked and knew the second she said curry she was out. If she would have just said Indian food or dish instead of curry she wouldn't have been eliminated
She could have said Karu is a telugu word which means dish because in English curry is literally any gravy dish. It was just miscommunication that led to her being eliminated that's all.
no way u just said that! lemme explain - the south indian literally said that "she knew a lil bit of hindi" ! thats why the other north indian said that "lets talk a bit in hindi because everyone there know hindi even if a lil bit" ! and its sunita's fault to not even say a single word in hindi even when everyone was told to do so
everyone is really warm & embrace their culture beautifully
Bro logically why would they vote out Sunita. Quite frankly, no foreigners will be learning telugu or any dravidian language for that matter. The most in demand language from India is Hindi, obviously the mole would be a hindi-speaker.
South indians are apparently not as indian
@@parker4406 what?
@@anmoldwivedi5403 @parker4406 replied sarcastically. The "Indian group" was quite narrow-minded and failed to recognized people from South India, who cannot speak Hindi, as Indian.

I think she was queit shy and wasn't communicating much so it easy to pin her down whereas they tried the same with Charlie but he uno reversed it

Telling aunty u ain't Indian cuz your from the south is crazy
None of these people are true indians, Liberal brainwashed Congress supporters.

I was thinking the same. If he grew up in India for 20 years of his life, they could've just brought in another mole because he's basically an Indian.

Yea it's north indian stupidity to think curry isn't an indian word
Actually there are North Indian dishes also called Kari and there kadi and there is offcourse the kardi pataa(leaves) but no one calls dishes curries in India in general.
Like if you go to a South Indian restaurant there won't be an option for curries.
