went for this instead of the Sora 4k... feels like at this price point I can skip the optical switches that came with the Sora. Still have money left for whatever 2024 has to offer

Will you be trying either of the magnesium gpx mini clones from mchose or ixi? Personally i think the mchose ax5 is the better buy, 359CNY on taobao. I expect with GST and shipping it'll be around SGD74 or MYR260. Pretty insane deal. Will be 40+g if you do some non destructive mods. I suspect it wont have too many QC issues as its heftier than the 39g offerings from WL and FM ULX with full magnesium on the sidewalls with no holes.
Just wondering if you have access to Taobao in Msia to enjoy cheaper prices?
i can't read CN so that's my loss. The Machose is insane and I'm glad these brands are bringing the prices down I feel like AAA brands are going too far with pricing.

I have a relaxed claw grip but my hands are smaller than yours (18x10.5), could this be good for me?
I just refounded an Mchose A5 Pro (i ordered the Pro Max but the seller sent me the wrong model) which was really good for flicks and control but it hurt my hands but Idk if it’s because it was a bit slippery or because it was slightly too small. What do you think? For example I don’t have the same control with a Razer Viper
mchose and VXE ia in a different category of build quality. not saying mchose is bad but VXE is certainly up there with the big boys, or rather the big boys have quality similar to vxe
Would you recommend getting this (49$ CAD) or the EGG XM2we (105$ CAD). I don't know if I'll like the xm2 back hump shape so I'm thinking it's safer to get this to try but with a 55$ difference maybe I should just spring for the xm2we?
this is miles ahead of XM2we in terms of specs. Sure the EGG might me a tad better in build quality but at this point we're splitting hairs.
If you have AliExpress you can get it for US52 with 4K or US$42 mouse only.
I love the XM2we and I owned 2 but this will run circles around the EGG

Hey man, nice review. I had vgn f1 moba and the base was completely flat, the back was tilt downward so the glide was scratchy a bit at back. Is vxe r1 having the same problem?
i only had an issue with the entry model the R1 SE, the Pro and Pro Max have great QC.
I'm astonished that the MOBA is giving you troubles, this is the first i heard of it.
Does it come with a 4K dongle? Is there a way to test whether it is "real" 4K or not? Thanks.
4k is optional yes you can use razer tool to check
I have three options between f1 moba, r1 pro max and darmoshark m3s pro. My hand are 19cm L , 8.5cm W and my grip is fingertip. Which one would you recommend. Currently rocking pulsar xlite v2 mini and for me, it’s too small.
R1 Pro max because of the coating, and also it's a bigger X2 mini. Moba is also a good choice bit ever so smaller. Darmo imo feels lower quality but this opinion is subjective.
Is the coating really a big stuff? Im planning to buy the r1 version only

@@erui2848 i have not tried the regular R1, but i did try an R1SE and recently the R1SE+. I had a bad experience with the R1SE and right now i'm really enjoying the R1SE+
So imo it's a hit or miss if you're not getting the Pro or Pro Max. I think they have lower QC standards for the R1SE and R1SE+
Just received it, wonder the difference with or without the extender, you're supposed to be like at 20 cm from the extender and 2 meters without it, what's the point of using it ?
the extender is for if you want to put your dongle on your desk closer to your mouse for better latency.
I don't use it.

I live in SG and the price of mouse + 4k receiver is S$51 + S$20. They seem to come separately. Is that the case for you?
you can buy from shopee or AliExpress from a same company that sells the mouse and dongle so you save on shipping.

i don't think mchose are in same level of quality but if you FT i would pick moba it's so good for that pbs all day with that mouse you'll be surprised

Pro Max is Sora V2/X2/XM2we while the MOBA is like a Beast X

you need a 4K dongle, you need to pair it, then you need to enable it on the vgn hub software

you can use it wired while charging but once you've gone wireless you don't want to be tethered

i didn't find lamzus to have this issue maybe you got a faulty one
@@DatBoyGuru maybe, I have logitech g203 and scroll wheel on that is so easy to press, but it's so old now, sometimes left click gets stuck etc, will try R1 pro max.

it comes with a 2.4Hz already. The 4K dongle is an option. If you mean can you use this is wired mode the answer is yes

no it already comes with one. but if you want 4K polling then you have to buy the 4K dongle separately.

Back to where we left off😂, i ordered the r1 pro along side the aqua control 2 sakura mouse pad(30$ with shipping), i tried getting the esptiger but the shipping cost was just absurd, more expensive then the pad and i live in the middle-east so not much options. This is my very first “proper” mouse and i would love to hear your opinion on the AC 2 knowing that i could cancel because it didn’t ship yet. I mostly play fps, mw3, the finals and similar style games.

I have AC+ and xraypads are generally very solid. My AC+ is like a Hien clone and this is a very high distinction for any pad to be a worthy Artisan mousepad clone. The AC2 Sakura i don't have but it's going to be a very good pad in fact better than my AC+ and very good value for money. Match that with a VXE you'll be floating off the table how smooth that glide going to be.

Besides that, i was honestly confused as it didn't come with 2k polling rate because I'm very sure aliexpress shop i bough from said "4k receiver needed above 2K" which means i should get 2k polling without the receiver right?

Hey just think that you should get a pop filter for your mic if you don't already have one, I hear quite a lot of your lips movement from your mic and its kinda disturbing the viewing experience.
pop filter won't remove swallow or lips sounds(my mic already has one). pop filters only remove plosives from speaking directly into the capsule.
I'm constantly trying to improve my audio so i take your critique seriously and i'm replaying the video to listen to it again.

USB A to USB c cable is provided and charged towards the front of the mouse where you can operate as a regular wired mouse too

I just bought this mouse last week, I am using a 2.4GHz connection. When I'm using a 2.4Ghz wi-fi connection, with a mouse connected, wi-fi randomly disconnects. Does anyone have a same issue?

I was about to pick this one over my F1 Moba but I cannot cancel the shipping anymore. I'm just using 1K polling rate because 4K is not working properly in Paladins. I don't know why my aim improved after using this from a wired Glorious Model O minus. I can say that chinese mice are competitive when it comes to gaming mouse.

yeah i think the mouse is made in the same factory as Sprime because the base looks exactly the same as Ninjusto and Sprime. We could get a modified version of the PM 1? fingers crossed !

I have both, they have a similar shape.. but the r1 pro Max is much better in construction and coating. Go with r1
i haven't tried any Darmoshark mouse so i can't give the most definitive advice. I can say VGN/VXE make very good quality mouses just like any AAA brand.

i hear good things about the machose but not tried it myself.
The only thing i can say about VGN/VXE is the quality is assured and proven. I can't say the same with the machose because no one has said it was AAA quality
