Some points
The Pro Max uses the new Kailh "white sword" switches, but I guess internally very similar if not same as GM 8.0
Pro uses Huano "frost berry" which is said to be the same as the transparent blue shell pink dot just in different color
VXE is indeed a sub-brand of VGN (or like same owner owns both companies, you can never know with these chinese companies)
As far as I know this comes out from the same OEM as Lamzu and Ninjutso, not sure if Pulsar is made there tho.
The VXE/VGN factory make some parts for Pulsar. Scroll wheel, shell, coating process are the ones I can confirm. No need to buy $110 Lamzu/Pulsar shit
What switches does normal R1 have compared to the others (for example R1 Pro)

$50 (including $15 dongle) for a premium feeling good performance light mouse is budget imo. If you need dirt cheap they have the $20 SE version

It just arrived. Damn this is amazing went from Fantech x9 thor for 4years to VXE dragonfly r1 pro. The weight change is crazy and It will 100% take me some time to get used to and the review is spot on.
Hey after 3 months,did u get any problems?
Im using it still the best, if you squeeze it with force i mean like abnormal "you wouldnt hold it like that kinda force" it will creek on some parts. The sensor phenomenal 1k hz (no 4k donggle). The weight very balanced near the sensor which is pretty much almost perfect. Im using the grip it came with and it gets dirty extremely fast so i will remove it someday. The mouse itself is grippy it doesn't need the grips it comes with (just wanted to try it out).
TL:DR
Totally worth it mate. Totally playing osu with it rn, the shape is near "i think" with pulsar x2 & lamzu atlantis mini (my goal mouse someday).

1 more question , do u plug the dongle directly to the pc port or u have the cable that u put the dongle in , then the end of the cable to the pc port , so the dongle will be close to your mouse
@@mohamedallouche5873 i have the usb dongle on the cable it comes with and it's connected to the back of my pc/motherboard. I also tested it only using the dongle without it's cable, didn't see much of a difference in terms of connectivity (i have my pc on my table near my mouse and like roughly 450mm away from the dongle for reference).
To this day the battery last better than i expected i use the 30sec sleep timer (it wakes up very fast when move like no delay at all) i barely charge this thing and it sometimes feels weird that i don't have to charge it that much. I charge like once every 5 days will depend on your use case btw. Takes less than an hour sometimes even more less to fully charge.
TL:DR
I use the dongle with the cable so i can charge it on my table and still use my mouse (barely happens that i need to charge) and i don't struggle with connection issues for my whole time using it not even once. Weight of my mouse is like 52g with the grips. "If" you get it aswell hope you have a wonderful time using it.

Got r1 pro as a replacement for my double clicking g305. Geez this thing is insanely good. Top tier coating, build quality, weight, switches, sensor etc. Ticks all of the boxes for a no brainer price.
I'm using the G305 with AAA lithium batteries currently, is it really worth upgrading? Also how much bigger is the size? My G305 gives me cramps after a few hours because my hands are too big for it...
@@houssamalucad753 I was using it with AA lithium battery. Yes, it's definitely worth upgrading R1 pro feels like feather in hand compared to g305. My hands are 18/9 R1 pro fits just right in my hand, so much more comfortable than g305 for long usage + it's easier to hold in general.

Hi im g305 user too so what about vxe r1 pro switches ? Can spammable like g305 omron switch.
@@hikuya7 Huano switches feel more rigid and have richer sound. Less spammable compared to omrons but every click feels more satisfying. No pre or post travel.
Finally you reviewed it! I got the R1 SE since I don't need the premium features. I just need a good budget gaming mouse. The R1 SE surely delivers. I got mine for under 16 dollars. I can't complain that much. I got a solid unit too. No creaking, no rattly noises. Solid clicks. Highly customizable with the V HUB software. Best budget mouse I've used so far.
That's good to hear mate, I would've went at least for the R1 as the price difference at least now as I am writing this comment is very minimal but that's still amazing 🙏👍

I've just bought r1 pro and omg it's amazing 😍 it's lightweight and the shape is great ☺️ the only thing is the side second thumb button feels a little cheap. I'm used too the MX master and the button on that mouse is great.
I havent really tried this shape but I tried attack shark x3 and didn't like the shape. Size was ok but it felt too wide at the back and couldn't reach the side buttons comfortably. Would you reccomend it for 17x10 hands with a relaxed claw grip? Currently using zaopin z1 pro.
The fact that you can use Pulsar X2 mouse feet on this is insane as they're literally the same

@brendandh3023 Thats great to hear man, on the VXE only the skates around the sensor are different but other than that the skates are pretty much identical

Just by looking at this mouse, Isn't it just a slightly bigger OP1 shape? It has no front flares at all, and looks longer and narrower than pulsar mice.

It completely depens on your grip style my friend, if you palm grip more or tend to tilt grip or claw-palm, you get the x3 as it's made specifically for that, x2v2 is an ambidextrous shape that fits mostly only claw-fingertip, and maybe like a claw-palm,

I wanted to thank you because with this video i've been able to get a wireless mouse without having to charge it with batteries for just 50$ with the option to upgrade to 4k dongle for a total of just 65$, while other mice with these specs from mainstream companies are 100$+
I just bought this mouse last week, I am using a 2.4GHz connection. When I'm using a 2.4Ghz wi-fi connection, with a mouse connected, wi-fi randomly disconnects. Does anyone have a same issue?

attack shark 3 yg dimaksud inno x2 yg 4k kan bang? kalo iya, aku pernah make helios ii & inno x2 (sampe skrg masih dipake) overall masih lebih nyaman di inno. secara shape menurutku lebih enak di inno karna ga terlalu tinggi jadi lebih enak aja megangnya (tanganku 19,5cm). hal lain yg kurang kusuka dari helios juga karna klik & scrollnya yg lumayan berat, klo abang suka tipe klik yg clicky mungkin bisa pilih helios aja. tapi secara build quality emang lebih solid helios, coatingnya juga bagusan helios, cuma secara kelengkapan masih lengkap inno
In terms of QC and build I think yeah you should go with VXE R1 as these mice are presumed to be made in the same factory as other mice such as Sora v2/pulsar etc which have good QC, so yeah if you don't want a headache with mice I would choose quality

Hello boardzy, i used to have a Bloody A70 😂 but i broke it in rage. I now play valorant alot so i was wondering what mouse i should get. I was considering the Razer viper v2 pro and the Lamzu Maya. Please respond and tell me which mouse i should get thank you.
Don't get maya nor viper too overpriced both of those, I mean it depens on your grip style and hand size of course, razer viper is long and flat mostly and fits fingertip mainly with maybe a bit of claw, maya is a mini GPX so a potato shape for any kind of grip style, now it depends on your hand size, I would personally go for the maya just because it's a lot safer if you have small-medium hands, or medium hands aswell, if you have bigger hands don't buy the maya will feel to small. Anyways what I would recommend is measuring your hand size, mine is 21x11 for example, I personally main the g303 shroud because I claw grip, and I ordered the R1 Pro max. Anyways tell me your hand size and main grip style or styles if you can use more than one comfortably, and I will give you a few recommendations.

Would you recommend the r1 se over the attack shark x3? The x3 has a lot of issues and some are sensor related. Ye it's a 3395 but like I'd imagine it's just a significantly worse experience overall
Just like he said, just don't get the SE. Get the regular R1. Even if you're on a tight budget, the price differential between the SE and R1 is negligible

Never had issues with x3 and I also own r1 and vgn f1 pro. Use kysona m600 software or send it back if you got bad copy. I got for example vxe r1 se to test it and the buttons would get stuck in the back if not pressed for some time. Probably bad copy.
I'm deciding between 3 mice: mchose A5 pro max, vgn f1 pro max and vxe r1 pro max. I hold the mouse finger tip style. What is the best choice?
I have 18.5 x 10.5 and use VGN dragonfly for relaxed claw. I tried vxe and sent it back due to side buttons being literally ingrained in the shell which I find it strange that it was not mentioned since other reviewers have also verified.
Haven't tried mchose but I am sure I am going to like it since I like mice from 121-124mm.
Each has approximately 0.5cm less length than the other with vxe being shorter and mchose longest.

Flat with comfort grooves from what I've read they feel better than any other mouse claw grip mouse like x2/xm1/atlantis etc, now Idk I ordered my r1 pro max will wait when i get it

Hey boardzy I hear a slight rattle on my r1 pro when i shake the mouse side to side. My theory is that it's just a wire because its like the source of the rattle is still attached to something. Would like to know if your copy has this aswell
