This was a movie called lunch truck ? I think . I watched it on cable TV @ my sister's house when I was a kid and somehow it got me interested in classical and jazz music. Great band .
Missing Persons, in their prime, were one of the best, technically adept groups from the 80s. Although their style was different, I'd put them up there with Talk Talk.
True story: in 1989 I attended a drum clinic with Terry Bozzio. It had a Q&A section at the end. I put my hand up to ask a question (not thinking I'd get called on), and to my surprise, I was called on. When it came time to ask the question, I blanked on what to ask. Like a doofus I asked him "What was it like to be in the movie Lunch Wagon and how did that come about"... He was less than amused. Sorry Terry!
The band was apparently credited as US Drag in this 1981 film. Since their 4-song 7'" came out in 1980 (as Missing Persons) and their two songs featured in this film are on it, I wonder if they went undercover here as they didn't want to be embarrassed by the film. Or maybe they didn't have their name yet while everything was being recorded? Whatever, it's a great, raw clip. BTW - only Dale Bozzio, Terry Bozzio, and Warren Cuccurullo are from the band. I'm not sure who the bassist and keyboard player are.

I saw him a couple of times, when he was in Zappa's band. Uptown Theater, Chicago 1978-79. 7 bucks a ticket.
Only top notch musicians were in Zappa's band. Later they would add Patrick O'Hearn, also a Zappa alumni.

Terry Bozzio drumming on this song was awesome.
