People behave differently when they are being observed; they are more inhibited and self-conscious about the image they are projecting to others. I❤ this Song and performance. I was there.
This was such a huge hit it was a classic just one year after it's debut...
Warren Cuccarello Rock n Roll inductee with Duran Duran! Great guitarist!
Recently I saw a shoe commercial playing this obscure wonderful song. They never got the recognition they deserved.
I was there that day. Hot weather & a long time ago. I remember her doing this, she was good.
How was Bowie? I went the next day....Halen Triumph Judas Priest
@@ericunderwood1482 I went to both years. I remember Bowie vividly, he was in his slicked out phase, saw him right in front of the stage. He was excellent, his band was too. I get confused at this point sometimes, what bands I saw in what year there. Overall, I can put it together, but sometimes I need to think or even check it out online. Was in the air cond. tent in 82, with the Apple computers lined up. Wozniak and Jobs were standing next to me there. I knew more of Wozniak than Jobs at that point. They weren't a big deal to most in 82. The kids would not know who they were then, maybe a few. New Wave was cooking too. Talking Heads were a stand out. Long time ago, miss being young of course. Good luck to you!
@@tomjones7089 Cool thanks for sharing! I got one for ya....this song the lyrics...the Freeway Strangler....( There were two of them ) tried to coax me into their Van in Downey. Crazy huh. Anyway Yeah what a great time. .it was HOT! Almost passed out during Ozzy lasted about 3 songs and my buddy was dying from the body heat....he was short he pulled my shirt and I bent down. Oh no....hold on to the back of my pants and don't let go .....we were center stage about 13 people deep. . I put my head down and started mowing people....exit stage left....Billy had like 40 people hanging on to him when we finally made it out! True stuff! Good luck to you too!
