    The guitar player, Gary, lives across the street from me. He and his wife and a few friends play a set of 80s covers for the neighbors in their front yard every Halloween. It started as a social distancing thing during the pandemic and just sort of became an awesome annual block party.

    Sometime during the 1990s, they played a dive bar called "Channel 1" in Regina, Saskatchewan 🇨🇦 that featured a balcony that encircled the dance floor. During the performance, Tortelvis exclaimed he needed a beer. As I was standing directly in front of the stage, I turned around and offered to "Piggy~Back" him to the bar while he kept singing. We traveled about 20' before encountering the overhanging said balcony. Undaunted, I squatted into a duck walk and carried on! We arrived at the ready bartender, who passed him a MOLSON CANADIAN, and we sallied forth back to the stage to the roaring approval of the band and fans alike!
    Tally~Ho, Tortelvis! TALLY~HO!!

      To have piggy-baacked Tortelvis for more than 10', much less to the bar and back is indeed a most worthy endeavor. An endeavor worthy of redemption, redeemable shortly after death; " A voyage straight to the Pearly Gates ,where St. Pete will certainly invite you in-and give you a seat in the bar the just down the way from the gates. At this bar you will receive drinks for, oh...lets say 100 years and enjoy the helluva band that plays the bar 365". Jimi gives guitar lessons in the day, Mon-Wed. Sign-up asap, St. Pete's are at noon till 1:00, you may have the 1:15 slot. (Get there early for the righteous herb.) -Miguel, St. Petes Assistant. See-ya whenever.

    Dread Zep is astoundingly entertaining. The music of Zep, sung by Elvis. Very innovative. The only time I saw you guys was at downtown Houston's Party on the Plaza, probably early 90's. My two fav bands of this type were Trout Fishing in America and Dread Zeppelin. Thanks for the entertainment guys!

    Dread Zeppelin is finishing the job The Sex Pistols started: killing rock and roll. This is fantastic art performance. Love the idea of an Elvis impersonator taking the place of Robert Plant. Love this band. Very funny and different.

      @RockSchooled 10 лет назад +10

      Charlie Mopps Yeah, because if you read too much into things you might learn something, be inspired, see things in different ways, develop deeper understanding or further your enlightenment. We can't have any of that now can we? Moron.

      ***** The guy's comment was characteristic RUclips ignorance. To combat it with the ridicule it deserves is necessary. If you read that as hostility you should probably try to be a bit less sensitive.

    • @RockSchooled
      @RockSchooled 10 лет назад +2

      Charlie Mopps Haha, am I surprised you followed up your first comment with further lack of thought of any depth whatsoever? No. The fact that you don't even understand what's wrong with your original comment is amazing. Should you ever meet a musician, be sure to share your 'wisdom' with them, especially if you want to assert yourself as an idiot.
