    Just flip open the cover to access the grease fitting don’t need to remove the manual tube. Also tube makes a great place for a wrench or two .

    I really like that chipper. A friend asked us to trim the PTO on a new attachment he bought and I know what you mean about taking it slowly but I guess that is why he did not want to do it. It will be good to see how well it works when you get into those trails

      Yes! It’s like - I’m excited to use it but I’m not excited to use it 😂 it’s going to be great exercise! Thanks for the comment!

    How's she goin'? The chipper is a beast eh!!! I like the hydraulic feeder. You were chipping some pretty big stuff and it had no troubles. That's great!!! Take care!!

      It’s great so far but I’m hardly entitled to an opinion since it’s so new. It doesn’t like the leaves or pine needles but it’s a wood chipper and not a leaf chipper after all. Thanks Mike!

    Hey there thanks for posting this. I'm about to pull the trigger on this same unit for my bx23s, Any regrets a year later? Also I kinda wish you showed cutting the PTO shaft, how bad of a process was that?

    • @KillingItCountry
      @KillingItCountry  Год назад +2

      It’s the first PTO shaft I’d ever cut and I was so nervous I didn’t film it LOL 😬 The instructions were adequate. My only gripe with the chipper is that it doesn’t handle the green stuff very well. I’m always having to pull out material and feed it back in in smaller batches. Other than that it’s a beast it will definitely handle up to 4 inches and the BX has more than enough power to run it!! All the best!!

    Do you love it? I love my WC68. I bought it (barely) used, so I saved $1k, and it was already assembled :)

      ED!! I do love it! It’s been great so far but it’s still very new and there’s lots of time for things to go terribly wrong with it! Haha. Wow - 1k saved and almost brand new - that’s great for a woodland mills product as they don’t really go on sale. Thanks for the watch and comment! Have a great week! 👋

    How much did you trim off your PTO shaft? Looks like 9 to 9 and one half inches.

    • @KillingItCountry
      @KillingItCountry  3 года назад

      I honestly can’t remember for sure - but I feel that 9-9.5” is too much.

    • @pwworden1
      @pwworden1 3 года назад

      I am calculating 9 inches as well. if it is 9 inches that only leaves about 5 inches of overlap which is less than the 6 indicated is required. Have you trimmed the PTO shaft? If so how much did you end up trimming?

    • @KillingItCountry
      @KillingItCountry  3 года назад

      @@pwworden1 unfortunately I don’t remember. If you can give me the original length of the two shafts I will measure mine now that I’ve cut them. I don’t have the cut pieces anymore - long gone to scrap metal.

    • @pwworden1
      @pwworden1 3 года назад

      @@KillingItCountry I measured outer cover from first ridge on outer cover to end of outer cover is 12 7/8" and shaft extends 1 7/8" past for shaft length of 14". Or when putting a tape measure down the center of the outer shaft it measures 16". Original length of compressed shaft in per operators manual is 29 7/16". I appreciate your help with this.

      @@pwworden1 glad to help if I’m able! I found this process to be horrible. Send me an e-mail to killingitcountry@gmail.com and I will send you photos of a tape measure overlaid on the pto shaft so there will be no confusion.

    Amazon is here Dad, Just make sure he does what he needs to do and leaves. WTF does that mean?

    • @KillingItCountry

      Our Amazon guy isn’t the best driver. At the time of this video, he had just reserved onto my lawn and buried the back of his rear wheel drive van up to the axle. Not happy. He needs to pay better attention and stop driving by feel. Naturally, as a result of this occurrence, when the Amazon guy comes - I’m happy to see him leave! Thanks or watching!
