Once again great video wish I had chipper like that You woodchucks keep on finding interesting toys. It’s great the way Tony and you do the walk around on the equipment. Once again great video be safe and the wood flying. Don
We have trees and have made our own garden mulch using our chippers. Saves us money and time. Could not live without them, they make gardening a little easier and last expensive.
In a previous video I mentioned the peat value in the scrap wood. I see Tony is on the same page for planting. Great segment hope you guys keep up the great equipment videos.
Morning. Happy Memorial Day. Another great video from the Tony’s Toys series. Chipper would be very handy tool. If I had one there would be no critters living in my woods. There would be nothing for them to hide in! 😂 👍🏻👍🏻 GNI
Nice chipper, I've looked at those before. I owned a nice Bandit self powered chipper for a while and used is a fair amount. Ultimately I sold it and went back to burning my brush. If you have brush to deal with I think there are two main paths you can take. A chipper or a grapple and burn pile. Having done a lot of both I think the grapple and burn pile is the better option and consumes less of your time overall. Brush piles can be burning even when you're not standing in front of it if the weather conditions allow. If you're looking to use the chips for something like gardening then a chipper is obviously the way to go. Nice video guys.
Good Morning from Southern WI, I have the SAME setup...Kioti & Woodland Mills Chipper. Absolutely love both and they get the job done well. My in-feed wheel does not jam as often in the video, not sure why it is doing that. Nothing better than cutting up wood and spending time outside all day.
Great post, the dry pine at the end of the vid would make great home heating wood. Loaded up full into the range or fireplace, compacted with air channel it will burn completely. Price of coal, turf, oil and wood is mad, we use chips for maybe about 50% of our heating needs, it could be all if i was to use range and fireplace one after the other.
Happy Memorail Day Chris i love chippers when they were working on 41 by my house they had a monster chipper putting in full trees filling dump trailers what a waist of maple and oak trees the trees were huge
Good morning Chris and Tony!!😀😀 The paint finally got scratched on the indeed shut that day. That chipper dose a beautiful job. The Kioti didn't even seem to work hard running it. Take care my friends!!😀😀
That chipper looks brand spanking new. Almost like it has recently been cleaned really well with a cleaning agent. I find it a little strange we hear mention of wives but have never seen either. I sure would like to borrow that chipper for an hour or two sometime
That's true, it's the spark arrestor. My climbing saw did that, I removed it and it runs perfect now. They are only around 2.50 or 3$ to replace, but I never think of it at my dealer. My other saws have never had that problem so far. They are a 311 and a 500I, used every day.
The lip inside the shoot can be adjusted so it's gone. Loosen the bottom six screws , then use a floor jack on the bottom handle between the clamps. Jack it up so it's flush and tighten your bolts.✌🏻
So if you dry the limbs for a couple years... Could you chip them and use them in your boiler? The power plants take the chips so do paper Mills... Just seems like a bucket of chips should have plenty of energy and a slow burn rate...
I bought it from a place called Mirsburgers in Hilbert Wisconsin. It will be on their web sight listed as PJ dump trailer. Mine is a deck over 10x6x2 and is a #7000 .
Again, Tony is a bad influence, now he's got me in his sights and its going to cost me $$$ now. That chipper is perfectly sized, figuring anything larger then 5" goes on the firewood racks anyway. Easy to see why Fiskars paid Tony well. Very informative and easy to see how well a tractor and chipper combo might wind up on our equipment to buy list. Bet a lot of us will be hustling faster to pay for more toys like Tony's got 🚜🔥🪓
Good morning from Pennsylvania. Happy Memorial Day, let us never forget!
You got that right Rick!
Love the smack talk between you two. Good morning from New Mexico.
Yup, smack talk is how guys that are friends show affection without getting to sappy!
Great video nice wood chipper. Thanks for sharing with us Chris
Thanks for watching John!
I love mine! Bought it last fall. Great piece of equipment for my tree farm. Get some chaps!! Great video!
Yes I was a bad boy for not wearing them, have two pairs!
Love that chipper. Right now they are back ordered. Like everything else!
Yes, I know, my tractor is on a boat in the ocean somewhere!!!

Thanks Donald, Tony has all the cool toys!

Nice!
I think Tony should be my new best friend. He's a very intelligent man, and he has lots of cool toys!
Sorry, I am not sharing! HA!
@@toddbadham3370 He just moved to his new house from another state a year ago and sold off his old stuff so it is new! I like new toys the best! HA!
In a previous video I mentioned the peat value in the scrap wood.
I see Tony is on the same page for planting.
Great segment hope you guys keep up the great equipment videos.
Yes, we will, there is a lot more to come yet!
Love the absolute stream of chips that pour out of that thing when you're putting the 2-3" diameter stuff through.
YES, it does a good job!
I usually load big end first so the branches bend and feed better.
Good tip! Thanks Gordon.
impressive machine!! thanx for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Tony is that kid who grew up in the neighbourhood that had all the cool stuff ie minibike BB gun etc.
Ha! Probably!
Naw, I doubt that. The kid like that in my neighborhood is either in prison or dead from drugs now.
Love the videos! Keep it up!
Glad you like them!
G’afternoon Chris. Wow. That is awesome ! Looks like he has it all. gOODnIGHTiRENE
We are just getting started, lots more to come yet!
You are living the dream! I know a lot of us are jealous.
I have fun everyday! I might be the last!
Good morning from southern Wisconsin
Honor and Remember 🇺🇸
Yes today is a more important holiday than most others!
I can see where that could become addictive. Looks like a lot of fun.
Yes, it is a blast, I did not want to stop feeding it!
Morning. Happy Memorial Day. Another great video from the Tony’s Toys series. Chipper would be very handy tool. If I had one there would be no critters living in my woods. There would be nothing for them to hide in! 😂 👍🏻👍🏻 GNI
Yup, I would deforest the state if I had one, it is fun to feed!

Yes it is a nice tool but I also like burning brush too!
Unless you don’t have the proper clearing for a burn pile 🔥

The wood was soft and kinda punky so it did not grab it well like green wood. Thanks for watching!
What else can I say , IAM jealous !
It is a very fun tool/toy!
be nice Chris ha ha he has some fun toys for sure, wish i had a tractor and a chipper !
Ya, that chipper would be a handy tool for sure, you could use it for frozen beaver and moose carcasses to make bait! HA!
Good morning from Vermont!

Thanks Tony, yup all wood burns.

Yes, I have seen the big chippers putting in big stuff too! I wanted to stop and take it home !
You keep on recording this guy your gonna make me go broke, awesome video.
Sorry! You wife will have to get another job! HA!
Man what don’t this guy have!!👍👍
We are just getting started!
Hi chris you enjoy playing with your neighbor toy have fun laughing is good health
Yes, we do have fun together!
Good Morning from St-Barthelemy Quebec,
Hello there!
Good morning from oregon
Morning Carl!
Good morning Chris and Tony!!😀😀
The paint finally got scratched on the indeed shut that day. That chipper dose a beautiful job. The Kioti didn't even seem to work hard running it.

Yes, that toy is a fun one to run! Have a good one!
Tony is Da Man!!!
Yes he is!
@@InTheWoodyard you Ain’t no chopped Liver yourself...
Goot morning mister Christ great educational video since l'm an ecologist
Good morning! Thanks for watching!
142! 12/29/22. Tony's cool Tools in the house
Yup, he is in a bunch from that time of the channel, now we have a hard time getting together!!
Good morning from NW Ohio
Morning Gary!
That chipper looks brand spanking new. Almost like it has recently been cleaned really well with a cleaning agent. I find it a little strange we hear mention of wives but have never seen either. I sure would like to borrow that chipper for an hour or two sometime
Our wives are not into firewood or toys. But that is okay!
@@InTheWoodyard sorry, weak attempt at humor. Missing wives on a wood chipper video
@@kimberly1567 Got it now, I am a little slow you know!
Good way of reducing the air gaps, ratio between 15 and 17 to1,see pile of chips ratio to the un-chipped pile but still weighs the same.
Yes it works nice for sure!
Ha! I love Fargo. Oh yah!
Ya der hey!
The forward and reverse handle should be on the top of the shut
The limbs kept cutting it off
I think it shut off because we where putting in dead soft punky wood and the intake just crushed it instead of pulling it in.
Grapple and a burn pile. Tony might want to put the cart on the downwind side as well.
Yes, good call, we just started chipping!
Just when I thought Tony had shown all his toys, he pulls out a chipper
He has more!
That cart is definitely worth a few bucks! I haven't seen Fargo, but I heard it was good. I will watch soon.
It is a good one, especially the chipper scene!
Be careful mentioning Fargo, you are age dating all of us. Yes, I remember the chipper scene. Still say he needed sharper knives. Lol
Chipping is much safer than butning brush here and there throughout the woods, or even in one spot.
Yes, and it looks great too!
Have a Safe Memorial Day!!
Thanks David!
I think the safety bar is a bit too loose as it kept going to neutral on its own. It's covered in the manual how to adjust it more stiff
Thanks, I'll let Tony know about that!
It's the pressure relief valve. It needs to be adjusted.
There can’t be many toys left in Tony’s toy box now?..........🚜
He has lots more, you will see!
Haven’t seen a good morning from Kansas City yet so here goes..... Go Chiefs!
Yes, thanks for watching Tim!
👍
Thanks!
What type of bracket is holding the tool box to the ROPS? Thanks
I think it is just a u-bolt.
You could use that chipper in your wood yard !
Yes I could, maybe I'll have to get one!!
Saw how that small saw kinda choked when first getting fuel. My dad said their is a something in the muffler that gets fouled and causes the problem.
Yes, I noticed that it needs some work.
Thanks I'll mention it to Tony!
That's true, it's the spark arrestor. My climbing saw did that, I removed it and it runs perfect now. They are only around 2.50 or 3$ to replace, but I never think of it at my dealer. My other saws have never had that problem so far. They are a 311 and a 500I, used every day.
Damn, I could use one of those.
Me too, it is useful and addictive!
It doesn't look like it throws the chips very far, how well would it load a dump trailer from the end?
I do not know, that is a good question??
The lip inside the shoot can be adjusted so it's gone. Loosen the bottom six screws , then use a floor jack on the bottom handle between the clamps. Jack it up so it's flush and tighten your bolts.✌🏻
Thanks for the tips!
I have that problem too, i will have to note this and look at it next time i have the chipper hooked up. Thank you.
So if you dry the limbs for a couple years... Could you chip them and use them in your boiler? The power plants take the chips so do paper Mills... Just seems like a bucket of chips should have plenty of energy and a slow burn rate...
I would think it would work in an aspirated stove
I don't know why not! Seems like a good idea!
Can you run this model chipper on a 19 PTO hp. I have a 2019 John Deere 2025r. Looking at this model and the 46
I doubt it, more power might be needed????
Also if it keeps disengaging then the feed speed is too high for the thickness/hardness of the material your chipping.
Yup
What size tractor are you using? Thanks
That was a Kioti CK 4010 I think.
What is the model of your dump trailer?
I bought it from a place called Mirsburgers in Hilbert Wisconsin. It will be on their web sight listed as PJ dump trailer. Mine is a deck over 10x6x2 and is a #7000 .
Good morning from Grand Forks
Good morning Dean!
What is the HP of this Tractor he is running?
I think it is 40?
Hopefully you learn what that chain brakes for..
Yup
Speaking of wood chippers, any one remember Jimmy Hoffa?
Did he get chipped? Do you have first hand knowledge?
Saw the movie, that guy wasn’t shot, he was deso
Disposed of.
Hoffa was cremated just down the street from where he was killed. Read the book written by his associate.
you seemed to have a lot of trouble with the forward lever. Did I miss the comment but it seemed very poor you had to keeping to activate the feeder
The safety was very touchy..too much so.
Hello!! How much for this wood chip?
I do not know, sorry it was not mine.
I just got my new woodland mills catalog and price list this week. This chipper is listed at $2999.00
The chipper appears to cut the feed out too easily and somewhat unnecessary.
Yes it might need to be adjusted a bit.
Again, Tony is a bad influence, now he's got me in his sights and its going to cost me $$$ now. That chipper is perfectly sized, figuring anything larger then 5" goes on the firewood racks anyway.

Thanks Kenny, yes the chipper is very nice and fun to use. YES! The people who gave us freedom deserve more than we can give them!
Both Wood Max chipper and Woodland Mills chipper are the same chipper and both are made in China. Only difference is price
Thanks for the info!
