These are the best sounding earbuds I've ever had (I've returned a lot). The EQ is the best also! The only thing I gated was these do not last very long before one side goes out if your ear gets dirty easily and these get dirt in them or if you're a little rough with them, but still worth it if you get a protection Plan. I've still bought them again after going out because they sound that good.

Were you playing crowd noise at all? Soundcore call quality is superb as usual but we have to really talk about those customizable controls. You get the full spectrum and you can disable anyone you want. No more control issues at all! THAT is the way you get it done. I like the fact that they kept the case design the same. You can use any eartips you want and they will fit in these cases without the cases being too big. The only real negative is the IP rating. I wouldn't feel comfortable in the rain with IPX4 buds. Other than that, this has everything one can think of. I think some people may be underselling this, this certainly looks like the best all-round earbud of 2021.
It sounds like i have to upgrade my Liberty 2 Pros because i have been wanting that ambient mode on them and that the ANC is that good is just amazing for the price.. Soundcore never disappoint.. 🥰

@@Noirfury no i didn't get the 3 pros, but i can say that they sounds the same only added ANC to them.. so it depends on how important that feature is for you.. but the Liberty 2 Pros sound AMAZING and have huge impacting bass for earbuds.. you won't regret it..

Great review! The Soundcore Liberty 2 Pros were my daily earbuds for about a year until the WF-1000XM4's came out. As much as I love the Sonys, I might have to move the Liberty 3 Pro's now, as the 2 Pros were already excellent, and these appear to be even better.

@@shanew7361 honestly no...I don't have any complaints really... they sound fantastic... tons of personalisation... very good anc...(only a notch or so below the sonys or bose) ..I'm really impressed. I would recommend these bad boys to anybody. The only reason I could see someone not liking them is if they have very small ears or they don't like touch controls.... I've had zero ear fatigue and forget they are in my ears... very stable with the wings as well..I work out with them too. Great set of buds overall

Wish they offered a matte black option. I can't stand glossy earbuds. Easy fix, though. I'll just manually distress mine using steel wool. Now, all Soundcore needs to do is add the audio retransmission feature like the Bowers & Wilkens PI7's. They could literally charge $100 more and they would absolutely own the ANC wireless earbuds market. They could even offer an optional replacement case that works with the Liberty 3 Pros, and I would buy it for $100. Imagine flying internationally and being able to use your earbuds to watch in-flight movies! Or going to a sporting event and using a portable radio to listen to the broadcast! That would absolutely put Soundcore at the top of the mountain!
Spent a fortune on earbuds and I have a lot of the famous ones in the upper quality bracket, Sony, Sennheiser, B&O, Bose QC2, and the very frustrating Bowers and Watkins (lovely sound, appalling bluetooth connection issues.)THESE are amazing. Love them out of box, but I love all the available tweaks in sound with the app. Incredible value for money, but incredible performers too. I absolutely love them.
Actually, since I posted this comment, I have been using the default eq setting, but either way, these are seriously impressive earbuds at a much more fair price than their equal in sound competitors.
Just ordered them for 149.99. Bought the liberty 2 pro with ldac but am returning them for the anc, smaller size and slightly upgraded drivers. The 2 pro with ldacs are SOO nice though. Couldn't NOT pay $20 more for the best of the best. Eq is custom with rock. Sounds the best for me

Following up on my previous post - I just got these to replace my Sabbat E12 which died a horrifying death. The soundcore's are blowing my mind. I am connecting to a galaxy s21 ultra using LDAC and the sound quality is amazeballs. I listened to Phil Collins, "In the air tonight" and heard background vocals in my left ear that I have never heard in my life - and I went to the concert when that album came out! Seriously, the ONLY things I don't love about these revolve around the case, not the buds. FWIW, I am also using foam ear tips.
I have been screaming for this since I got the L2P because I felt there was so much room for more at that price point! Yes! I still love the L2P just the same.

To thus day l2p are my favorite sounding amd easily hardest hitting pair of earbuds I've owned.... the edifier neobuds pro for sound are 2nd but I returned those cuz of horrible battery life but also owned sennheiser m2 Samsung galaxy buds pro xm3 xm4 never will I buy sony again but got a feeling these are gonna be the best of the best
Likewise I ordered these immediately the L2p we're my favorite earbuds for a year used them daily, I ordered a pair of edifier neobuds pro bc I wanted noice cancelling, just saw Anker release these, ordered immediately and I'm going to return the edifiers.
@@raulespinoza8668 lol that's exactly what I did... loved the sound and amc of edifier but deal breaker for me was when they added ldac with ldac and anc on high and volume max I only got 1 hr 25 min and that was connected to my note 20 ultra when that happened I went nope that ain't gonna work so returned to amazon so when these went up yesterday with the edifier return I paid another 22 bucks outta pocket for these. These are gonna be the earbuds of the year....every review has been positive but had my l2p since Dec 2019 used daily 6 to 10hrs a day amd they never gave me any trouble but lately with job I found the transparency mode in earbuds to be super helpful amd anc at times too amd I almost ordered the 2 pro + but had feelin these were coming and happy I sat tight

Flagship of the Year, arguably yes. Earbud of the Year...I would argue the Soundcore Life P3, 1More Comfo Buds Pro, or the EarFunFree Pro are all delivering performance and features considerably well above their respective price points. IMHO.

I just got the liberty pro 2 they were on sale for 100$ cdn compared to 200$ cdn. So it was worth it to me, but i guess it depends if you want transparency mode, and anc.

Great review, they're my new favorite over Sony. These would be bulletproof if the Transparency mode was a little better, thats my only gripe but they're great for the price. I did the same with my Hear ID, liked it at first but eventually went back to Soundcore Signature as it seemed too bright and was kind of ear piercing at times.

@@swatlq5562 it’s gotten much better with updates over the year. I’d say right now it’s a great pair. Treble is still a bit high and hard to get under control without muddying up the clarity. I ended up going with a preset by Coke Marsden Grief-Neill as he was closed to the genre of hard rock that I listen to most. He worked on a Beck album I believe it was.

@@swatlq5562 I have not tired the Liberty 4s yet but the Liberty 3 Pro are a great all around pair for sound, phone calls, and noise canceling/transparency. It does look like they dialed back some of the drivers on the new ones. With it being a year old I’d wait tell the end of the week, Soundcore usually runs deals on other buds for Black Friday. I did try the Sleep A40, they fit great and cancel and transparency are both great but sound quality isn’t very good. I’d say wait for a Black Friday deal then grab the L3P, great budget pair.

These came in surprising me...was planning to keep the XM4s for much longer, but they were uncomfortable after a while...even with Comply foam tips
Ordered the Liberty Pro 3 on Thursday and they surprisingly came in 2 weeks before ETA...these are comfortable and sound much better. ANC is very close to the Sony's as well

@@shanew7361 XM4s are ok as a daily driver. They feel like they're on a leash though. The hardware feels like it's capable of so much more but they're held back.
Nope too expensive… for now. I have the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro and they are so good my wife asked me to buy her a pink pair. If and when the price comes down, probably 2022, then I will revisit. For now the high price can’t justify upgrading from the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro for me.

Disagree about these being too expensive - you can't find any true wireless earbuds anywhere that includes all the features we want, so the price is absolutely justified. However you are right, smart move to keep an eye out for price drops 👀

I just bought the liberty 2 pro+ couple days ago,i gonna return it.
Guess I'm the only one disappointed that they went from buttons to touch controls. I work with gloves and touch controls don't work more of time. Will still pick these up. But no rush now.
I use to think the too, but I got the life2 anc and now I've got no fear of touch response.. I've rarely had accidental touches ,,I think you will like em.. good luck...
I was just about to order the Status Between 3 driver buds (their ads were popping up EVERYWHERE I turned), but I watched a comparison video with these. After watching a couple more videos with everyone singing Soundcore Liberty 3 praises, I decided to go with them instead.
VS Lyperteks line-up? I have the old Tevi and am looking at replacing them soon. I love them, but after a year of use, everyday, on a construction site, they honestly still work great but it is time to get a new pair.
Good to have more multipoint options since it looks like Jabra is following the crowd.
Also, since ldac is a high res connection, and something like Amazon music has multiple HD and UHD files, they all diff. What I mean is, an HD file on Amazon typically plays at 16 bit, 44.1khz. With my phone, under developer options you have to change these manually to match up what Amazon plays it at(even though it says what your device is playing it at on the Amazon music app, it doesn't change it under developer options which is the reason why for alot of the bright overly sharp treibble. (you have to change it for most songs unless you play a bunch of HD songs in a row, and then UHD in a row then you just leave the settings). Once you have it matched up, it's golden.

The Sennheiser CX Plus were my number 1 overall earbud for this year. Gotta admit these make a STRONG case. The sound really is incredible.
ONE nit picking ass critique -> when using the earbuds individually it would be nice if the controls you chose were still active. Unfortunately in mono mode it resets the settings. Change that and to me these are a flawless earbud.
Can't wait for your top 10 near the end of the year. It is going to be TOUGHHHHHH this year. This 150-200 dollar segment of the market is rivaling those in the 300-400 dollar tier!

I hope more earbud manufacturers apply multipoint technology thats one feature of airpods pro i really like with their apple devices but i hate that its tied to the apple ecosystem
Clearly the best for clarity. These are awesome once fine tuned.
The Liberty 3 Pros are good, but there ARE drawbacks. First, they have some significant audio hiss, and that can be very distracting. Second, their design makes them hard to form a good seal. You have to insert them and then give them a twist. It is ESSENTIAL to use the "fit test" that comes with the app, to verify whether you have a good seal. l guaranty you, you will have to manipulate these earbuds a few times to get that good seal, and even then, they don't necessarily stay in place.
Notice not one RUclipsr has tested the wearing detection because it doesn't work on these buds.
Music stops when take the buds out but it doesn't resume playback automatically when put them back in.
Does each earbud have its own connection to the phone or is one a master and one a slave?

I guess my only gripe with your channel I have is that everytime you come out with a really good pair of wireless earbuds I would have bought the previous one already.
My soundcore liberty pro 2 is awesome and very underrated, majority reviewers love it but scare to put them on top above all, I have senheiser, bowers wilkins, galaxy pro buds, the pro 2 overall I dare say are better. So now here's the pro 3 getting rave reviews and I'm waiting for reviewers dare to hurt feelings of more expensive known name buds because soundcore became the king for now with the pro 3.

I don't understand this trend to boost bass and treble frequencies in music to extremes. Music is mostly focused in the midrange naturally. Most audio engineers (real engineers) will tell you they always start by mixing the midrange and fine tuning the lows and highs around them. That's what forms a solid mix. Yes, it's nice to have bass extension and sparkly highs, but not at the sacrifice of the mids. There needs to be a balance, otherwise there is an imbalance.
My conclusion was the tendency for low frequencies to get lost outdoors or in noisy environs. The brightness I assume is because so many people are quite frankly, kinda deaf lol
I cringe when people say 70% or higher is their general listening level - what?? My volume never passes 40 unless the source content is really low. At the lower levels to which my ears are accustomed, the emphasized bass and treble is actually quite pleasant with mild tweaks to mids as necessary.
@@outermarker5801 I tested a Harmon curve adjustment I found on a guy's Github as well as Sound On Sound's recommended EQ adjustment. I liked the SOS better but boosted the bass slightly more and slightly tweaked the treble to my own taste. Now I really like the way they sound. Before they were a little hollow. Now they actually rival my $500 headphones in some ways.

Now hopefully we can get a dual driver set up for the q40...I love my q30 but the lack or tone down treble is apparent.. if that happens, they will have a winning pair ....I use the life2 anc, beautiful sound but almost no anc, so these look appealing..

Don‘t expect too much from the ambient mode. Just tried them out, ambient is not their strength 😕

I experienced some drop out with my soundcores today
and the right side isnt as snug as the left side, such a nuisance to adjust because I can hear outside noise seep through. Im using the smallest tips but the size up is too big so I dont know what to do.
as far as audio quality, I definitely put it up there. I have the XM4s as well and I real put these up there with them. The only thing I give the xm4's is that they are noticeably better than the soundcores with its active noise cancellation and transparency mode, not even close. I hate the foam tips for the sonys though

CAUTION: i have sennheiser 300cx, and soundcore liberty pro 2. I recently bought the liberty pro 3. They sound great, but BIG problem. The buds are now coated with ta shiny gold on the inside. Im assuming its nickle plated . My ears have been getting infected every time i put them on. Do not buy if ur ears are allergic to nickle. Im assuming its nickle on the buds. Im hearing the same nickle related issue with the new samsung buds pro. Ive never had issue with my previous buds :(
