    UPDATE! Firmware version 3.69 has dramatically improved the transparency mode! Voices are a lot clearer and natural. Distant noise now sounds normal (this was the biggest improvement). Overall I'd be happy to use transparency when having a conversation and the overall quality is very close to the Liberty 4. Soundcore once again showing why they're the kings. 🙌

    This look really a promising TWS. I will have these TWS tomorrow, ordered it online. I do think we have the same taste and what we are looking for in a TWS. I even prefer this over the Liberty 4 cuz of the bassy signature, we prefer to be bassy and we want full richer sound overall. I understand you because you compared the W240TN to 4NC, that's my previous tws, and it sounds meh and seriously lacking for me out of the box, it got better when I tuned the EQ though. ANC and transparency are also good in W240TN, but after seeing you ranked it 10th and placing 4NC on 5th in terms of ANC, it made me realized I made a good choice there afterall. Haven't tried higher models of Soundcore before, I hope this brand will turn things around. Also good to hear that Transparency was fixed after the update. I'm looking forward, nice content Picky Audio glad to have watched this😁👌

      Other than that, it's pretty much matches it feature for feature and probably gets better battery life. That was pretty much what they did with the space a40. Got worst drivers, worst microphones but otherwise retained all the major features like multipoint and LDAC

    You're the only reviewer who's ever mentioned Mono audio when using 1 earbud. Thanks for that.
    Can you confirm if that's still the case please? Is it possible that a software update fixed this?

    • @ClementHonore
      @ClementHonore 9 месяцев назад

      I've contacted soundcore support about that. Here is there answer :
      "When using only one earbud of the Liberty 4 or Liberty 4 NC, the audio output will remain according to the settings on your phone. If your phone is set to play stereo sound, it will continue to do so, and you will hear both the left and right channels in the one earbud."
      So I guess we can call this "mono" if the left and right channels go to one earbud? 😅

    Hi Mate, as always come to your channel for a new pair of buds, was using the EarFun air pro 2s but lost the case and a bud the other day, but they were terrible, tried the pro 3s a while ago but didn’t like no in ear detection. Just scrolling through your videos, and stuck between the Liberty 4NC,s, Space A40s or the EarFun Air Pro 3s again as all 3 of my list doesn’t have in ear detection, the main reason I use them is for taking and making calls outdoors in fairy noisy windy places (work) _ The soundcore pairs are both £80gbp, can get the EarFun pair for £58, which out the 3 do you honestly recommend. Are soundcores worth £22 more?

    Beware of poor battery life. A week ago, I decided to test the actual battery life after having it for a year. With ANC on, SBC Codec, it only lasted for about 6 hours. I purchase this from Amazon US. Since they can't ship replacement to NZ they offer me 40% refund, not from price of purchase, but on the price of the current price which was lower than what I paid. The 40% according to the support is because I still have about 5 months left for warranty.

    I bought Soundcore Liberty 4 NC today and after pairing with Samsung Galaxy Mobile phone, it works ok, but I disappointed it does not work well with my MS Surface Pro 8. It does not have app to download for Windows 11, but it still can be connected. The problem is after connecting with MS Surface Pro 8, the sound was so poor and cannot be adjusted.
    I also have another one Earbuds Samsung Galaxy pro, I connected with MS Surface Pro 8, it works ok, the sound still not satisfy, but it better than SoundCore Liberty 4 NC. Please bear in mind before buying it, think carefully.
    Anyone has a good idea, please share. THANKS.

    *These are great, I own a pair. BUT the battery life is NOWHERE NEAR the claimed 8-10 hours if you actually use the features that make these great. Turn on LDAC and ANC and run time drops to 3-3.5 hours at moderate volume. Turn on game mode and crank the volume and it's more like 2.5-3 hours. Still great buds but the battery claims are wildly deceptive by Soundcore.*

    Hey, i ran my buds down all the way to 0%, and I squeezed out around 6h30m - 7h (barely touching 7 hours). After some digging, I found a reddit post where someone copy and pasted the email they got from soundcore after inquiring about the battery life. The email stated "8 hours with ANC off and 6 hours with it on." I'm teetering on the decision of tossing these but I absolutely love the sound and ANC. Any recommendations for ANC like the L4NC at the same price point?
