    I ordered a pair from Amazon on the strength of your review, and I am so glad I did! I got 20% off from Amazon last week, making the Liberty 4NC $80. These are absolutely a superior replacement for my Apple Airpods 2. I am going to use these in place of the Airpods Pro I was planning to buy. Thanks for the great recommendation!

      How is the bluetooth connectivity and mic input for phone calls? Are people able to hear you without problems and without background noise?

    • @middle-aged-mom-discoversstuff
      @middle-aged-mom-discoversstuff Год назад +1

      @@SinanTrance The connectivity is fine - not quite as seamless as with Apple airpods, but very, very close. I use these for Zoom tutoring sessions and work conference calls, so voice quality does matter. I tested with clients and was told that my voice is ever so slightly more tinny and treble-y. My two problems with these are 1) They keep falling out of my ears despite changing tips, probably because I have a lot of piercings AND because I am a fidgety person. 2) I kept disconnecting calls when trying to reinsert or adjust the earpods because of the onboard controls. I fixed this by simply disabling that functionality since I really don't need it Sound quality for me is outstanding, and noise cancelling is very good.

Im happy with these and im excited to see what the market holds for me if i can hold onto these for as long as the buds plus.

    Thank you Patrick for this review. It's the only one I've found where, with you stating "I wanna hear my own music without having to hear the terrible music selection at the local gym", I can identify! This is my situation bang on! My gym blares crap, and my Koss on ear headphones are useless at blocking that out, unless I listen to only loud rock or dance music all the time, which is not what I want. Over the years, I have never been able to wear buds, and they don't stay in my ears, but hopefully with the different size choices, these will!

    I had two air pod pros that I bought at roughly the same time in 2021. Even though I divided the amount I m between the two, meaning they should last twice as long, they both died after my apple care ended. I’m sorry, but I do t trust apple. It seems to me, they destroyed them through some kind of malware. I’m not a tech guy so I’m basing this only on a suspicion, but it seems awfully strange to me that two sets died this year for no apparent reason.

    I love my liberty 4’s and these seem extremely similar. In terms of them replacing my AirPods Pro one of the key features was that they had squeeze controls. For me not having those style of controls is a dealbreaker. I also experience a little bit of pain when tapping on earbuds when they’re in my ear canals

      These improve any of the issues I had with the old 4's. Better drivers, noise cancelling, fit... I wasn't impressed with the bass and now I am.
