He's talking about looking at both "sides" of the cosmos, the very small and the very large, and getting a better picture of the whole. No GUT yet, I'm afraid. ;)
edit: . . . . the Atheist faith that the physical world exists by chance. Who is your pick for most 'intelligent' believer that there is no God? This time don't falsely accuse a deceased person of being an Atheist.
He believes in what is provable, factual, and observable, he has forgotten more than you ever knew. Science enriches a life, blind religious faith cheapens it. For 1000 during the dark ages across Europe religion was forced on the entire continent and advances in science shunned and halted. (imagine what advances mankind would have now if we where 1000 years ahead if not for religion, religion cheapens life.
you wrote: "he has no evidence that any of the gods exist" Cox believes that life exists by chance, despite the fact that he himself is a procreation of conscious intent, and physical evidence that life is a creation of intelligence. Believers in Atheism are a small minority. Would you rather not name the most 'intelligent' believer in Atheism you possibly can?
Firstly Einstein is the most eminent person to say there is no evidence or need of a god if you really wish to know. Secondly I have never said I am a atheist you assumed as most christians do I am a humanist. there are dozens of theories on how life was created on earth. and there is one on how the physical world came to be it is called the big bang theory you may have heard of it. As I said I will no longer reply to your verdant faith rantings. Niether of us will change the others mind. bye
