Hello, when i screw down the last screws on the bottom the touchpad seems to get stuck, and no longer clicking. have you ever ran into this with a scuf?
I have the same controller and one of my back paddles isn’t working, it clicks but only seems to respond to 1/3 clicks, is there a way I could send to you to have a look? I’m in the UK
Hey, I have a quick question about a controller I repaired. The bumper on my scuf infinity xbox controller snapped off and I replaced it with a cheap ebay xbox elite controller bumper, now when I press them hard it also presses the triggers. Is this due to the scuf requiring a special part? Is it the cheap shitty part not fitting right? Or have I put it back together wrong? Couldn't find any videos about this on your channel, thanks :)
Hi, This most likly due to a shitty part. The 3rd party LB/RB buttons never realy seem to fit correctly even on original controllers. You usually have to move the micro switches back by heating up the solder untill the button actuates correctly. This is one of the reasons why we don't sell them on out site because 9/10 they're not a drop in replacment. If you can buy a faulty controller and use those buttons you are in with a chance or find genuine MS ones. Be aware there are different models of controller. Sorry for the not so straight forward answer.
@@UberMicroRepairs Thanks, I'll try buying some better bumpers. The controller is still usable so it's not the end of the world but it is kinda annoying when I'm sweating on cod and I throw a stun instead of adsing 🤣😭
Check inside the controller if SCUF didn't tape them down they easily slide out and get lost. We have new ones for sale. www.ubermicro.co.uk/product/scuf-compatible-metal-domes-for-rear-paddels/
I ordered some domes on February 16th. Got tracking for in on February 20th and it hasn’t moved since. I also emailed your business and didn’t get a reply. Can you help me get my domes or a refund? Is it normal to take over 1.5 months?

Hi, Could be the paddle dome going faulty. We have spares for sale on the website if you're confident in doing a DIY repair. www.ubermicro.co.uk/product/scuf-compatible-metal-domes-for-rear-paddels/
Hey, I opened my scuf controller to repair the back buttons. But now after that my controller wont connect anymore to my pc. The light goes on but doesnt make a connection with a cable. You maybe got a idea how this could happen or how to fix?
I used to drill it out. First using a centre punch and the making ahole with a 1.5mm drill bit. Then drill the head off with a 3mm drill bit. The main issue is not only getting it centred but the screw heats up and can start melting the plastic. I have since modified a game bit to fit these shitty screws!
Hi Colby. There are usually a couple of reasons. Most of the time the paddles lose the tactile click but still work as normal, or they click fine but start being sporadic with firing. It can be the domes (metal concave disks) or it can be the plastic plungers wearing out. Hard to say. Whenever I fix this issue, I replace the domes with brand new ones and clean the contact. If there is no tactile click (snap) but the paddle fires every time, I deem it as a fix because we cannot source new plastic plungers.
Hey I'm from Canada and I have a problem with my scuf controller. My left paddle doesn't register sometimes. Are you guys able to fix it for me even though I live in Canada?

Don’t know about the v numbers. The pcb model numbers for the infinity are JDM-040 / 050 & 055
What width is the kapton tape you use, thanks ☺️
Think it's 5mm.
What drill tip you used to remove the security screw?

Just normal selotape, I only use it to keep them in place while the board is screwed back down.
