Just some tips, ive had one of these for 6 years or so. The battery will go at some point, not scuf's fault, all dualshock 4's suffer from this. When that happens, Get an upgraded 2000 mah one from a reputable seller like adafruit. This will double the battery capacity from original. To extended it even more, you can go in an de-solder the rumble motors that EAT battery even when no being heavily used. I liked the extra weight too but it got old fast, and the battery dying faster did too, so sacrifices were made. Last tip, hall sensor joystick modules exist for these. When they inevitably get stick drift, as all scuf's eventually do, consider swapping out to some hall effects to extend their life. Takes a little soldering and some rather annoying yet simple calibrating and you have yourself stick drift proof joysticks, that is until your tension spring goes out but that wont happen anytime soon, id say 7 years+ of usage instead of the couple months you'll get with normal potentiometer sticks. That's all, enjoy it while it last, and then onto future proofing it (or option 2 go bitch on reddit about scuf, not that they dont deserve it lol but yall keep buying their shit!) great controller though.

    Hey, great video!
I do own a repair shop in germany specialized in controller and console repairs and I can safely say - Scuf is by far the worst when it comes to build quality! I repaired every controller you can think of (Scuf, Aim, BattleBeaver, Elite (pretty bad too), ... you name it) and Scuf does so many cheap modifications for their parts to fit etc. so I am surprised yours didn't fall apart yet. :D The High Performance Grip is made of the same material like their sticks. This will break down very quick if you play much. Their stick modules are oem alps, so just like sony. But they might drift faster due to the fact of the rubber from the sticks could make it into the modules. You can't change the sticks with oem sony ones because they'll grind on the outside of the housing. They use cheap metal domes for the paddles to click, which often break resulting in unresponsive paddles or completely broken. They even invented a security screw which is almost impossible to open, if you don't know how. There are no bits for it. There is so much more about their poor build quality but to keep it short - I would highly recommend not to buy a Scuf. BattleBeaver seems solid so far, although they drill their back button holes a little too big.

got my scuff infinity 4 years ago when black ops cold war came out since then i’ve consistently put 10-12 days with each cod release since then no issues aside replacing the thumb sticks they’re great controllers for the average player most of the comments you see are from people who are legitimately pro players or people who spend to much time in comments

235$ for a controller is insane. Does anyone agree? Scuff added 2-4 buttons on the back so the customer pays 235$ for that 😅

I will say, I would rather get a HexGaming, Battle Beaver, or HYPR controller over both of these controllers mentioned. Buttons are better than paddles, I own a SCUF Impact PS4 still; I use it as a backup for my Beaver. Regardless, SCUF was not as bad as people think during this era. The thumbsticks were bad, yes. People fail to realize that you cna change out the sticks lol. Supports PS5 Reflex thumbsticks, ps4 sticks, xbox sticks, etc.
    Anyways, solid review!!!

I use mine only on the weekends to play call of duty warzone. After six months they start having problems stick drifting. Six months warranty it’s what you get. They charge me $90 for it. All I can say, is be prepared to spend because they do break a lot.

Excuse me I highly recommend not buying Scuf Controllers I bought the Scuf. Reflex fps two weeks after buying it The controller came down with really bad thumbstick drift. and it is no normal thumbstick drift Y'all it is unplayable and both joysticks had thumbstick drift y'all this was my second Scuf ever and I promise it will be my last and I did all the stuff you were supposed to do to fix it and more but it still didn't work y'all I couldn't even play my game at all it was so bad Y'all don't be dumb like me and buy a Scuf cuz a RUclipsr said to get one it would be good Scuf controllers are very bad y'all I'm not even trying to sound like a hater or hat but y'all the Scuf controller was the worst controller I ever played with and I played with a controller with bad thumbstick drift but never one as bad as the Scuf Reflex fps I pad 350$ for it and wishing I never bought it or wishing I could get a refund end the end I was just very disappointed.

I was thinking of getting a nebula/galaxy scuf, I mainly want it because of the design rather than the paddles. Do you think it’s worth getting a scuf or just a different custom controller? I think the design on the scuf is better but not sure if it is worth the extra money. What do you think I should do? It would be a gift for my birthday.
