Absolutely paid £219 for controller PS5 b button sticks down after 4 months. Second Scuff, both have button issues, stay away or be prepared to replace within a year. I love the controller is awesome just did not last
You should make a video comparing the Instinct Pro, Relfex Pro, and Envision Pro. Or maybe since they aren't that different maybe just have a vidro going over all 3.
The lack of HALL effect sensors is a big deal breaker for me. I'd rather go with a *DualSense Edge* controller with _GuliKit Hall Effect Thumbstick replacement for DualSense Edge_
I ordered one of these a few days ago, although it was supposed to arrive two days ago and UPS is fucking around with my package. That said I'm really excited to compare it against my Razer Wolverine, which AFAIK is the only other controller on the market which has 4 paddles plus 2 extra buttons. On the Wolverine those 2 extra buttons are in between the bumpers which I feel is going to be a superior placement for me personally because I like to actuate buttons with my fingertips. What really has my interest with the scuf is those macro buttons, because I have *always* wanted that in a controller and it absolutely astounds me that even a company like Microsoft hasn't ventured into that arena. Being able to put macros on a controller, or even just bind them to keyboard buttons for games that are really intense on binds already, is going to really open up possibilities for an array of games. When my damn package gets to me instead of shipping all over the east coast and passing me twice (so far) for no discernible reason I'll be very eager to play with this thing.
mannnn i want to buy this so badly, i’m very tempted. It rly looks like Scuf has improved the quality of their controllers drastically. My last bought scuf was actually the Impact & I used that controller a ton for Black Ops 4 back around the PS4 Days Awesome controller but it barely lasted me two months as I got stick drift & one of the paddles just stopped being responsive. Ever since then, I just gave up on buying scuf altogether. Been rocking battle beavers recently but man as a PC gamer who loves to play competitive, this may be game changing to acquire. Amazing video nonetheless!
I had issues with mine after a couple months ..i got it for christmas ...i sent it in for an exchange ..didnt use the exchange but they just updated it 10 days ago to not need icue at all and its god tier now
I just found one in the garbage at work. I don't have the wireless dongle, or the extra accessories, buy I got it for free, and confirmed that it still works.
Just for the people on the fence about this controller. All of the issues people were complaining about have been fixed. Using this controller on PC is fantastic. Almost all the keys can be mapped to any keyboard press and can accept macros. It can hold a lot of different profiles for lots of different games. I can even use this controller in place of joysticks on star citizen by making the keyboard key binds directly to the controller.
Tried 2 but returned both due to pretty significant drift out of box, also the back paddles feel cheaper than the instincts. Other than that solid controller
Donot buy this controller for the love of god my stick drift my triggers trigger twice or sometimes don’t work at all I’m having to send it back if u do buy one buy the reflex i haven’t had a problem with it other than stick drift
I made a custom scuf ps5 with digital mouse click triggers I love it . Expensive so I did the payment plan lol but I do like it . Zero lag and 3 year warranty
I saw this in best buy the other day and I am a sucker for textured controllers like this....If it had offset sticks and dualsense features, I probably would have walked out of the store with it without a second thought.
I think so, the problem is they don't have the haptics and adaptive triggers. Not a deal breaker, but not the "everything" controller yet@@brettgastelum5330
I normally play exclusively with offset sticks because for the longest time Sony didn’t seem to understand controller ergonomics and they messed up every one of their controllers until the DualShock 4. For the most part the offset stick layout is the hill I will die on. But I got the Envision Pro recently and the symmetrical layout is surprisingly not a problem. It doesn’t feel like I’m stretching my hands to get my thumbs over to the thumbsticks, which is how I usually feel with most symmetrical layouts. Your mileage may vary, of course.
Pro Controller. While I have a PS5 I mostly play on my PC and I still use a controller so this looks like this be a fantastic choice to use on FPS games on PC my only concern is like everyone says is stick drift.
I recently started TV gaming, and I love being able to play games from bed but hate hand helds, so I made a micro that sits behind my tv and got this because it seems like the best controller for someone who struggles mightily to use a controller. This review we super helpful and reenforced my desire to order one.
does this feel closer to an xbox or switch pro controller? Trying to find a PC controller that has the feel of a switch pro controller as it is by far the most comfortable to me
I would always prefer the Nintendo pro/ Xbox controller layout over the Dualshock ones, if its for PC it should stick for the Xbox controllers layout, besides that, it looks cool.
THANK YOU A LOT for explaining how the touch pad doesn’t actually work I needed to know if it did because my pickaxe button in fortnite is the Touch Bar so now I need to switch my binds up so I can use this controller
Just read the Amazon reviews and a ton of people were saying the controller is basically useless because the ICUE software doesn’t work. I had a Corsair keyboard and mouse but hated the software so much I switched to Razer. I’m skeptical buying the envision if it HAS to be run through ICUE software….

Great Review !! I really liked this controller when I tried it. I just wish Scuf was better in the QC department and lasted longer. I believe it has gotten better though. The only weird thing about the controller was the underside paddles. I loved the normal ones BUT the ones on the flat of the underside that you just bump were just really hard to get used to. Bumper pings were alright but I kept hitting them when getting flustered 🤣. I do love that this is reasonably priced because they don't have to put any money into Microsoft or Sony. Hopefully, it continues that way to give them a really good entry into the market. Digital Triggers to Normal are amazing.
If you still have the controller and used it after this video, does it still work properly or has there been any issues with it at all? Im thinking about getting one, so i dont wanna be let down with it breaking in less than a year. Im safe with my controllers but im still just curious
