THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I am putting TMR hall effect sticks on my scuf and needed to see how to get the ribbon off without messing it up. I may go ahead with it tonight even though its 22:00..
@@Wappie21calibrates the sticks to reach 100% all around and be within 2% in the middle I believe. U just gotta play with the little tabs around the stick
how do you connect the game pad tester just to the naked board? I tried, but I am only able to get a connection with the battery plugged in and the board in the front shell
Hey boss! I followed everything in the video to the T, but now the scuf paddles aren’t responsive, the light for the remap isn’t on either to tell me that the scuf part is working. Everything is soldered and I went back and even tried resoldering but nothing…. Any thoughts?
13:18 check if that part is on correctly and I don’t mean the solder but the ribbon cable might not be lined up properly with the holes in the board and so the scuf paddles aren’t getting powered properly it might be that or the ribbon cable is fried
@@reflex9514 yeah, I had went through and played with it again … I’m assuming it’s fried! idk how but I’m currently just waiting on a cheap broken scuf I can take it off of 😭
you can also replace the disc inside the macro buttons with the ones from your old sticks, if you tear down the L3 press button if you lose it, i did that haha
great vid you reckon you can do a how to calibrate newly soldered sticks without the speed up on your nedt ps5 fix wouls like to see how to do it correctly
Got a scuf reflex fps a month ago, ignored all the claims about the remotes and got one anyway, my l2 button has began an irregular clicking pattern sometimes it will respond to the click sometimes it will not. Any fixes?
What's the price on this, my right stick keeps turning when I move it left or right and if I don't touch it it'll slide to the left slowly than pick up speed till max turn speed
We do try to mittigate the stick drift from coming back. We have controllers out there from repeat customers over two years a go and no stick drift happening for them.
@@UberMicroRepairs nah i don't think so if you re-install the exact same component the wear will be the same, i've tested replacement sticks by now and they all either have problems right away or reappear after months or a year of intensive use. Only Hall effect is good, and lasts much longer.
@@Shisizuwa I do think so, because I have alot of repeat customers and we always ask how previous repairs are holding up. We have alot of competative gamers sending multiple controllers in all year round. So yeah... When we install new sticks .. They last!
😂 love the thumbnail! Thank you so much for fixing my controller so fast you've done an awesome job..happy customer
Thank you, our pleasure .

Man I love your work and how you're such a precise perfectionist.
Wow, thank you! Means a lot!
@@bkid1776isn’t it just sped up? still very precise work either way
Thanks for showing your calibration method smh how simple it is and i never even considered doing that 🙏🏽✅️🎯
What does he do there? I've bought a soldering iron and new sticks. But I thought it would be plug and play kind of

Great video man!
I love the way you calibrate the sticks, would you give us a tutorial on how to do it?
plz make a video explaining how you calibrated and re centered your joystick, it’s hard to understand how u did it in the video
how much does this cost? i got exact same problem with exact same controller
Same
11:49 how do you calibrate it?
Great fix mate
Thanks man!
What was the blue stuf u removed from the board? And can u elaborate on the stick calibration?
Great video and great iron been looking at one and seems to be work horse for you
Thank you. Yeah both irons have been very good purchases. The KSGER is still going strong since 2018 with (literally) thousands of hours on it!
Based on your experience would you recommend using a Hakko FR301 to desolder the sticks?
How did you calibrate the joysticks like that, do youbthink you could do a tutorial.
So I'm sending my controller back lol. Damn... wish I had your tools.... patients and passion...

Great video again 👏😁👏
Thanks 😋

I wonder why scuff specifically or these major brands get stick drift easier than others I feel like.
Literally get more stick drift than the normal controllers
Simple. Controllers are used more aggressively. You play cod and overwatch, not rayman
Hey man , great video, just curious on what temps you have your hot air gun and soldering gun at ? Thanks !!
450 celsius would be fine

my controllers' cpu-like item is loose. How do I keep it secure?
I have the same one and mine is doing the same thing on the right stick. It keeps going left.
Mine too
I know PS4 is 10k pot. Can we use this in dualsense? It's urgent i don't have time to order parts. Please do reply. Thanks
When you calibrate the sticks, are you just twisting the plastic shaft? Does it not return to its original position after time?
I have ps5 controller and it’s got the same issue 😂 am thinking of getting the Victrix as you could possibly just replace the analog
We recently replaced an analog in a Victrix module. They use the same ALPS analogs.

I have exactly the same issue on my left stick. Shoots forward 100% sporadically without even touching it.
why dide you remove the blue stuff and what is it

What's the price on this, my right stick keeps turning when I move it left or right and if I don't touch it it'll slide to the left slowly than pick up speed till max turn speed
I’m having the same exact issue, can I send from the us?
Why dont you just replace potentiometers inside analogs?
Do you sell the l2 and r2 buttons? I don't know why scuff won't just let you buy your own parts after the controller is out of warranty.
How do I get in contact with you to fix my Scuf Ps5 Reflex?
For real, did he ever get in contact with you?
How you film your videos
Where we can dl this software ???
mine does the same exact thing too shoot to the left rlly fast
Mines started doing that on the left to the left
Is this the only way to fix stick drift ?
It's the way we fix it. Not DIY friendly I know.
@@UberMicroRepairsI respect that 💯
It takes a few extra seconds to add low melt solder to the joints for easier removal of the sticks.
NO!! Don't use low melt solder for high stress joints!! Bad advice!! Leaded solder yes.. Nothing containing Bismuth!!
I only meant for the removal of the sticks. Not to seat them in for ever.
please Send me the link so or website so o can send my controller
