Use a control freaks ring or maybe two if it’s a long stick. The black ones. It will increase the tension and create a soft touch to your aim. I use them with my vantage
My standard DualShock 4 and a Strikepack are my best friend. After multiple trial and errors with SCUF and other “pro controller” companies, it’s just not worth what you pay for. Learned to dissect and repair my own DualShock 4s and never looked back.
I got mine 4 weeks ago (same exact headache to get it!) and I have LOVED the controller so far. The grip, the responsiveness, it feels great. Unfortunately yesterday one of the longer paddles snapped - it's still mostly functional but the end of it just broke right in half all of a sudden. Something to look out for. I've emailed Scuf and I'm hoping they can do something, it doesn't look like they sell replacement paddles for it yet.
@@Slite thanks man! They responded within an hour, apologized, and are sending me a replacement paddle kit right away. They’re even paying shipping to Canada. W scuf 👌
Honestly you should try out the cowbox wireless ps4 controller with 3 programmable buttons. There 45 on Amazon but they are off brand controllers with like tons of accessories. Plz plz plz plz plz and thank you
man you speaking straight facts lol ...i miss the last 4 times but this time i got 2 reflex pros and 2 fps ..going to keep the FPS and flip the other 3 ...
You can get control freaks if you like those controller attachments. Also, PS5 controllers can break a lot easier than other controllers. They have the least amount of input delay than any other though. I have yet to get stick drift with my'n after using it for over 4 months, but I also am not a hardcore Fortnite feen like most of ya'll💀 Overall prob the best in performance and tech but you definitely are at risk for durability and reliability from what I have heard about a standard PS5 controller. Others have had amazing experiences with them though. Really just a hit or miss with so far most being a hit.
@@Jd2fast Maybe wireless, but wired Dualsense is better. Plus with a 1000hz overclock your getting around 3.7ms input delay on a Dualsense. Not everybody going to overclock it either for whatever reason, wether its because they are lazy or whatever, but out of the box and wired, Dualsense is better.
@@reydizzle That only applys to console im pretty sure the only way it’s faster than a ps4 controller is if you only like using Bluetooth. Wired on pc ps4 is faster and I know for a fact overclocked ps4 is faster that’s why I haven’t bothered trying a ps5 controller plus I heard the joysticks are too choppy on ps5.
Mine just arrived yesterday. The d-pad feels like it is sticking and the right arrow misses a lot of light input. It requires a lot more force than the other buttons. Is the rubber membrane supposed to feel the same (as firm) as the DualSense? I really want to give it a shot if this isn’t the case, and considering a replacement/repair and don’t want to eat the 15% restock fee if they don’t deem this as a defect. What are your thoughts?
It’s sensitive because it’s raised, then on top of that it’s domed, that’s double sensitive compared to short and concave. Probably would have tried the normal sticks first.
1 year late but if you want a raised analogue. Just get an elite controller or some kontrol freeks. Less tedious to change over and unlike some manufacturers aren’t permanent changes.
Quick question, is it comfortable to press the back paddles with one removed on each side while playing claw? I play right hand claw so i’ve always felt slightly uncomfortable pressing the right paddles. I would also always remove one of the right paddles so I don’t accidentally click both of them.
Playing claw with a scuff controller defeats the purpose, no? If you switched to scuff or any paddle controller you should switch to traditional instead of claw. The whole point in claw is to keep your hands on the sticks while being able to press other inputs simultaneously, which is exactly the purpose controllers like scuff fill. Playing claw on scuff or any other paddled controller makes no sense. 1 you won’t reach the paddles, 2 you don’t need the paddles because you’re playing claw.
I purchased the Reflex Pro today from their latest drop in the blue colour-way. Doesn’t ship until May 12th so I’ll be waiting a while for it to arrive lol.
I definitely dont need the instant clicks to do well and i know the wear on the instant triggers using them and clicking them for hours and hours for months i honestly think by around the 4-5th month the instant triggers will be worn tf down. I hope im proved wrong though great review and i just bought this controller ( the one with out the instant clicks because of my fear of it not working after heavy use )
I have a normal ps5 controller with paddles and kontrol freaks. Sucks that it doesn't have instant triggers but I can make some makeshift omes for it eventually
I use the Astro C40 and I have the Pro Xbox Scuf Instinct. I use the C40 with a scroll wheel attachment for Fortnite and I use the Instinct for Vanguard ranked. Both are really good controllers depending on which game you use them for.
Is the controller still working? I've never had good luck with scuff controllers. On my series x there's a few options, on ps5 not so much. Looking at all options for pro controllers for ps5. If you've had any issues what are they?
From your experience... can you tell me what controller is the best. My second controller form BattleBeaver customs broke now after less than a year and I'm not prepared to spend any money on a controller that will do the same
If you don’t care about how the controller feels get the Victrix Pro BFG. If you have a PS5 I’d just get the pro controller because it has everything the scuf has but cheaper. For PC though I do not know.
Basically just get the victrix pro bfg, it gives the most things. It comes with special thumb sticks and even grips on the controller so for premium quality get the normal ps5 pro and to get ur moneys worth get the pro bfg
Yes, handcam vid with new controller and video updating on controller quality after a few months of use

If the right stick is super sensitive, then maybe try raising the dampening time on the right stick?
Literally went through everything you went through. The triggers are very sensitive 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Im selling mine in blue.
Was this video from a while ago because low meshes were gone this season.. also that's a pretty good controller Glad you made a review about it
Astro c40 controller vs scuf ps5 controller which one is the best?

Can you make a quick video on what you remap your paddles to, why you only use 3 of them and how you compensate for one less paddle?
i really only use 2 paddles soooooo the third is just extra and i havent thought about what i wanna use it for yet
